Well the real reason he leaves is because there is no master rank version of the regular Deviljho. The developers used a high rank jho for the cutscene, so once regular gameplay resumes the jho is programmed to immediately leave the locale so it doesn't get curbstomped.
I think Garuga's fight in Iceborne is the most fun fight in all of Monster Hunter. I already loved Yian Garuga before (In my favorite 4 monsters) , but now it is my favorite monster of all time, such a fun god damn fight, and since it is such a fun fight, it's going to be fun grinding him for all of his armor and weapons (Because I love his Lance, it is literally just his tail on a stick).
@thesteelworm crawl Yeah, the only weapons that didn't get the bone version (To my understanding because I haven't unlocked their upgraded versions yet which use scarred Yian Garuga parts). Are dual blades, lance, long sword and hunting horn. With the hammer being disappointing but still actually alright, it is bone, but it has Garuga's beak and partial face kind of eating the bone hammer. I will still be using the hammer though as it does still resemble at the very least his old face hammer, which was my favorite hammer in all of monster hunter, which will drive me to use it even if it is just slapped on parts, because at least it resembles the original.

I think if they made the "Slap on" or "Lazy" weapon design more like the "Slap on" or "Lazy" Garuga hammer it would be a bit better, honestly the Garuga Hammer is probably the best "Slap on" or "Lazy" weapon in my opinion. Or a better idea, just make the weapons back to their original form! I mean I know you thought the western audience would like the more "Realistic" weapons MH Team but we don't, mainly because some of us have already played the previous games and loved the unique weapon designs there. Of course it also is a bit because they only have 4 people working on every weapon in Iceborne and the regular game, which is sad, but I get it.
Banbaro shows up on all maps... Which I think is stupid. Why the hell would a shaggy haired moose show up in the desert or volcano...? And he just doesn't look right outside the Reach either...
Dart.11 also he is from the hoarfroast reach which is literally a island separared from the main island (where mhw history goes on ) i mean how the fuck he managed to travel that much from a island to another (we NEVER saw him swimming) and also why he is invading if he is a herbivore ,apex out there aren't weaker than apex in the hoarfroast reach , if he were a carnivore it would make more sense but he isn't
Yian garuga is the only monster i know that hunt the hunter not because driven by hunger or because it's territorial. It's for the sake of the thrill and challenge itself. Such aa badass monster IMHO.
It's so weird seeing Garuga on the flying wyvern model and not the brid wyvern model from older games. He's so much shorter in the game, but damn this fight looks amazing so glad he is back. One of my favorite fights and they made it even better.

For example in Gen and GenU when you fought one eyed wolf garuga it was by in game measurement standards(for crowns) around the same size as a rathalos but man they look entirely different frame wise. You can walk between a gold crown garugas legs in and have space above your head to it's stomach. That is not the case for a gold crown rathalos even though measurement wise(which I think is length) they are around the same. That lead me to believe they were on different skeletons. Who knows it could be the same one just repositioned. Regardless he much shorter in this game compared to previous generations
If you observe her close, she startet the Fight whit clutchclawing the head. The head is his weakspot and Garuga is super weak to Flinching. Also the damagebooster ability tenderizer works now only on parts you prepared, she clawed the head to make it super weak to knockdoens and flinches AND get extra damage on top. She did the same whit Zinogres claws. Shes quiet the badass.
Nice run but you should really try the Radial menu it gives you faster and easier access on the go to what you need you can even had to it craft actions among other things.
It seems Hammering Garuga is in some way Tradition under uperclass Players. Plz show the Variant to, I wanna see him. Oh and his introductury Cutszene, absolut bonkers. Thats some 4U Level Shit.
Gonna take a while, Iceborne monsters are way tankier than World monster so farming gear takes a lot longer, I still haven't even seen all monsters yet.

If you don't know yet, to get garuga, raise your forest region in the guiding lands to level 3 then return to Seliana. To get another five monsters, raise the level of each region to level 6. Each region will have a new monster that ca show up. Focus on one region at a time, as it will e improbable for you to raise them all to level 6 at the same time.
