One of the things I love about the narration in this game is if you actually read the subtitles the sentences aren't particularly nuanced or complex (or even that funny), but the way the voice actor delivers them makes them sound so much more impactful, interesting and often hilarious
Penny’s acting on the escape pod bucket (35:50 in particular) ending is just.. wow.. The sheer emotion in her voice, she delivered it all so well, I actually almost cried over a *bucket..*

If you had gone back in time and told Penny that she would, one day, become so emotionally distraught over a bucket in a video game, she'd either think you're crazy or admit that she's crazy.
This was good. Very funny. My only criticism is the original had a good mix with mostly funny stuff and a little bit of sad or thoughtful stuff but this is just all funny.
Honestly, I think there's a very good reason for this - the full sad and thoughtful version of new Stanley Parable is basically The Beginner's Guide. Both works are in direct response to the original, and even though TBG is a separate entity, I view them as being both sides of a "follow-up" to the original Stanley.
The re-release is satirical enough to I've the same entertainment value as the original launch, while also having the seriousness the still have standards, unlike most sequels.
