- I repair / refurbish the fuel petcock valve on my cafe racer vintage motorcycle. Suzuki makes it easy to repair the fuel cock on the GS550 and other GS models. I also briefly provide information on how to rebuild/repair other gas petcock valves such as those found on Honda CB900 and CB750.

It DOES have sway in the universe, and while your viewers, including myself, are doubtlessly sending positive vibes, I'm confident that your wife will recover before too long (and will likely spend time figuring out cool ways to repay her brother's kindness) :) In the meantime, hang in there cuz you're surely going through a lot of physical and emotional stress yourself. Working on the gs whenever time permits is a good way to get your mind off of the current situation. As for the petcock, mine was leaking so I too replaced all the rubber components (versus parting with $150 for an aftermarket). If you had shown the innards of the vacuum side, there's a metal o-ring thats is NOT supposed to be flat, its purposely designed to have a "yin-yang style" gradient curve (I made the mistake of using a mini-sledge hammer to gently tap it flat thinking I had accidentally twisted it and then had to re-bend it cuz the former leak had turned into a flood...just stating this here incase anyone reads my comment :) And by the way, your videos are NOT too long...they are thorough and provide vital maintenance/repair information (along with value added tips & advice; case in point using #2 gasket sealer for contact with fuel...its not a given that the average teenage salesperson would bother mentioning that to you in a hardware store even if you say you intend to use it on a fuel petcock)... Anything less (in terms of length and instructional quality of the video) would be merely someone showing off their bike... As I said before, this series is gs GOLD, the only one of its kind on you tube... for posterity's sake alone its priceless. One day soon I will likely convert every episode to mp4 and save it on a usb drive :) Best wishes, once again, to you and your family! p.s. we're all cooky that way! lol looking forward to the artsy vid !
