Hi Eileen, I am sooo appreciative of these videos, I have had the dizziness and it was horrible but I found out I had low blood count I had that corrected and dizziness was gone I’m now having terrible worrying and anxiety 😢but I know that this will pass too
Great to hear that you got the dizziness sorted! Often anxiety and worry is a phase that you do ease out of, fingers crossed for you! Best Wishes Eileen
I’ve been in perimenopause for 3 years, and have not slept soundly since. After the persistent brain fog and anxiety (and following all the recommendations for hydration and nutrition) I decided to try something I swore I never would- THC and CBD oil sublinguals after hearing about the sleep benefits. I kid you not, I have been sleeping 4 to 5 hours straight, wake up, and then go right back to peaceful sleep. Best decision. Yes I felt like a naughty teenager walking into the dispensary, but there were other women in there for the same thing, which made me feel much more comfortable. It’s called Indica Honey Oil. I take 0.1 ml at bedtime. I also take 10mg of melatonin when the sun sets, have a chamomile tea, then magnesium. If you have the ability to get a prescription from your doctor for medical cannabis, or it’s legal where you live, please consider this. It may be all you need! I take the minimal amount, and I have no feelings of anxiety or feeling “stoned”, I just sleep really well. I truly hope this helps someone!! And thank you Eileen for another helpful video!!! 🌷💝
Thank you for your channel. I am 69 years old and already in menopause (ie no periods but otherwise a pretty stable transition into menopause). However, 2 years ago I had to undergo gynecological surgery followed by chemotherapy and another anti cancer medication and that has definitely compounded the menopausal symptoms. I look so much older than I did pre-treatment, my body shape has changed (becoming wider) and I suffer terribly with arthritis mainly in the knees but also a little bit in the hands plus hand tremors, I have insomnia and also sudden crying spells and feeling “down” & of course the ever present fear of recurrence.
Thanks for your reply. I did some acupuncture sessions but the price is too high and there was no marked improvement. I’ll keep looking for other solutions.
I am 62 been on four pumps of gel and still fell the same doctor said that's as high as I can go and not a thing there can do been like it 11 years now check my bloods all came back ok hot all day no energy just do not want to do a thing all day drinking lots of water taken vitamins and magnesium only sleeping one hour a night
Hi Jacqueline We do advise that if your HRT isn't really helping, to go back to your doctor to see if they can offer you an alternative. Not all HRTs suit everyone and it can sometimes take a few different tries to get the best one for you. You shouldn't have to feel like this! Best Wishes Eileen
I have been dealing with dizziness lately. My dentist and doctor have told me that I have temporomandibular joint disorder and high blood pressure. My dentist says there isn't much that can be done for the TMJ besides surgery. My doctor has advised some lifestyle modifications to help lower my blood pressure.
Hi Melisa A Craniosacral practitioner can often help with TMJ so worth looking into! If you live in the UK, you can find local practitioners here www.craniosacral.co.uk/practitioner-directory/ Best Wishes Eileen
I played classical music on my phone and it REALLY helped my brain, especially going through a dark time with menopause. I really think it helped me tremendously.
This was an enlightening episode. Thanks so much. In india we don't have much specialised support on this subject, so these videos are helping so much.
Thank you. This morning, I woke up feeling dizzy. Now, whenever I bend over, I feel like I'm going to fall over. It's like being drunk without the intoxicating effects.
Thank you Eileen for all the information. I’ve had really intense anxiety and fear. It has really changed me completely. Never in a million years did I think this could happen. Do you recommend GABA for anxiety? I’ve read is suppose to help with anxiety because it helps with the neurotransmitter of our brain. Must stay strong. ❤
You're welcome Aideen. I don't know a lot about GABA so it would be a question of trying it for a month or so and see how you get on Best Wishes Eileen
Magnesium helps produce GABA. Look for a product called EASE by Ian Clark. It's the best magnesium I've used and doesn't sting like other topical magnesium. I know the hell of menopause and so I try to implement things like this. There are two other things I came across to help me but I have not tried them yet. They are still in transit and I like to share only things I've tried and tested.
This is such a difficult question to answer as it is different for everyone. Some women may only experience a short spell of symptoms whilst for others it could go on for many years, sorry. Best Wishes Eileen
My mom only had a short spell of it and with me, it's been several years now. The living hell of it. However, I do bits and pieces to lessen the symptoms. It is possible to overcome with time and certain implementations.
Hi Tammy Soya foods are not always the most effective way to go (and can cause bloating, wind etc) but taking a soya extract supplement (fermented ones are best) can often be helpful Best Wishes Eileen
