After the stream, Fauna read the comments and was pleased to find that her Saplings enjoyed her play-through of the Stanley Parable. One comment read "My favorite part was when she played around in the Infinite Hole for a long time as if it's one of her karaoke stages" and she was amused that the Sapling tried to sound like the Narrator, but felt conflicted about being told how she was supposed to feel in that moment.

The "Treatise, manifesto." bit was nearly as unhinged as when Gura vacuumed all of the sand in Luigi's Mansion in total silence for over 20 minutes.

As Fauna was breaking the game faster than anyone, the Sapling wondered about the nature of that stream. Was Fauna in the signature gamer mode as she was progressing, or was it her being naturally smart and conscious? What the Sapling had to do as a Sapling to ensure his oshi always has a good time during her streams?
As the Stanley Parable stream ended, the Sapling took the sudden silence in and got in terms with the need to wait for Fauna's next stream. He stood up, stretched, went to his personal Fauna altar, lit the incense, and sat before it, taking the stream's experience to the deepest parts of his soul.
The Sapling was having the best time of his life thanks to a certain kirin. And the Sapling was happy.
My favorite playthrough of Stanley Parable yet! Hope to see you try again and find that last stanlaurine!
Kind of sad the original game references/areas are gone but they added so much to this version that it makes up for it.
I love watching streams of this game! Everyone always gets into it with the narrator somehow and it's fun to see where everyone goes with it. So many more endings for next time too!

Well that stream was one heck of a trip Amazing game I never watch or played before, it was pleasent surprise! And also hilarious, Jim and treatise manifesto are forever embded in my brain now I wouldn't mind seeing more of this game later!

I'd been hoping you'd play this for a while, and it turned out exactly as fun as I'd imagined.
Regarding the rest of the endings and the "true" ending, there's probably still 1-2 hours of stream in it depending on if you're using a guide or looking yourself, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more

Incredible stream for an incredible game, it brought back a real kind of magic to see someone react fresh to all this post-modern insanity. Stanley Parable really hit when meta was at its peak, and I'm kind of done with super meta things now but as an exemplar of that sort of thing, this game stands tall. It's was still tons of fun to watch Fauna's... descent into madness, really. Such a comfy vibe but also she got so into it.

This game was a bit of a fever dream, the narrator spewed a lot of words in a posh accent trying to be clever and Fauna rambled over him, and it all blended together. My brain is soup now, but in the best kind of way. 10/10 Narrative Experience, changed my life. Will you ever go back and find the sixth and final Stanlurine!? The anticipation is unbearable. Thanks for the stream!

Fauna has exactly the right mindset playing this game, just having a lot of fun arguing with and trolling the narrator, really getting into every single gag, it's a real joy to watch. Looking forward to the next stream of it, can't let the Stanlurines stay at 5/6 after all!

I have vague memories of a few of the original endings watching clips of let's players play this back when it first came out (10 years ago ) but it was fun experiencing mostly all new stuff along with you. Especially all the new stuff from the Deluxe edition--I was dying at the narrator getting salty over those Steam reviews and you reacting to that

@Ceres Fauna: To found out the truth if the narrator is just a tap recorder or not, go inside the vent without bucket in the place you found a stanley figurine.
I really do hope Fauna plays more, I’ve watched this VOD at least 5 times, and I am so ready for her to find the other endings!
@Ceres Fauna: The reason why taking picture the narrator does not react, it is because Stanley is a special guess, only if the Exhibit is shown to the public, and not just one person, in the dimension of where Stanley exist, the reason for no screen shot warning is just for a rival company that makes video game that comes and see the exhibit, and take picture to stole the idea. Since Stanley is friend with the Narrator he can't steal the Narrator idea.

Thanks for picking this up! I recall a lot of the girls having played this over a year ago, but you really made it your own. I'm glad you had a lot of fun with the gimmicks. The hole silliness, the two minutes of not skipping (treatise, manifesto...), Jim, and the absolute conviction to the bucket might've been my favorite moments. @Ceres Fauna: When you first heard the broom closet ending without the bucket when the narrator talk about your dead on the key board, he is not talking about you the player, he is talking about the player you are actually playing as, you are playing as the 2nd person, who his playing Stanley parable, but your view is one person view, the same as the 2nd person view, he also view as 1st person. However by the point you reach Stanley parable 2, even thought stanley parable 1 still in exist in Stanley parable 2, once you start stanley parable 2 you are playing as the 4th person, because your playing the 2nd person playing as Stanley that plays Stanley parable 2, but you view is still 1st person from the 4th person.
This is my favorite playthrough of this game I've ever seen. You do so well with these style of games, you play off the narrator really well and enhance the experience so much. Thanks for the stream Jim

I really love this game, i played it myself too a long time ago, apparently there was also a cheat ending, and i even did the baby thing till the end it was also fun, also with a hack.
I also watched it alot with other youbers years ago before vtubers were really a thing, it was most of the time dufferent so it was always fun in a different way.
I want to see you play more of this game, it seemed you had alot of fun playing it. And yes, there's a true ending to it with a credits roll and all, but it's a long one and idk if it was just me, it felt kinda sad.
Also, it seemed i played the older version of this game, i also was at the part where you were in the other games, but the 2014 version you had also Minecraft, and also some other games.
Laugh at Kronii if you want, but she's right. The only real ending is when you close the game and stop playing it. That's the only real choice you can make.
Additionally, while the game frequently talks about coming out in 2013, in reality it first existed as a mod for Half-Life 2 that came out in 2011. While the remakes that have come out since then are of course impressive and still have the same effect on those unfamiliar with the game, back when Mass Effect 3 hadn't even come out and Heavy Rain was being heralded as one of the most innovative games of all time this mod was really in a prime position to blow your mind. Nowadays games like Undertale and Doki Doki Literature Club have permeated the gaming public's consciousness and permanently increased the level of subversiveness and metatextuality we expect from games as medium. Whether this is good or bad is a matter of opinion, but importantly it means that The Stanley Parable just isn't going to hit as hard as it used to. Sort of like how Tim Burton's Batman was considered dark and edgy compared to the Adam West TV show and Superfriends which both defined Batman at the time of it's release, but nowadays might itself be considered silly and campy compared to the gritty edge of Nolan's Batman trilogy or Injustice or many other such depictions of The Caped Crusader that have come since
All that being said, I really love how the New Content forms its own contemporary metacommentary on the gaming industry rather than just repeating the same kind of commentary from the original (which is as you said less surprising to see nowadays with the advent of games like UT and DDLC). It hit me just as hard as the original probably hit people back in 2011/2013, and that’s the mark of a great sequel

One fun fact, the original game instead of Firewatch and Rocket League dropped you into Minecraft and Portal, sadly for reasons they weren't able to keep them in the Ultra Deluxe version. This game is a commentary about how corporate environments obsessively overengineer the fun out of games and give you a sense of defeat, but you managed to make it so fun with all the goofing with the hole and bantering with Narrator!
