Hey all! I just built this golf app where you can get exclusive lessons from the world's greatest golf coaches. It's been the biggest game changer to helping me improve, and wanted everyone to be able to do the same. Check it out here!

I don't comment on many videos. Been watching golf videos day in and day out for the past few months since starting back in April (2024). Randomly stumbled on the video for the Driver swing fix first, then found this one. Saw the should / golf club turn and hip stuff he showed. Decided to go out back at 11:30 PM to go do that a few minutes and then setup the 3 ball drill to hit into my net. Holy light bulb moment. I had a massive problem coming from over the top and going right to left with the club path. That actually felt the most natural, but after doing that for about 30 minutes, going over the top feels completely disgusting now and letting the shoulder come to the chin and then open after contact feels way more comfortable. Sound of the ball contact is so dang nice too. Appreciate ya filming this, yes I've seen a bunch of your newer stuff as well and not sure how I never went back and found these. Easily the best video of watching a coach walk through the stuff with you and then mimic'ing it myself right after watching it. Going to the range to setup the 3 ball drill (tees actually) tomorrow for an hour before I go out and play. 10/10 video, would watch again (and probably should)

New sub and loving this series - Chris is outstanding! I'm learning a lot, especially how to practice. Wish I had a teacher like him. For me, the mental aspect of golf is the most challenging. I tend to overthink everything when I'm on the range but eventually I can fine tune it and hit some great range shots. Then, when I'm on the course, the reverse happens. I start out forgetting everything I practiced, hit terrible shots and begin to over analyze why I'm hitting terrible shots. I then try to fix it with everything I've ever tried or watched on YT which leads to a different swing on every hole. All it gets me is high scores and much frustration!

Hey Jerome, I really appreciate all the videos and you going thru the pain of finding your perfect swing. What I have learned over the years is make your swing “your own” if you were to put all the swing coaches in one room, you would never achieve your goal as a scratch golfer. Learn the basic principles and fundamentals.
Your swing will never be like “morikawa” or Rory, or even my swing, our bodies aren’t built the same, I’ve watched Freddy for years and wish I could swing a club like that, but my body won’t let this ever happen, you can watch Moe Norman over and over and never come close to his style, but one thing you will learn is like Moe, make it your own swing, with little adjustments and perfect your short game.
Thank you for all your hard work 👍 ⛳️

I have watched a few of your videos and enjoy watching your journey. One piece of advice I would give you is to not obsess over hip rotation, it will come with proper mechanics. You are already hitting the ball a good distance, so focus on cleaning up the basics and getting more comfortable on the course. Once you have that down you can do speed training or whatever if you want to bomb it out there. GL

Needed this video. I have been taking lessons for awhile now, trying to get better at golf. Last week I just focused on slowing down my swing and hitting with rhythm.

When watching this I can relate so much to just relaxing and not overthinking. I was a figure skater for 17 years and was in the top 40 in Canada. The biggest thing in skating was feeling. When you practiced each jump alone till you know the feeling of a good one and can repeat it over and over again you can link it up on a program. I use the same mindset in golf now and has worked very well. At each club, I understand the feeling and the easiest way to hit the ball without trying so hard as the technique means everything. When I would do A lift with my partner she would jump and I would lift but the timing and feel meant everything if that was wrong I would be lifting a 120-pound bag of potatoes over my head and it wasn't easy. The more you relax and feel the technique the less you have to try and the more you can focus on everything else that makes you a better golfer. I have been at the range for a year now and played my first 9 holes a week ago and scored +12 with only losing 3 balls. I learnt a lot and will be getting better but 7,8,9 irons I have the feeling down now it's time for the rest of them.

The best way, I found understand why swing path changes as I modify portions of my set up or backswing is the study the mechanic of my own body part individually. What I’ll do is sit home in the chair. At night after around or after practice hold the golf club and just move over and over so I fully understand what’s happening mechanically with that body part listening to someone is nothing compared to figuring out what your body is doing and how to change it.

About 3 months! And episode number is equal to the number of days I’ve been in the journey. I post every day :)

A few things I would recommend: keep the club head facing the ball on the back swing a little longer, keep the left arm tight to the chest, bend the left knee forward when swinging back. He rolls his hands a little on the back swing. Slower back swing will keep the club facing the ball longer and smooth out his swing.

these tips are the same that took me from a 12 to a 4 handicap...Swinging from the inside literally gave me 30-40 more yards on my driver and made my irons crisp...

your swing looks really good. I've been golfing for 30 years now. And I've only ever played good golf when I've turned my head off. my tip, don't think so much😂.

A great tip I heard someone told me is, “where ever the butt end of your handle is facing on your down swing is the direction the ball is going to go”.

Very good, today I played 18 holes the front nine I was killing everything. I started getting tired and started pulling everything, I’m a lefty so it was going right. This nailed exactly what I was doing. Getting quick in the transition. Very helpful lesson with Chris. I have an idea for you, put a rubber band on your wrist and every time you have a thought other than smooth transition pop your wrist with the rubber band. 🤣🤣🤣

First you have a great swing. Second, one of my instructors introduced me to this swing path correction and the golf swing suddenly clicked for me. I gained a lot of yardage and I don’t slice my irons anymore.

Is your target along the alignment stick ? Just wondering why it’s off to the right ?

I hit smooth on the range but when I get to the course a snatch from the top thinking I need to make the distance or I need to get it further

Another great lesson. Amazing video, thanks man. A suggestion, it's disturbing to only see your upper body or just the ball from the front camera. Please film your whole body and the ball🙏

I think Chris is teaching JR a Tiger/Justin Thomas type swing while Mike was going for a Dustin Johnson/Rory type swing

The way it clicked for me is imagine throwing a baseball or frisbee down your intended line with your trail hand; the weight shift, release, follow through all happens naturally.
Keep abs tight-ish so no reverse weight shift during back swing. Rotate around your spine instead of bend the spine if that makes any sense 😅
