Greetings from Lemnos island, where we just arrived for our vacations. It's a long way from Salamyconos🤪but it's one of the most beautiful places, with amazing beaches (locals say 222), nice food, and still, affordable prices! Have a very joyful weekend!❣

I forgot to mention the best beach (for me) is called Kanakia beach! It's a little far, but you drive through a pine forest and arrive at the beach. I think you ladies would really like it. Plus, there's a nice taverna right behind the beach.

Salamina I am so gladly surprised because in my mind I thought it was one of the bottom of my list to choose to go. I think it's the closest to the main land and I have been there once Kathari Deftera (Monday) and I don't remember much too much orzo you see with all the sea food and all that special food that they do once a year on those days. Anyway it was much better than expected and only 30 to 40 minutes from Drapetchona

Great video girls! What a good looking baby!! And thank you for honoring my request to review the Salamina beaches! 🙂 I like this beach because of the restaurant right there almost on the water, and the plentiful shade everywhere. Not the best view looking out at the water I 've seen, but it's good enough. Can't have everything. If it had great sand and views, it would not be called "Salamykonos", but Mykonos-2 right? 🙂 I love that you showed the food Menu and the prices! If you happen to eat out next time can you please comment on the food as well? BTW, any idea what the average price of a 2-bdrm house is in Salamina with water view? Looking forward to your next beach review!

I got some unexpected news from my brother Michael from Athens that I own a plot of land in Salamina, according to my father’s will which I never knew. Apparently I have got to do something quickly otherwise the authorities will take it from me because it has turned into a jungle. I must get to Athens in the near future and try to sell it. Can you believe it? ❤, Georgios, Norwich. 🇬🇷✝️🇬🇧

That's actually very common. It happened to me too when my dad passed away unexpectedly in Athens in 2007. When I flew in from the US to take care of the funeral etc., I sat down with his lawyer and there was all kinds of legal stuff I had to take care of (and pay property taxes too that he owed). That's when I found out about a couple of smaller apartments he still owned which I thought he had gotten rid of long ago. Luckily the lawyer wrote down a list of what I had to do and where to go. I was running around for 7-8 days to different places with the dang bureaucracy starting with the Liksiarxio to get a copy of my birth certificate, because without it you don't get anything done legally. Had to get an AFM too in order to pay the taxes and get the apartments in my name from the inheritance, (I was born in Athens but left for the US as a teenager), get a Greek ID at the Police station, etc. Every day was an adventure at these public/government places I went to apply for, surrender, or retrieve legal documents. It takes a lot of patience and a good amount of effort to keep your sanity 🙂 And after all that I had to fly back 6-7 months later to appear in Court for the judge to approve/validate the will! Apparently that's a common thing in Greece and the will your loved one left does not mean anything, unless the government (a judge) approves it as being authentic and legal, etc.

At first I thought he might be a pick-pocket thief because they usually want an excuse to get close, but I am sure that's just me from being a cop for a short period in my life that makes me suspicious of people and certain behaviors 🙂 I do notice things that most people don't though...
