Absolutely love your videos because they are so foundational and fundamentally sound. My faults are open club face and over the top (especially with the driver). Well done, boys.
You guys have helped me a lot, i’ve been able to surpass some of my friends who have been playing like the whole year meanwhile i’ve been playing acouple months
The best golf channel I’ve seen! Love this video. I make the over the top and open face. Open face is a nightmare. Will get alignment sticks and check these tips out. Thanks again for the great video.
A video thats definitely talking about my swing. Been working on the take away for a few months which is coming together, the hands is a proving challenging to teach new tricks and as my coach says ‘scoopy wrists’ is killing my shots. Can’t wait for my home net to turn up to practice all these drills 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We all watch TH-cam videos about how to improve our golf game. Probably too much. But this is the one that, for me, really did the trick! I got rid of my slice so completely, I've had to dial back a bit to keep from pulling the ball. Thanks!
Great vids, guys. Coming from a billiard background, now I feel like taking up golf and really understanding the mechanics and movements thanks to your vids. Keep it up, cheers!
Braaaaavo fellas. You had me at 1. #2 is definitely me as well. My misses are normally a block right or a hook. I love the basket drill and will be trying all three in my next practice session. Hopefully I can cure my sway and start closing the hips in my down swing. Thank you so much fellas.
Great video chaps. First mistake was one i'm most guilty of! Had to keep on watching from there. Love the comparison between the good and bad technique
Great video.. I cant wait to try out some of these tips this weekend. I have to say I make all of these occasionally, but the early release is probably my biggest/ most consistent mistake. Thank you!
great stuff, i think i have alot of the issues discussed.. i can improve by practice but bad habits come back fast! wonder if you guys have recommendations on how much and when to practice to ensure a good game is carried to the course.
I have a brutal reverse spine angle that I've had for years. This year I've been working with a coach to basically redo my entire swing and it feels good but boy is it frustrating. Setting up a net at home so hopefully that means I can work in the winter months on it
Good day Andy and Piers, I’ve been playing golf since I was 16. My mother got me a set of King Cobra irons for me to play of the high school team and they are falling apart. Anyway I’m 20 years of age now and I’ve been saving up for a while now and I want a new set of irons however I’m afraid to pull the trigger on them because I feel as if they’ll be a waste of money if I’m not at the level of golf playing I want to be at. Last week I played Bonita Bay Golf course in Florida, US with a buddy of mine who’s an employee and I shot an 84. I don’t even use a driver off the tee because well... it’s not pretty however I can hit my 3 wood 260 yards pretty consistently which puts me in iron range on par 4 and such. This is where my game breaks down though. I find myself hitting it very thin a lot of the time or if I do hit it well it’s off target by a good amount or even worse shanking it into the nearby pond. Now normally I would go Happy Gilmore and find my ball in the water but Florida has Gators. Anyways I go to the range at least once a week and try to hit the hall first then the ground but whenever I get my weight going forward to get the bottom of my swing path past the ball I always feel off balance is there any tips for stance, drills for balance, or something. Thank you
Hello! Okay so in terms of buying a set of irons, you definitely don't have to be at a certain level to treat yourself and it very much sounds like your game is in a good place shooting 84's so well done for shooting that! In terms of your practise, we would definitely recommend filming your swing and heading over to the shot fixer zone on our website and pin pointing where you are going wrong and what drills you can do to improve your swing!
Eager to get out to try the ball sitting down chipping technique. Are those black bands near your elbow for golf elbow? I suffer and looking for the best remedy!
Can’t stress enough how big of a mistake the open clubface is! Started having lessons and first thing noted was the open clubface.. in a single lesson we had it parallel with my spine angle and i gain 30yards on my irons! Such an easy thing to fix yet so common
I have a fused right ankle, and am a senior golfer. Since the operation I have gone up from 12 to 19 handicap as I can't get through the ball properly. would be grateful for any help !
I don’t understand wood shots. I’m good with a driver and irons but I can’t for the life of me hit a wood on the fairway. I either ground it or top it. Would love a video on using woods 🙌🏽
Hi Marc, if you go to our Video Vault section on our website, you will find a whole range of videos on this subject that will definitely help you! hope this helps. meandmygolf.com
What is we’re having a big issue with a lice bc we can never get the head turned and if it does it’s late. Both on the irons and woods and drivers? Pitching and 56 and 60 degree wedges the clubs come through square to the ball. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
One of my main faults is catching the call thin. Even when I play with ball position I still catch it thin. If I do, on occasion, catch the ball pure I barely pinch it off the turf with little to now divot. Is this a sign of early release?
Why not try wearing rain gloves, both hands twice the grip, or maybe try thicker grips, you can get thicker made grips or just get more tape under standard grips. Hope this helped
I have open club face with driver only, irons I can hit straight, always feel confident with irons. Driver I get a slice. I have take videos of myself and have seen club is good at first checkpoint, at top of backswing and at last parallel but still manage to slice :( could it be im not turning my hands enough at impact leaving the club face ever so slightly open?
Do you have a drill for me? I mostly have the problem, that I play a slice if I point myself directly at the target, and if I point myself 20° left I hit it totaly straight. Both shots end up in the rough or OOB. Problem NR 2 is that my slice is better as long as I just make a 3/4 swing and use 60% power. But that way I am kinds short.
Hi Flo! If you check out our Shot Fixer zone on our website we have a whole page to help you fix your slice. Hope this helps. Be sure to keep us updated! meandmygolf.com/fix/slice/
One other mistake that would be nice to see is pulling the lead arm in or turning in and hitting on the toe. Sometimes it can be bad enough you almost miss the ball.
Hi Magnus. Thank you for letting us know, here is a link taking you directly to the shot fixer zone on our website where we provide drills to help you fix the early extension. Hope this helps. meandmygolf.com/dashboard/fix/early-extension-push#video=why-do-i-chicken-wing
Maybe a weird one, I horribly shank the ball at the range with my wedges, does not happen on the course and other clubs at the range are fine, it’s an issue because it dents confidence even tho it doesn’t happen on the course, what is going wrong?!
Seriously guys, these side-angle cutaways are SO annoying. If you have all those cameras, how about you shoot some singles with the other ones. Or cut away to a gopher popping out of a hole? Or just jump cut it. Anything except "Here are the guys talking to someone over there. Who the heck are they talking to? Look at me. Look at ME!" Beyond that, your content is simply stellar. Thanks so much for the training!
Hi Larry! If you head over to our Shot Fixer section we have some great drills over there that can fix your loss of posture and balance, hope this helps! meandmygolf.com/dashboard/fix/loss-of-posture-slice#video=what-is-the-open-face-fault
Happens to the best of us! Just remember if you have a few of these start from the top 'the open club face' and work your way down until you start seeing an improvement. Very important to film your progress as well because sometimes the smallest adjustments can get your swing to how you want it!
Maybe it’s out of place, but it seems like a lot of these issues can be solved with good stretching. A lot of these movements are uncharacteristic for your casual player. Just moves and muscles you don’t generally use. Would be interesting to see something on good muscles to stretch to benefit the wrist, the arms, and the core, so that you don’t feel so uncomfortable while making good golf movements.
Which one of these mistakes do you make?
Meandmygolf not anymore
Early Release 😕
almost all of them :( I'll be spending a lot of time at the range now working
All of them. Open face mostly which creates all the other issues.
Sway is the most for me
Absolutely love your videos because they are so foundational and fundamentally sound. My faults are open club face and over the top (especially with the driver). Well done, boys.
Excellent video. Covers most of the main problems and offers clear solutions. Thanks.
You guys have helped me a lot, i’ve been able to surpass some of my friends who have been playing like the whole year meanwhile i’ve been playing acouple months
Great explanation of golf mistakes and how to correct those. Congratulations

Thanks Ben. Glad you enjoyed it, hope the 3 drills can help you cut out the open club face!
Best video tutorial you have done for a while 👍
Thanks for showing use how to analyze our own videos using lines, great video
Thank you Harry. Glad you enjoyed it!
This just helped me so much, thanks gusys
Great video.. I cant wait to try out some of these tips this weekend. I have to say I make all of these occasionally, but the early release is probably my biggest/ most consistent mistake. Thank you!
Really enjoyed this video guys thank you..
Super erklärt!
Vielen Dank und macht weiter so Jungs. MfG

Halten Sie uns über Ihre Fortschritte auf dem Laufenden!
Nice video guys... I will try it today.
Muchas gracias desde Argentina. Excelente video!!!

Good video. Looking forward to trying those steps in sequence
Brilliant video! Working on fixing my slice
Thanks Dan. Hope it helps.
Good over the top drill. Cheers 👍
Great Content guys! Very helpful
Thanks Sieg!

Get using a mirror as much as possible to see what you are looking for . Some specific gym exercises would really help too
I miss your guys course vlogs any chance of a return?
This is something we're very excited to start doing it again and hopefully will be returning soon!
Somebody needs to explain to me why this doesn't have more likes
Great tips thanks
Brilliant video, first 3 very good.
Great video guys👍🏻. Could you please make a video how to keep your left arm straight. Thank you🙏🏻

Amazing video
Thank you for your good leeson ^^입니다
I have all these mistakes when playing 18 holes.
Eager to get out to try the ball sitting down chipping technique. Are those black bands near your elbow for golf elbow? I suffer and looking for the best remedy!

Such an easy thing to fix yet so common
It really is Lestyn. Changes everything.
the chemistry is extraordinary to say the least haha
Warm up: play Crochet with your club. and get your hip swing engaged with the Crochet swing.
Well done and easy to understand thank you....Cheers!
I have a fused right ankle, and am a senior golfer. Since the operation I have gone up from 12 to 19 handicap as I can't get through the ball properly. would be grateful for any help !
Swap to lefty clubs?
Just started a laying again after 8 years and I have (not always at the same time) mistakes 1,2,3,4 and 5
Can you do a video on how swing, grip etc... changes for cack handers?
For the over the top drill I personally quite like to use a range bucket
How do you do that? Sounds like a good thing for me…
I don’t understand wood shots. I’m good with a driver and irons but I can’t for the life of me hit a wood on the fairway. I either ground it or top it. Would love a video on using woods 🙌🏽

I keep massively drawing the ball with my low irons, hybrid, 3 wood, and driver. I can’t figure it out any tips on why?
new app, my ears perked up when I heard that 👍🏻👍🏻
Very excited for it Barry! Some great new features on there!
One of my main faults is catching the call thin. Even when I play with ball position I still catch it thin. If I do, on occasion, catch the ball pure I barely pinch it off the turf with little to now divot. Is this a sign of early release?
I have arthritis in my hands and often have difficulty in holding on to the club. I have tried Bionic gloves. any hints?
Why not try wearing rain gloves, both hands twice the grip, or maybe try thicker grips, you can get thicker made grips or just get more tape under standard grips. Hope this helped

Daniel Zavala early extension is the culprit. Try keep rear foot planted longer through the down swing
Do you recommend doing these drills with a certain club? I see you guys are using what looks to be a mid to high iron.
Hi Brad, These drills can be done with any club, but we do recommend using a shorter iron
I think I am guilty of all these mistakes. I will try these drills tomorrow!
They will definitely help you Mike. Keep us updated and let us know of anything else we can help you with!

Not on the list, but early extension.

Hi I don’t sway back but as i try to keep my head down and still as possible i think i get the reverse spine angle
Hi! So what I would say to you is make sure you watch next weeks video and compliment it with this video and it will definitely help you!
starting downswing with shoulders (bad timing) starts about everything wrong and I fall away from the ball and top it
What would you suggest for someone who is guilty of 4 of 5 (i dont do no.4)? Hang up the clubs?
I constantly toe the ball....any drills that can help me guys??...i often wind up with a "chicken wing" at the end of my swing.
💯
I seem to always blade it or hit way behind it. I’ve tried so many different things and can’t seem to fix it
Maybe a weird one, I horribly shank the ball at the range with my wedges, does not happen on the course and other clubs at the range are fine, it’s an issue because it dents confidence even tho it doesn’t happen on the course, what is going wrong?!
I commented before finishing the video and got to the 5th issue and it might be where I’m going wrong! Will give it a go 👌
n0 5 is the bane of my life .
Yes this is a really tough one Adey.
Is this mostly for irons or for all clubs?
All clubs Ryan but we recommend starting with shorter irons to begin with when doing these drills!
How come you aren't at the Asbury any more?
Unfortunately it's closed at the moment, it's being refurbished!
Any idea? my swing is too flat and also hitting it so shallow.

How can I stop loosing balance ??
Hi Larry! If you head over to our Shot Fixer section we have some great drills over there that can fix your loss of posture and balance, hope this helps! meandmygolf.com/dashboard/fix/loss-of-posture-slice#video=what-is-the-open-face-fault
I'm 5/5. Damn man..😆
Golf aside, I just want to see one of you gain about 15 pounds. You know, just to make me feel better.
None of them. I have a late release. How do I fix that
Is it holding the angle for too long or just leaving the face open.
Face is open slightly. I always play a very very slight fade
Is it a bad thing when I probably do all 5 of these? :-(
Happens to the best of us! Just remember if you have a few of these start from the top 'the open club face' and work your way down until you start seeing an improvement. Very important to film your progress as well because sometimes the smallest adjustments can get your swing to how you want it!
i feel you missed a really common problem. 6.) Not enough spare balls in your bag.
40 years between you? 20 from both?
Can you tell by the divot if the swing was over the top?
Yes Glenn certainly if it's considerably left or right.
How come only one of you is wearing a glove.?
Maybe it’s out of place, but it seems like a lot of these issues can be solved with good stretching. A lot of these movements are uncharacteristic for your casual player. Just moves and muscles you don’t generally use. It looks like peirce is 30
No still 43:(
Hanging back hit em fat too much
