Great to see an ASMR channel in the comments. I've only started 3 months ago with my Cat ASMR channel and I'm still experimenting on what works and what doesn't. Seeing your channel is really motivating!
Starting a TH-cam channel requires a tremendous amount of CONSISTENCY and PASSION. My channel was monetized in less than 3 months. Currently, it has over 24k subscribers.

One of the best things an educational creator can do is be a part of the community. I am within a lot of video editing and animation communities, and so answering questions, I also can learn what are common questions that I need to create videos on. It not only helps people (the most important point), but it allows me to use that to tailor that content around a specific audience.
I made over 500 videos in the past 2 years. Been consistent on my upload schedule but yeah, my channel still not growing that much. I try to do consultant or finding a youtube expert to talk about my channel and still didn't find anyone. Maybe because it's the region where I live in which is Malaysia. Hard to grow here but I will keep on pushing :)
Since I found out about your channel, you have helped my channel out a lot. You give out the best advice. And the community is so supportive. Thanks so much for your help
These ideas are really brilliant. I'm spending more time on twitter, reddit, facebook groups and others answering questions as it relates to TH-cam education for small channels and it really helps with idea generation. Another tool i love to use is competitors channel and TH-cam research tool, they are equally really helpful

Guys, we completely agree that more videos is a proven method of getting more views but how do we do it while staying consistent with quality?? Many a times we hear very contradicting opinion about this.... Its absolutely impossible to churn out videos without compromising on quality. In our case, we are a travel channel and 1 upload/week is what we can do at best. Today we hit an average of 1 upload every 2 weeks but even we if give all we have got 1upload/week is the best we'll be able to do. We see a lot of channels doing 2 or maybe even 3 uploads a week without giving a damn about quality. But we find it very difficult to choose this route. Please advise.. anyone ?? (A bunch of confused/overwhelmed youtubers here)😅😅😅
In some other videos i watched, i don't remember if it was VIDiq or Film booth both I remember them saying making more and more content is better than trying to go for high quality content early on with your TH-cam videos, especially because overtime making the initial videos, you learn different ways of editing and the quality comes overtime. Hope this helped! Sorry if I rambled on a little haha.
At the end of the day, you want people to enjoy your vlogs... and at the same time... you have to keep them hooked up to your videos... Lets say... you are making a vlog on a place A and you have 3 - 4 video series of it... Giving too much gap between the series on A would make your audience lose interest on A... At those situations... you ll have to sacrifice quality... ( Incase you dont have any viewers as of now... then it wont matter... you should probably focus on quality cuz... when the viewers find the video later... they should enjoy the video much...) I dont have a proper conclusion... it depends... whether you want your future viewers to feel good or your current viewers to be hooked up...
I love and fully relate to your question! I have recently realized two things: 1. Done is better than perfect 2. In order to actually be able to stick to Nr. 1 while still keeping a certain quality, working with the "pareto principle" is extremely helpful. In case you haven't heard of it, it basically means that 80% of your job is done within 20% of your total time, while the remaining 20% of the job take 80% of your time. Stick to finishing the 80% within 20% of your time and you'll be a lot faster while upholding a certain quality. I hope it helps!
I would say this really comes down to finding a schedule that works for *you.* Yes more videos = more shots at the target, but if it's coming at a cost of quality then it doesn't make sense to "churn out videos" as you put it. You could spend that time optimizing one killer video that has the potential to go much farther. What works for some channels won't work for others. So if it's causing you headaches trying to "keep up" with other channels, don't. Go at your own pace for now and if the time comes in the future where perhaps you can hire an editor or something, that's when you can consider increasing your production output. Good luck! -Dan
the Self-improvement niche has a lot of topics to talk about. For me, it's just the video editing part that slows me down... since I personally prefer editing my videos, and actually put an effort on making them... I have to make a solution to this soon somehow.
Several times that I've used Daily Ideas from VidIQ, I've gotten ideas of videos I've made already. When I've clicked the button to see videos related to the idea, mine has been there.
More content obviously always helps, but it would be nice if YT wasn't seemingly completely random at what/when they push something. One short I post get 6k views (huge for me). Keep up the shorts every day and get a good couple thousand views, few subs and then I post on the same day, time, same title/description/content and similar thumbnail as the "popular" short and it gets nothing...what's up with that!
Really hard to say with Shorts. Title/Thumbnail aren't nearly as important as the first 1-2 seconds of the video itself. Try to judge your highest performing shorts against your lowest ones. Take an honest look at the strengths and weakness of each. Good luck!

Heyo mates let me tell you, sometimes luck just needs to be on your side. Like TH-cam decided they were randomly going to throw every single bit of content I have on the shorts shelf and the homepage and that gained me like about 100 subs
Question :- i am now 15 years old and when i try to livestream, after short period of time youtube blocks me, then says me you violet our guidelines due to minor. How can i fix it?
Is there any difference between getting video ideas and keyword research I mean i get really complicated so can i take the keyword research or questions people ask on Quora for example and put it as a title can you make a video about this as if you getting video idea check it in on vidiq analysis for search volume and put the title
What i understand that i get some video ideas i take thess questions and start to analyze them on the keyword research on vidiq then i pick up the most curiosity and the most juicy keywords having high score 50+ then make video about it and put the same keyword research in the title right?
Until now i´m full of Ideas and i´m very thankful for all your advice and tips. I appreciate it uand hopefully i can create a friendly community and make this place is little bit better.
