My son moved out this past weekend and I officially became an empty nester, his bedroom in the basement has now become my sewing room and I spent my day in there yesterday fixing it up, it’s so wonderful having a warm and inspiring space to sew, I love your room and I never thought about pegboard ! Im a beginner and thanks to you I was able to finish up my 1st project which I copied from you, the rectangle shirred dress, no pattern dress! You are very inspiring even how you fix your sewing room! I have converted my dining room into a sewing room and made my dining table as my drafting cutting table! I must admit sewing is such an addicting hobby!! And Im so happy I stumbled into this channel which inspired me even more to create my own garments. I love your creations and would be sewing more from your style of sewing which is very practical and doable for a beginner like me! Oh and I finally decided which serger I would get! The one like you're using, Singer! More power to your channel!! And see you again on your next video! Oh and I love how you re-organize your sewing room, it's very much like you, simple beautiful and very gentle!

One tip, if you didn't frame the back of the peg board off screen, the weight of the items you have on it could warp it to the point where the upper section would touch the wall making it harder to change pegs. So if not framed, I would do that and also attach it to the wall horizontally for more storage option. Longer pegs can hold one by lumber to make shelves or hold baskets for more storage.

I've never really sewn clothing because, for some reason, I can't properly measure myself and don't add the precise amount of seam allowance for the right fit, but after watching your videos, I've got the courage to make something! I made the gathered crop top a while back and just made the jumpsuit a few days ago, and they are the first DIY clothing that I am adding to my wardrobe :) They turned out really nice, and I just wanted to say thank you for your videos! I can't wait to see what you have in store! :)
