Ok right! I think he would do better playing for Wilson staff because they make players clubs.. with Taylor Made he's not in the 123 ..In the shadow of Tiger and DJ. Tommy has gone for the best paid option I'm sure...what are your thoughts guys who's clubs do you prefer.?
I love the simplicity of Tommy's approach. I'll be working on wedges and short irons to have a full, a full-smooth, and a shoulder-height to shoulder-height. 3 numbers with each gives you so many options. Could listen to Tommy talk golf all day. Great video, guys. Thank you.
One of the things I love about this sport, is the availability or disposition that some pros have towards teaching the rest of us, just for the love to the game! Love your channel btw
I’m a Southport lad myself, spent my youth shanking it round the muni and leisure lakes. Loved watching Tommy at the 2016 Open at Birkdale “Go Ed Tommy Lad!!!” I’ll be there next time to see him win it!
Take this the right way, I have watched a number of your videos and found that maybe I didn't 'get' you two. However watching this with Tommy it clicked. Great video and nice balance of asking a good question and letting him explain without interruption.
Tommy was a great guest. Glad he signed with TM so you have access to him ;-). I'd love to see him win The Open and in the meantime, more content with him.
Thanks for introducing us to Tommy,as an Aussie we root for our own but he is such a lovely guy and a real star on the tour.I’m sure he has a lot of fans down under!!
So many great golfers right now. So if he doesn't win a major, its not a knock on his game. He is one of my favorite European guys. Tommy, Rahmbo, and Rory just to name a few. Best of luck to Tommy!
Really an excellent video, congrats to all, particularly Tommy on talking through the three 5 yard differences per wedge and the thought process behind the shots. Very insightful and thanks.
I like the idea of having three distances with each club, 5 yard increments, with a flighted down option via a three quarter swing. This is how the pros are so dialled in with their distances. Now we just have to wait until the driving ranges and courses re-open in the UK, hopefully in time for Spring!
Yeah man I agree, I think I'm gonna work on this, sometimes wouldn't it be nice to have say 153 yardage shot, not a 150, not a 160, but a 153 for instance ..just be that dialed in with those weird jn between yardage or be able to know you hit a half 9 iron say 130 or so no need for a full swing with a wedge....would be nice to have those options
I saw Tommy at the Titleist performance center a couple of years ago hitting pitch shots to different pins at different distances. I saw him hit four flags and the circumference of the other balls next to the pin were astounding.
Humble master class from a consummate professional. Beautifully discussed and Tommy's lesson / tips were awesome or just whack-it-hard! Great video, most appreciated.
Wonderful how down to earth Tommy is. What a great guy! Love his insight into his approach with his short irons....I'll have to start practicing to build a repertoire of the feels for those different shots. Definitely good to have some options to match different conditions on a given approach shot.
Nothing better than being able to point at guys like Tommy and look up to them. So successful and famous yet so humble. Many can learn from him that’s for sure!!
Good tip about taking enough club. I’m happy with that one shot in ten that goes long for the other nine I don’t get out of the middle, but still find the green.
@@meandmygolf. does he just choke down on the club for more control? as he did say he practices hitting punch shots which would mean he is choking down on the club aswell
Super cool to see how much variety is in your iron play. Going into a heavy training and experimentation schedule to get my game up before spring in the US. This will be fun to work on.
Fantastic video, Tommy has an amazing golf swing with a fantastic personality. I am curious about his shoulder height swings if he quiets his lower body for those shots or what does he do to time things up between his lower and upper body on his controlled swings?
I definitely think he will win at least a couple of majors at his two preferred venues of the Open or the Masters because they both really require great iron play and great putting. All Tommy needs is to display some great putting for 4 rounds and that will be his week. The competition is fierce on Tour so he has to get really hot on a Sunday.
Incredible content and as always is as valuable to see how a player thinks out a shot and strategy as it is to see them execute the shot. Only question is how to assess lies. Is it a simple process of reading grain and how much of the ball you can contact? What exactly is happening to the club-ball interaction in those types of lies? And is changing the angle of attack the best way to play those shots?
Sometimes you look at a player hitting the ball and think--how does he not win every tournament. I watched his final round at the Nedbank Classic at Sun City (SA)--it used to be the original Million Dollar. He shot a final round 65 and it was shot making of the highest order. He's not a big bloke yet he hits it dead straight for miles with such a simple swing. He's a top bloke as well...deserves every accolade
Just a shame he can't really putt or he would win a good few majors I'm sure he is amazing tee to green great guy met him couple of times and always has time for fans and a quick chat what a guy. FLEETWOOD for the open
Really useful, I hadn’t thought more info could make things more simple before but I see what he means. What a great bloke - let’s hope he gets that Open win!
Good one lads - lovely bloke! I think he will win The Open ... I definitely practice using the shoulder height method for different shots... gives you options as Tommy said 👊🏻
Tommy's a great ball striker obviously but for us mere mid-handicap mortals, whether the ball goes the intended distance is more to do with the quality of strike than fashioning a shot. However, I like shot-making and shot-makers - much more interesting than USA-style target golf. This is why The Open at a links course (with horizontal rain!) often brings out the patient shot-making major winner, e.g. Shane Lowry at Royal Portrush.
11:08 I once hit a 9-iron out of the rough from 150 and it went 20 yards past the flag over the street into a backyard... I don't know if picking one more club is a good advice for everyone...
What is always incredible to me, is as incredible as these guys are it just puts in to perspective just how great is Tiger Woods! We are debating whether Tommy will win 'a' major! Tiger has 15 plus multiple other wins! T G.O.A.T.! What a gift! As for Tommy! Seems like a nice guy! Maybe he wins one?
What do you think of Tommy's golf swing? Will he win a major? Let us know below?
Such a nice swing! I hope he’ll win a major seems like a really nice guy
It really is, was great to hear his thoughts!
I have no doubt Tommy will win a major. With that swing and his mentality on the course, he has every chance.
Great video by the way! 👍
Have to agree with you Colin! And thank you, glad you enjoyed it!👍

Tommy Fleetwood is such a great ambassador for the game and UK golf.

Tommy seems the most grounded down to earth fella out there. Hope he wins a major very soon. What a golf swing...
The video dropped on the right time , I was struggling a lot with my irons , fatting them and not hitting them straight .
Now it will be okay !
Hope this helps you Manraj👍🏌️♂️
Tommy is so humble. Always concise advice as well. Simple and straightforward instruction.
Huge Tommy Fleetwood fan! Thanks for having him on. He's going to win many real soon!
One of my favorites! Tommy is all class.
Pretty sure he’ll win a major. He’s such a nice bloke, from an admiring Aussie he is a terrific representative of your country and you should be proud
Top bloke Tommy, as is Cam Smith for you guys.
Must be the long hair😉

8:36 Arnold Palmer --> Hitting out of the rough, grid down on it, grid tight, move the ball back a bit and swing more upright.
What a nice guy he is, as we say in the north, he has no side and a good insight on the game
My favorite swing on tour, I hope he wins a major one day
Tommy Fleetwood is probably my favourite player. I desperately hope I get a chance to watch him at the BMW Championship at Wentworth next Saturday 🤞🤞🤞
What a swing, what a ball striker. Great video lads
TF is one of my favorite players. Such a great ambassador for the game and I wish him the best in the rest of his career.
I was at the 2018 Ryder Cup in France and we followed Tommy through all of day two fourballs. Such an incredible player.
That must have been amazing to watch
More Tommy. Period. Brilliant iron player. Okay not just iron player, given him credit ... I say CREATIVE player with all his clubs. Love this guy.
The guy is pure class not only as a golfer but as a human being 👏🏻👏🏻
Tommy Fleetwood is simply an inspiration for golfers of all ages. Great lad.
What a dude. Love him. Cheers guys.
Love this Tommy has basically a stack and tilt swing and yes he's on tour. So now when people say who uses it I can show them Tommy's swing.
Surprised Tom Sagatu hasn't used him as an example exactly what he teaches
18 Hdcp here. I have never thought of hitting for carry. It's always been total yards. Carry makes SO much sense!
😂
Love tommy, he's a class act. Great video
Thanks Aidan👍

@@MarkSmithhhh if you practice that everyday for a couple of hours you might achieve that yeah....as a recreational golfer, no chance
@@maxpf for me, 150-160 metres is fine. No way will I be thinking 155? Sh*t, I wanted to hit it 153!!!
What a fantastic personality and great chemistry with M&MG. Looking forward to more videos with him.
Awesome clip, that downswing fill in the hips is a great tip!

Tommy has a golf swing all golfers wish they would have. I think and hope he wins a major. Delightful man and prodigious talent. Great video guys.
Oozes class, definitely win a major, I think he will win the Masters. Such a decent chap and so methodical.
He is always fun to watch!
Tommy seems like a nice guy. All of this was above my pay grade as a beginner but some interesting things to think about as I get better.

His swing is my favourite for sure
definitely one of my favourite players in the world love how he plays his irons they are really his strong point
They really are, was incredible seeing some of the shots he played in this video!

Loved it. Just Tommy showing his area of focus points to a clear way to work on my swing.
Best video you guys have !! Tommy’s so right about all this yardage approach he has with his game
Hey bud! would mean the world if you could drop my channel a like or two!!! Legend my guy
been waiting on this video for so long! been grinding to imitate his golf move.
Hopefully this tips can help you Tyler👍
What a great guy Tommy Fleetwood. Wish I had his smooth and accurate swing! Thanks guys...
Another great video guys.Tommy will definitely win a Major and he will do it with humility. So nice to see another nice guy tour pro.
Thank you Anthony, glad you enjoyed it! Have to agree hopefully he can win one soon, definitely not too far away👍
One of TMs best signings for sure! Tommy is absolute class 👏🏽👏🏽

Wow wow wow what a fantastic video and what a great guy Tommy is
Top bloke, my favourite golfer.
Come on Tommy, win us a Major.

I do that with my long irons and it's revolutionised my long game.

I’m exactly the same...drawer of the ball that fights hooks....and a sawed off swing took me from 2hc to a +3
Great video as always can’t wait to get back out on the course!
Awesome ball striker, should be perfectly suited to The Open conditions. I think that's his best chance of winning a Major⛳🏌️
Unbelievable. This is the concrete nature of what I believe to be fundamental in golf. Let go. Thanks for the reinforcement
SIM2! Looking forward to the new clubs.

It was a flyer. Grass between ball and club creates this. You don't get flyers off the fairways
Always fancied Fleetwood in the big 5... the big stage never seems to phase him, just a matter of time for a Major or Sawgrass..
Hi guys, love your videos. What video camera do you use to create your youtube content? Thank you!
Fantastic video hopefully Tommy will win a major soon 👍😃
What a guy, another level 👍
I have a strong grip. I swing in to out and I release the club. But somehow I still either slice it or fade it. Any thoughts?
Just hit the ball as close to the hole as possible and you'll be fine.
