At 43, I was just diagnosed with endometriosis. I’m trying to manage the symptoms, and found that when incur out eggs (my favourite) and dairy (my second favourite!) the pain is much less, and my chronically sore shoulder has miraculously healed. I miss eggs and dairy so much, but the pain I get when I eat them makes it not tempting anymore. I should say I had no issues with dairy or eggs prior to the past 3 years. Thanks Eileen, I anlways appreciate your videos.

Sorry to hear that you've developed issues with these, it often tends to be with our favourite foods, which is really annoying! :(

Yes,I have also developed a reaction to eggs since menopause. It appears to be very inflamatory. I also loved a good omelet and / or boiled eggs. I miss them so much.

Can I ask about your shoulder. I have had migraines and the most terrible shoulder pain. It’s definitely menopause for me. I was just interested that you mentioned it

I was avoiding dairy products and wasn’t feeling well. Now I just started eating cheese and feeling so much better ❤️

Hello Eileen, I actually love bread and butter and cheese, but hey I’m 46 so I enjoy those as a treat, small portions. By the way thank you for the magnesium tip because it has helped me for over a year now with my migraines.
Cute outfit! UK people are always so elegant 😃😘

Hi Eileen! 😊 I noticed I was developing a dairy allergy back in 2018 while I was in peri menopause. I was able to drink and eat dairy products with no problem before, but around that time I started having respiratory issues every time I ate or drank dairy products. It was worse during allergy season. I stopped drinking and eating dairy products except for occasionally eating cheeses with low lactose content. I don't have the issue anymore since cutting out most dairy products and using plant based milks, such as almond or oat.

Hi Eileen. Can perimenopause cause muscles to get less endurance? And once muscle gets less endurance, breathless will occur? Is it normal for perimenopause?

      Hi
Yes, muscle mass can start to decrease, resulting in weaker muscles which tire quicker when exercising. Breathlessness isn't necessarily connected to this so it's important to get a check up with your doctor to rule out other health issues

@ I checked my thyroid and heart. Both are normal. So I do not know what causes the breathless. Is it when muscles get tight and breathless will occur?

So far dairy really agrees with me, but I eat high-quality full fat dairy products and generally stick with 3-4 servings a day (usually 1 cup of whole milk, 1-2 ounces of cheese, and a cup of yogurt or kefir).

      Hi
Yes, it is important to have good quality products and I always recommend full fat!
