I've never been a big vegetable eater. It's so hard to break habits of lifelong eating! But I AM finding, in Menopause, that I feel nauseous more frequently. Smaller meals definitely help.
I drank Peppermint tea at night last thing and suddenly my stomach felt like it had been stabbed, it was horrible and the wind and cramps for 2 days! This was the worst bout yet. I had been stressed and tense but was calm after breathing and it was an hour after drinking it so it was a shock. I'm still nursing the system. I'm 8 years post Menopause and used to be able to eat anything but now my diet is so so restricted but still the bloating and fat! I had a big glass of water with half a lemon and it did wonders. No alcohol, no bacon or spices.
I take Mastic Gum. Bad flare up I take Slippery Elm. I also take a ProDigestive Enzyme before I eat and a dose of Prelief. I have had low acid since I was born. This has been one of my worst symptoms in Peri due to having low acid since birth. Peri made it worse. Actually all the trigger foods are the ones I can eat. The ones I can't eat are the low acid ones. I can't even eat bread very well.

You may find the herb Dandelion root or ginger can be helpful for nausea :)

Good to hear that the water and lemon was helpful! Must admit that peppermint doesn't agree with me either!
