    The part when you said that family members can think you are going out of your head is so true. Especially in the Latin culture. My family is of Latin/Spanish decent and they always talk about this phase of a woman’s life as if it’s the end of a woman and that she’s a menopausal mess. I am changing that narrative in my family. It’s not easy to break the programming but I do feel it’s getting through to some of them. I pray that soon everyone can stop this nonsense and realize and understand that this is a vital part of a woman’s journey and we deserve support and understanding, not shaming. Have a blessed day everyone and thank you Aileen for always talking about this phase in our lives ❤❤❤

    My emotional and psychological symptoms hit me like a truck and were something I definitely wasn’t prepared for. Turning to alcohol was a massive mistake. Giving up alcohol, along with television and social media, has relieved me of a whole list of symptoms meaning that I can focus properly on myself, my family life and interests with a clear head.

    HRT saved my life - literally! Nobel Prize whoever invented it. I would be an agoraphobic with panic attacks stuck at home. I work now, I run the household of 6 people including teenagers, I am calm and ‘normal’. No more crying spells for no reason. I am not afraid of supermarkets, driving and going for hikes on my own. HRT is my best friend!💖

    Thank you Eileen. I have been feeling like I am losing it. So much doom and crying episodes. I knew that hormones can be an issue but I had no real idea about the doom feelings that I am having. And the crying...sometimes I feel like a little girl again, crying over something so little, but I can't stop the tears. It is like a sadness that takes over and I feel hopeless about everything. Then the next day, I will be up, and positive, feeling like I have got myself back...only to have this cycle repeat in days, or weeks later. I have not watched the news in a year. I can't handle social media, although I don't think that is such a bad thing, but I am sooo different than who I used to be. Little things that I would have found funny, I now find aggravating or sad, or justbplain ridiculous. I all of a sudden, feel so relieved after watching this. I am 54 and my last 3 periods have been totally out of the blue, and are just barely spotting for 4 days. So I think I am almost out of perimenapause, at least I hope so. Thank you so very much for your video...I am so grateful!! ❤❤😊

    Yes, oversensitive, overwhelmed and fearful... I'm afraid of a breakdown. Intermitant fasting a few days of the week seemed to improve it. I need to get back to doing that again. It has been very hard for me. I’m 46 and I found it I was in the perimenopause phase last year. Lots of crying, fear I’m going to die or a loved one will, always worried something is going to happen. When my daughters get sick I get so scared and cry over the stress. If I get sick it scares me so much. When will it stop? It’s been a year already. I take all my vitamins I have lost so much weight over GI issues because of anxiety. Than you for this video Eileen. ❤It really helps calm things down knowing it’s all hormonal. I need to stay strong.

    How to know if you experiencing depression or state of your mind is caused by perimenopause? I've experienced all what you said last year, it was horrible , I remember fearing that something will happen to my son out of nowhere, remember crying at work for no reason , I still get emotional when I watch news or some TV shows when I know it wouldn't make me cry in the past ! I do expierience brain fog too but I'm only 39 years old . Also lack of concentration and motivation are big for me too .

      @NaturalHealingAlchemist 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dd-fy2mhOh my love absolutely nothing is impossible and as others have stated a test isn’t really conclusive because of how fast our hormones shift. Check out this book 📖 called “Natural Menopause “ by Anne Henderson & Dr. Rebecca Dunsmoor-Su. There are also lots of perimenopause books. I drink raspberry leaf tea, red clover tea and anything calming with lavender and chamomile, passionflower, vitamin d and k2. Avoid triggers like sugar, processed foods, caffeine and alcohol. Also as mentioned in the video magnesium can help with anxiety , sleep and muscle function. I have magnesium citrate gummies. I pray 🙏 you stay strong 💪🏻 through this and know what your body is telling you and not a stranger. 😉

      Thank you for your fantastic advice NHA, all of these can make such a difference.
      @dd, there are many women that start the perimenopause before forty so you are not alone here. It can often be hereditary so if you know that your mum or grandmother or aunts started around the same age, this is a big clue.
      It is difficult to say whether symptoms are hormonal or are associated with depression, you may find seeking the advice of a Herbalist or Naturopathic Doctor helpful as they can often find out what's really going on and formulate a personalised treatment plan for you

      This is really common, as you get get really anxious about things which then affects blood pressure so it can become a real vicious cycle. You could try the Passiflora Spray and take about 30 min before you take your blood pressure. Passionflower is known to calm the heart.
