I’m Both Disappointed And Upset With Warner Bros. How Could They Do Such A Thing To Coyote VS ACME & Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical. HOW DARE YOU Warner Bros!!!
Okay, here's one they SHOULD do: a live-action/CGI "Top Cat," with a great character arc: TC starting out as a con artist only out for himself but developing a conscience thanks to plot reasons & evolving into a con artist scamming the bad guys. His cat pack never had much screen time in the series, but a feature would give each of them a moment in the spotlight.(Plus the show had a great theme song!) Not necessarily yet! We have yet to get an official release date for the film, but things look promising as it has all it needs to be publicly released minus that!
If Looney Tunes: The Day the Earth blew gets released,do you think you'll ever do a cartoon evolution on Petunia Pig, or do you think she's too obscure.
I want to see Coyote vs. Acme come out. Warner Bros decided to shelve the movie from being released to obtain a $30 million tax write-down, makers of the project tried to shop the film at different studios, and still no update. We're all hoping any film studio would pick up the movie for distribution because this is like a Who Framed Roger Rabbit type of movie
Speedy Gonzales was going to have his own TV series titled La Familia Gonzales made by the creators of Mucha Lucha in the 2000s, but it never got off the ground.
To a large extent, that's showbusiness. So many people spend ages working on films that are never made, or eventually do get made years later in vastly altered forms with different titles. But now let's all hope that "The Day the Earth Blew Up" is a success that puts the Looney Tunes back in the spotlight where they belong. And I'd like to see something like "Mixed Nutz" one day.
That "Mixed Nuts" show sounded especially interesting to me, mainly cuz I've already been thinking for a while now that WB ought to do some sort of crossover with all the classic cartoon characters they've had the rights to besides Looney Tunes since the 90s. We already got an inkling of that with Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but the odds of Disney and WB every doing that again have been pretty unlikely for the last 35 years. Still, WB has had the rights to Popeye the Sailor, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, the Flintstones, the Jetsons, and many others for a long time now, along with all the classic Cartoon Network shows like Dexter's Lab and the Powerpuff Girls. I've honestly felt they have the potential to make their own animated Cinematic Universe with all of them plus Looney Tunes. Still, a TV show might've worked too. Too bad it never came.
The day when David Zaslav gets fired from Warner Bros. and replaced by someone who isn't a sexist, racist, anti-animation bigot will be a happy one. From what ive heard coyote vs acme still isnt deleted or fully shelved but idk
This is sad Dave
Coyate vs. Acme probably can happen and even a David Zaslav or Plotz styled villain could be the bad guy and president of Warner Brothers.
