This review felt like a return to form. No vacuum is perfect. There was a clear recommendation in the video (who is it for), a fair and critical look at both the pros and the cons. Overall, it feels a lot more honest when instead of saying ”everything about this robot is great”, you highlight both good and bad areas. I’m not sure the carpet performance moves the needle for me on any robot vacuum because I just don’t think any of them are heavy enough to get good agitation so I don’t really factor that in. Eufy appears to have figured out obstacle avoidance while focusing on detecting that there is an obstacle instead of figuring out what the obstacle is. It's like with self driving cars; there was that accident a while back where the car was confused on whether a bicyclist or pedestrian was in front and unfortunately crashed into them, when it should have understood that there is an obstacle and needed to stop regardless of what was in front.
For those comparing the Eufy S1 Pro and SwitchBot S10, I’ve had both for several weeks. If you have hard floors, these are your only real choices. My Roborock and Ecovacs are not even close to these. Despite my initial excitement and possible bias for the SwitchBot S10, I’d choose the Eufy S1 Pro if I could only have one. Both are excellent, but the Eufy is far more premium in every sense. Its navigation is the best I've ever seen; it avoids getting tangled in curtains without needing virtual walls, unlike the SwitchBot. The Eufy also cleans with ozone, which is crucial for maintaining cleanliness and health. Seriously. The benefits of cleaning with aqueous ozone cannot be overstated. The SwitchBot S10’s unique feature is its empty/refill station that connects to a drain and water line. This excited me until I realized it doesn’t refill or empty its tank at the start and end of runs. And it's made it very difficult to think of a way to add aqueous ozone to the SwitchBot. Also, leaving water in the tank for extended periods of time could cause filtration issues for those with hard water. (To be fair, SwitchBot's customer service is incredibly kind and responsive. They said they are looking into resolving the issue of leaving the tank full between runs in a future firmware update.) Both mop floors phenomenally well, but the Eufy does slightly better with smooth navigation, quiet operation, better waterflow, and an impressive filter that leaves the whole room smelling fresh. The SwitchBot, although almost effective, is louder and bumps into everything. And surprisingly, even though SwitchBot has access to essentially unlimited access to water through its waterline hookups, it only puts the faintest amount of water down even at max water settings. Edge cleaning isn’t perfect on either, but the Eufy is better thanks in no small part due to its roller bar that extends across its body, unlike the SwitchBot’s, which only covers about half. This means the SwitchBot requires more passes, can only do edges in one direction, and the roller is positioned further away from the edge. If Eufy ever adds the ability to connect directly to plumbing (and maybe some devices that it can transport water or power to/from), there would be no reason to ever consider the SwitchBot. But I'm going to keep my eye on SwitchBot because even though their execution is in some ways lacking today, they seem to a unique vision for creative ways to innovate in the future.
I've been a Robotrock fan, but I think this holiday season I am gonna buy the Eufy S1 Pro after tons of research, us our 3000 sqft is all hardwood floor. I really don't care about carpet cleaning.
I'm always nervous when I review a vacuum that Vacuum Wars has also reviewed, lol, but I'm glad to see we completely agree. The obstacle avoidance is incredible. I only have druggable rugs, so I didn't notice the lack of deep cleaning on carpets-good to know! Excellent work, as always.
The ozonated water feature is so incredibly nice. Not only does it completely sanitize your floors, but it also keeps the internals from ever smelling or building up mildew or mold.
Yup. It's amazing not having a dirty water tank that smells horrible. On both my Q Revo and S7 MaxV Ultra the water would smell so bad after a few days that it would make me gag. The S1 however, even after a week of daily mopping, has ZERO bad smells. The ozonator works extremely well, much better than I ever expected it to.
@@carlmakin you have to manually clean the base but it takes a long time to empty the clean water and fill dirty tank . about 7 days so every Friday for me
I've replaced my Dreame L10S Ultra by this Eufy S1 pro. I can confirm that the Eufy doesn't clean carpets as well as the Dreame did, but it is adequate and the Dreame was terrible to my wooden floors with grain. Over months the Dreame caused a layer of dirt on my floor that was disgusting to look at; friends of mine even have this problem on a slightly rough stone floor. The Eufy changed this completely and our floors are finally clean again! The fact that it doesn't perform as well on carpets matters little to us as it still runs multiple times a week and we only have about 10m^2 of carpet. However, I have found that the Eufy doesn't like going underneath black Ikea furniture that 10cm high, but then it navigates much better under our dinner table between the chairs.
My Q Revo and S7 MaxV Ultra did the same thing on my tile floors! I had them doing daily mopping with a double pass, but still after a few months I started noticing a thin dirt layer was developing on my floors. It made them look very dull and dingy. I've had the S1 Pro for a month now and my floors are SO much brighter and clean looking. The difference is truly night and day. I've never been so impressed with a robovac like I have with the S1.
@@Brendon471 were u using cleaning solution? i would add cleaining solution to the clean water tank adn change the mop pads every other day and my floors are still sparkling with the S7 MaxV Ultra at 2x pass. of course if i didnt change the pads super frequwntly, itd prob be a diff story
@@NadeemAhmed-nv2br Yep, used the Roborock floor cleaner and would put far more than they recommend for even better cleaning. I only had one set spare of mop pads, so I’d change them out of every few weeks. It’s so much better with the S1 not having to worry about any of this though.
Thanks for the info, currently have the L10s ultra (in the shop) and was excited to see the one as I have all hard floors. Can you tell me is the on board dirty tank (in the robot) removable ?
Just got mine (first robot vacuum/mop combo) last week. New home and still a lot of construction dust on my mostly tile floor so needed a bit of maintenance already. Super easy in all ways -mapping is easy to use -if it gets clogged it’s easy to unclog - easy to clean tank - easy to change water and remove dirty water (I like the higher station so I don’t need to bend) - and does an amazing job cleaning 10/10 for me
Good for them for going taller for the sake of usability and hopefully more features. It’s not like it takes up any more floor space than a regular vacuum.
Seriously? Are we that lazy nowadays? Between the drive through food and now this, is there any wander why America is obese and sick? Y'all prefer to carry your oxigen tanks everywhere you go over bending down to grab a tank of water once a day?
@@itsm3th3b33 I don't care about the bending over part... I like the smaller footprint. Some of these stations are 80cm wide! So I prefer taller over wider. The not bending over is just a bonus. Also... Isn't anyone who buy a robotic vacuum can be categorized as "lazy" anyways? That's why we not vacuum and mop by ourselves.
@@shane250 Look at the pictures at 3:05 Three tall tank is skinnier but the footprint is exactly the same. Might as well make the tank as wide as the base, to maximize tank volume. 4:00 The only reason they claim for the tall design is to save bending, not footprint.
Ordered both x40 ultra and this S1 pro because we couldn t decide and thanks God we decided to order both because we initially liked the ideea of getting the x40 ultra untill we saw this review . Ended up returning the x40 ultra , it simply cannot compare to the S1 Pro when it comes to mopping . This is simply a no brainer if you don t have carpets in your house , my wife says it mops better than she manually did lol .
after several months of mopping use, if you open up the base station you can see its internal tubing is full of mold. You might want to open up the base station and examine the inside to see which station can keep off mold the best.
I don't think this will be an issue for the S1 Pro because the ozonated water really does work at preventing any bacterial growth. It's the first robovac I've had where even after a week of the dirty water sitting there, it develops ZERO smells. And when I say zero smell, I mean absolutely nothing at all. Not even a hint of bad smells. There's also been no mold spores or anything growing in the water either (and that's both in the base and the onboard dirty water tank). For comparison, my Q Revo's dirty water tank smelled AWFUL after just a few days of sitting there. If it was left there for a week or more it would start growing mold in the tank and the smell was truly nauseating. Never having to deal with this on the S1 has been one of the biggest improvements I've noticed so far.
@@fZionists78 Totally unnecessary on the S1 and overall not a good suggestion for any robovac. Bleach is bad for plastics and can dissolve the piping over time, leading to leaks. I’m telling you, I run the S1 Pro in my house every single day for over a month now and the dirty water tank has absolutely no smell. Not even a little bit. Ozonated water is extremely effective at killing bacteria in the tank and on surfaces that it’s cleaned with.
@@Brendon471 how many vacuum robots are you buying? I'm genuinely asking, are people really replacing those devices like phones, every couple years a new one? I still have the first one I bought 4 years ago, and I don't really see a need to buy a new one.
@@jankoodziej877 Aside from the Q Revo I got last year (and the S8 MaxV Ultra that I bought and returned from Best Buy to try out) this is the only other robovac I’ve bought. I planned on keeping the Q Revo for a few years, but it was doing a terrible job at cleaning and the lack of obstacle avoidance made it more annoying than useful since it always got stuck on things. The cleaning was truly awful too, it started to leave a thin film of dirt all over my floors despite it being scheduled for a daily, double pass of the vacuum/mop with deep water usage and frequent mop pad cleaning. Even with all of that my floors started to look dull and dingy after a few months. Walking barefoot you could just tell the floors weren’t clean. I hated that, so when I saw the S1 for $899 on Kickstarter I backed it immediately. My Q Revo was the same price and the S1 blows it out of the water. My floors feel amazing now. They’re absolutely spotless and I never have to babysit the S1 since it perfectly avoids every obstacle or cable it comes across.
Thanks for the review. This makes me feel better about the Q Revo I just picked up. I’ve been super impressed with that and I’m glad it doesn’t sound like waiting for the S1 to go on sale would’ve been worth it.
this vacuum is basically the perfect thing for my house because i only have one tiny slim carpet, but that's it, so honestly its my fav. the Mopping ability is my main concern
There is no competition when it comes to hard floor cleaning. Just got mine last week for $1400 with extra accessories. This is the best vacuum and best value hands down for anyone with mainly hard floors.
How does it go with rugs I have mostly hard floors but a large rug in dining room and one in living room I was going to order one but the carpet part in this review put me off tbh
My concerns with these base stations is noise. I just don't want to hear a jet engine for hours while it dries. How loud is this unit compared to others like the Narwhal Freo Z Ultra?
I’ve got dreame x40 and the biggest advantage of it for me is tricut brush - I had one run on the floor with pet hair without it and hair was all stuck on the brush. It would be awesome if you could test anti hair tangling features of those robots. Even though this robot seems ideal for me as I have only hard floors I don’t think it would be as low maintenance as my dreame. Also two more advantages for dreame: moving side brush and moving mop pad which I find particularly useful.
Thanks for the review. I have the ability to still get this for backer pricing ($999) but half my apartment is carpet. So I’m debating whether to go for the T30S (currently on sale for $750) or splurge a bit for the X30 ($1400). Not sure I’ll actually get a reply on this but if you see it I’d love to know what you’d pick for a 2/2 with carpet in the bedrooms.
Buy the yeedi M12 pro and save your money, it's basically the dreame x40 ultra for like 1/3 price, I have both, would never waste my money knowing what I know now
Don't buy it, the company lied about their privacy of the products, would not be surprised if their robot vacuums took pictures inside your house that were accessible to other people online. Is this something you want?
Ignore the guy above. This bot doesn't even have a regular camera like other bots nor does it have allow any access to the camera, so those points are moot. Moving on from that, the actual cleaning performance is insanely good. Your floors are literally left spotless and you can really feel the difference when walking barefoot. My previous Q Revo/S7 MaxV Ultra have literally never made my floors feel as clean as the S1 does. And since the obstacle avoidance is so good, it's the first bot I can truly set on a schedule and 100% forget about. It's been vacuuming/mopping my apartment daily for month now and I've never once had to rescue or check on it. I honestly love it so much.
@@Brendon471 Never questioned the performance of the robot at all and I dont care for it, when a company is caught lying about their privacy in the past and doubled down on. If a company lies about the handing of personal customer information you dont care as long as the product is good for you? Very weird thing but you're entitled to your own opinion, I would never do business with a company of their track record when it comes to lying, regardless of if the product was good or not.
Thanks for the review! May I ask what's the hair tangle situation with this vacuum? It seems to be a big selling point for its competitors like Ecovacs x5 or Dreame.
@@yin-yinwang8095 Handles hair tangles no problems, and much easier than on other bots like the S7/S8 MaxV Ultra. It resists most long hair tangles like from my mother/sister, but large amounts of hair do sometimes get wrapped on the sides where they can easily be removed by detaching the ends of the brush bar.
Left a comment below for you. Hair tangles have been no problem for me or my mother/sister whose hair gets everywhere. I actually just checked it and there isn't a single hair wrapped around the brush bar, but there was a few on the ends of the brush. As stated in my other comment though, that's easily removed by just pulling off the ends of the brush bar. Then you just slide the hair off.
@@Brendon471 Great! I thought it might be bad because Eufy didn't market this feature at all. Thank you so much for sharing, it really helps me making the decision!
Want to add 2 points - 1, the biggest headache for us is its claimed very low clearance is not exactly true. We used to use a Roborock S6, and we have done some work to lift our furniture so the S6 will be able to get under them. However many of the furniture pieces that has a bottom tall enough for S6, The S1 Pro does not want to work with. And actually to make it worse, it will actually try to go under it, but somehow in middle of the way it will basically say "no it won't work" and get out. I don't know why is this. 2, there's one rather important feature missing from its app, that it cannot do cleaning which disables mopping and follow a order of rooms. The app allows only one set of "Customize" settings which allows you to set which room to use what cleaning method and then a order of rooms, but that's it. If I set to use the customized setting, it follows the room order but has to do mopping; and if I use "Default", I have a way to disable mopping but it also cannot follow a room ordering.
I think the S1 Pro is perfect for my house since it’s mostly vinyl floor, except for one low-pile carpet. It can also easily vacuum under my 3.75” clearance furniture that is also a pain to use with my Dyson. The only real concern I have is no edge vacuuming/mopping. I read it leaves 1-2 inches off the edge of baseboards, furniture, etc., which is why I was also looking into the Dreame X40. Is this a dealbreaker?
I bought it and it is not inches, maybe an inch or two. Fresh water is better for cleaning too. Others use the old water instead of cleaning the mop while mopping.
You didn't seem to test ladies long hair. This is a big issue for me, since, currently, I have to take my vacuum apart every time I use it due to clumps of tangled long hair. So how easy is it to remove the roller? What maintenance cleaning needs to be done? I'm very surprised that it doesn't remove the dust into a bagless compartment. Someone forgot about that it seems. Did you try it using an alternative detergent, such as a normal floor cleaner, like Cif? As for being cheaper than the competition? I'm finding this about a third more expensive here in the UK at over £1,500 / US$1,945.
Not being able to get to the edge concerns me a bit. Wonder if someone may come up a robot with this mopping system but with the addition of maybe a small spinning pad that can extend to reach the edge.
what's this about a proprietary cleaning solution? does it mean you HAVE to buy their own brand and don't have a choice of using or mixing your own solution?
Great review! Just curious, when you ran the wet spill mopping test did you find any of it getting into the Dustbin since it doesn't turn off the vacuum when it mops?
In my use after the past month I haven't had any liquids get into the dustbin even after I had it clean up two cans off spilled White Claws. The brush bar doesn't directly touch the ground, so liquids don't get sucked in/kicked into the dustbin by the vacuum brush.
there was a robot mop that can came before this and I said this is the future for robot cleaners. This better for hard floors because a mop is cleaner, quieter, doesn't need much battery power while a robot vac on carpet doesn't deep clean the carpet. I'm surprised this Eufy has carpet cleaning, no wonder it fared the weakest.
Hi there, Vacuum Wars : I am buying an upright vacuum mop and I know you haven’t tested this model - the dream H One - I was wondering if you could tell me anything about it ? Have you heard anything in the grapevine ? I know you haven’t tested this product, but I know you have tested the product of Tineco floor one S7 Pro - I have seen your review on this one and I believe you ranked it number one. I know you can’t tell me which one to buy - that’ll be up to me, but I guess I’m asking you if you heard anything about it and if you could give me any of your input on it before I make my mind up. Thank you for your help. PS : you have a great show ! you put out some great information ! Thank you !
@@ghauan I can answer this question for you. We purchased the machine last week and it has no problem going over thresholds, it’s really good at going over those. I’ve had zero issues with this machine, it goes to every room without problems. It’s actually a really good vacuum/mop combo. We are very pleased so far. The mapping is super fast too.
The vacuum and mop work well but only where it can travel to of course. I have tried my very best to like this robot vacuum but it still needs some work. - it does not go under my dining chairs even though it has enough space to fit through the legs - it does not navigate efficiently: it goes over the same route 3-4x, it turns it around in place multiple times trying to figure out how to clean a room - I understand that it cannot mop to the edge of a room near wall or furniture because the mop roller is not to the edge of the vacuum body but I don't understand why eufy decided to not allow it to vacuum up to edge of wall and furniture where dust and hair and debris usually accumulate the most. The rotating brush arms are not even close to furniture or wall edges no matter what setting configuration I've tried. - although it doesn't have a Lidar on top and looks streamlined, it is actually taller than my old roborock s4 so it gets stuck under furniture like my bed I had high hopes for this eufy vacuum. I've tried everything I could and been in constant contact with eufy to troubleshoot it every few days. I really want to like it but unfortunately I think it needs more work so I will have to return it. Sharing with everyone.
During all the Robot Vacuum Wars, we never had too many issues taking out these Eufys. That's not to say these things won't erase some good soldiers on the battlefield.
This vacuum is not meant for liquid spills. It will damage the inside of the machine. This is confirmed directly from Eufy. It is meant for dry stains/spillage only
If you really like this one, you should try the switch bot S-10, the first one to have this roller design and it’s way cheaper than the eufy s1 pro omni
I don't fully get how to dock station mop cleaning feature works - does it require piping for the dirty water and clean refill? or the idea is that the dirty goes into the clean and is purified using the ozone?
We own a muay thai gym, with 2 training areas 12mx16m wide We had a roborock s8 pro ultra that could not bounce its lidar system of anything so left 2 massive uncleaned areas in the center of our puzzle mats. Will this eufy s1 pro have a longer reach with is lidar system since it has had other changes already to its usual design?
Interesting thing I heard on the 3i S10 ultra live QnA (I am still trying to figure out how good this robot is and I think I will risk it and join the kickstarter) - they mentioned 2 things related to eufi - they said that eufy is their client so maybe that means that their robot can achieve similar performance to eufy which would be great. Of course, they didnt specify exactly which parts they manufacture for eufy so it might turn out to be the full robot, it might be just the roller brush :D second thing they mentioned that they i troduced the self washing roller mop design 1 year before eufy in their first gen teyouts of S10 Ultra. So that sounds promising, if we are about to get something that is similar quality to the S1 Pro
So what I'm hearing is that we should wait until the S2 Omni Super Pro Matrix Neo comes out that addresses the carpet issues. /edit, that name is satire, if it wasn't clear enough.
The biggest pro imo is the price. While I love my S8 Pro Ultra and am in need of another robot for my top floor I was turned off of Roborock. The S1 Pro may just do the trick.. plus it could replace mopping as a whole since it's actually washing the floors not wiping them.
Replaced my S7 MaxV Ultra with it and the difference in mopping is literally night and day, which you can immediately feel when walking barefoot. The S7 made the floors feel mostly clean, but the S1 Pro makes them feel absolutely spotless. Zero dirt or grime is left behind.
Can you do a review of the Dirt Devil EV3420 next? (This comment might be a repost because I don't think my first one got through, TH-cam's being stupid.)
Didn’t know what a Switchbot was til I looked it up. Wow, I’d second that review request and thanks for raising! Looks like the age of roller Robo mops is coming. Bye bye cloth dragging!
I got it today. Mop is amazing But carpet cleaning is definitely nothing special and I have a very thin carpet. But it’s off white so stuff shows. Somehow worse vacuuming than the X10 I had. I think it’s because the X10 had bristles for the brush. This is just that rubber bullshit. Please offer an upgrade brush for the vacuum eufy.
Do you still have an X10? If so, could you test if the X10's brush fits in the S1? That might be a possible solution for those with more carpets/rugs that need better cleaning.
I bought a roborok S8 pro and it doesn't clean the grooves in my tile floors well. It does not suck up the garbage that is between the slots well. My question is if this eufy S1 pro cleans the grooves of the ceramic floors well. waiting for your response to see if I buy it
You tell me that you clean the cracks quite well. Do you want decor that makes it perfect then? . My floor is made of full china and the roborot cost me a lot of money and I didn't like it at all because it doesn't clean the cracks well. I mean it doesn't vacuum the cracks well. That's why I was thinking about buying this one. Based on your experience, I think it is worth it.
Not true actually. Replacement parts are already available direct from Eufy. So far they've got the detergent, extra mop rollers, extra side brushes, extra vacuum brushes, dustbin filters, top magnetic covers, and wheels all on their store. I actually can't think of a part that isn't on their store yet.
Wow, Eufy pretty much just showed everyone up. No lidar bump yet still vastly better than VSLAM, an actual active mopping system. Seriously this puts to bed everything Roborock and Roomba have done for the last half decade at least.
Exactly why I dumped the S7 MaxV Ultra and replaced it with the S1 Pro. Had it for a month now and my floors have never been so clean. The ozonator is also amazing... it completely prevents the dirty water tank from ever smelling even after a week of it sitting there with daily mopping being done. Roborock's solution to this was to use a silver ion block in the dirty water tank, but even then it didn't fully prevent smells from cropping up and I would gag every time I had to empty it.
Is the on-board dirty tank removable? Anyone that has a robot mop knows how the waste tank stinks…..if the on board tank is not removable, that’s unforgivable.
Too bad they messed up the carpet performance. Generally that is where most of the robots fall short. I haven't seen the sand test above 90 unless handheld or corded vacuums are used.

They said they are looking into resolving the issue of leaving the tank full between runs in a future firmware update.)
Both mop floors phenomenally well, but the Eufy does slightly better with smooth navigation, quiet operation, better waterflow, and an impressive filter that leaves the whole room smelling fresh.
Thanks so much, and it's great to hear that you are so happy with it!
Finally, a review of this one from a reviewer I trust is not a shill for Eufy. Does look like a great floor mopping vac.
I feel like I’ve missed something, but you have to empty and refill on every use still, right?
How often do you change the mops? I got the same dreame and considering the s1 pro😂
Just got mine (first robot vacuum/mop combo) last week. New home and still a lot of construction dust on my mostly tile floor so needed a bit of maintenance already.
Super easy in all ways
-mapping is easy to use
-if it gets clogged it’s easy to unclog
- easy to clean tank
- easy to change water and remove dirty water (I like the higher station so I don’t need to bend)
- and does an amazing job cleaning
10/10 for me
Great to hear!
I've had it for a few weeks and it has been amazing!
Glad you are happy with it!
Good for them for going taller for the sake of usability and hopefully more features. It’s not like it takes up any more floor space than a regular vacuum.
Good point.
100%
I prefer tall over wide. It's not like I'm going to hang stuff from the ceiling above it.
Seriously? Are we that lazy nowadays?
Between the drive through food and now this, is there any wander why America is obese and sick?
Y'all prefer to carry your oxigen tanks everywhere you go over bending down to grab a tank of water once a day?
@@itsm3th3b33
I don't care about the bending over part...
@@shane250
Look at the pictures at 3:05
Three tall tank is skinnier but the footprint is exactly the same.
We've had the S1 Pro for the pass month, it is a game changer for cleaning hard floors.
That is great to hear!
after several months of mopping use, if you open up the base station you can see its internal tubing is full of mold.
I’d add a few tablespoons of bleach to the water tank irregardless of brand. At least every other month.
They’re absolutely spotless and I never have to babysit the S1 since it perfectly avoids every obstacle or cable it comes across.
been making my life purchases from your channel
Glad to hear you are happy with it!
How does it go with rugs I have mostly hard floors but a large rug in dining room and one in living room
I was going to order one but the carpet part in this review put me off tbh
What about corner and edge cleaning? You failed to address these topics.
My concerns with these base stations is noise. I just don't want to hear a jet engine for hours while it dries. How loud is this unit compared to others like the Narwhal Freo Z Ultra?
This was so helpful. Looking for a first robo vac to take care of floors while continuing to use central vac for carpet.
İm loving the eufy s1 pro since i brought it on kickstarter few tweaks and updates should make it even better
Can you put any cleaning solution in? Or do you have to use Eufys?
Not sure how it would matter but just want to be sure
Thanks for the review. I have the ability to still get this for backer pricing ($999) but half my apartment is carpet. So I’m debating whether to go for the T30S (currently on sale for $750) or splurge a bit for the X30 ($1400). Not sure I’ll actually get a reply on this but if you see it I’d love to know what you’d pick for a 2/2 with carpet in the bedrooms.
Buy the yeedi M12 pro and save your money, it's basically the dreame x40 ultra for like 1/3 price, I have both, would never waste my money knowing what I know now
That floor map looked awesome
finally, a model that is tempting me to change out my 7 year old robot vacuum
I need this vacuum in my life.
Looks alright, but the pricing in the UK is ridiculous. It costs 1500 British pounds bloody hell.
how much flagship roborock cost there in uk now? In Malaysia you could buy a 135cc motorcycle
Thanks for the review! May I ask what's the hair tangle situation with this vacuum? It seems to be a big selling point for its competitors like Ecovacs x5 or Dreame.
That's honestly the biggest hold out for me, as well. If it can't handle hair tangling, it's a deal breaker for me
@@yin-yinwang8095 Handles hair tangles no problems, and much easier than on other bots like the S7/S8 MaxV Ultra.
Want to add 2 points -
1, the biggest headache for us is its claimed very low clearance is not exactly true.
Others use the old water instead of cleaning the mop while mopping.
will you review the switchbot s10?
Yes I've been dying for that review.
I am also curious about this. The SwitchBot is already available for a while now as well
And compare it to this Eufy while you’re at it.
Will you be reviewing the Switchbot S10?
I’ll add: and compare it to this Eufy. I’m interested in seeing the comparison between both roller-mop robots.
This is mind-blowing . Its like the robot version of a Tineco
What about SwitchBot S10’s roller mop? Have you tested it?
I am also curious about this. The SwitchBot is already available for a while now as well
Please do a review on the roborock q5 pro
Do you think it's more quieter then A iRobot j6+ on hard force?
what's this about a proprietary cleaning solution? does it mean you HAVE to buy their own brand and don't have a choice of using or mixing your own solution?
Gotta compare the S1 Pro to the Dreame X40 and the Roborock S8 Max V.
Come back this Friday for our Best Robot Vacuums Mid-2024 video.
Thank you !
How does this perform on thresholds? My current robot mop has a hard time going over those sometimes. Thanks for the review!
This! Too bad they don't test that stuff, it is crucial to know if it can go between rooms. Disappointed that your comment hasn't been answered .
Which robot vac works best on carpet?
The vacuum and mop work well but only where it can travel to of course.
I have tried my very best to like this robot vacuum but it still needs some work.
- it does not go under my dining chairs even though it has enough space to fit through the legs
- it does not navigate efficiently: it goes over the same route 3-4x, it turns it around in place multiple times trying to figure out how to clean a room
- I understand that it cannot mop to the edge of a room near wall or furniture because the mop roller is not to the edge of the vacuum body but I don't understand why eufy decided to not allow it to vacuum up to edge of wall and furniture where dust and hair and debris usually accumulate the most. The rotating brush arms are not even close to furniture or wall edges no matter what setting configuration I've tried.
- although it doesn't have a Lidar on top and looks streamlined, it is actually taller than my old roborock s4 so it gets stuck under furniture like my bed
I had high hopes for this eufy vacuum. I've tried everything I could and been in constant contact with eufy to troubleshoot it every few days. I really want to like it but unfortunately I think it needs more work so I will have to return it. Sharing with everyone.
@vacuumwars I just bought one and I can't get it to vacuum and/or mop near my wall edges. What settings do you use to allow it to do that?
During all the Robot Vacuum Wars, we never had too many issues taking out these Eufys. That's not to say these things won't erase some good soldiers on the battlefield.
My home is 90% wood floor, I am very interested in this, but is it THAT much better then my Roborock S8maV? SOMEONE TALK ME IN TO IT!!!!!
Actually the mop does not lift up 12.7 inches it's actually quite a bit less than that😅
This vacuum is not meant for liquid spills. It will damage the inside of the machine. This is confirmed directly from Eufy. It is meant for dry stains/spillage only
This robot looks incredible!
I am impressed
Glad to hear it!
Out of curiosity, how did the Roomba Combo 10 Max compared to these top 5?

@@VacuumWars thanks so much!
If you really like this one, you should try the switch bot S-10, the first one to have this roller design and it’s way cheaper than the eufy s1 pro omni
I am also curious about this. The SwitchBot is already available for a while now as well
I don't fully get how to dock station mop cleaning feature works - does it require piping for the dirty water and clean refill? or the idea is that the dirty goes into the clean and is purified using the ozone?
We own a muay thai gym, with 2 training areas 12mx16m wide
We had a roborock s8 pro ultra that could not bounce its lidar system of anything so left 2 massive uncleaned areas in the center of our puzzle mats.
Thankssss for the review. ❤
our pleasure 😊
do u find it better then the dyson robot vacuum?
Narwal review please!
Why? It's old news
Can you do bespoke combo? It just releases...
We are waiting for our order to arrive!
Have you gotten the new Shark hydrovac mess master? I'm curious on your thoughts on it
I really wish vacuumwars would review the original Scooba 450 or any scooba series wet mop
What about compared to outside its price range? Is it still the best mopping robot?
Could there be a step climb test? Many houses have small door sills/thresholds which are hard to overcome for most vacuhms.
Oh , I thought this was FINALLY the Eufy mach v1 review
What sort of smart home integration does the eufy Omni S1 Pro have, is it compatible/integrates with apple home/HomeKit?
How is compared to Roborock Qrevo master in terms of corner mopping?
can you review the upright kenmore stick vacuum?
Can you do a review of the Dirt Devil EV3420 next? (This comment might be a repost because I don't think my first one got through, TH-cam's being stupid.)
Switchbot s10 next?
Didn’t know what a Switchbot was til I looked it up. Wow, I’d second that review request and thanks for raising! Looks like the age of roller Robo mops is coming. Bye bye cloth dragging!
I am also curious about this. The SwitchBot is already available for a while now as well
And compare it to this Eufy! Price is much lower than this.
Review the pure clean pucrcx70 please😃
I got it today. Mop is amazing
But carpet cleaning is definitely nothing special and I have a very thin carpet.
This thing would be great for commercial businesses.
We've actually seen the same washing technology with the ilife shinebot
Speaking of the word omni in its name, are you gonna review the Eureka OmniVerse?
The x8 kept losing maps, have they fixed this?
Thank you for this review
No problem 👍
Wow! Thank you!
I bought a roborok S8 pro and it doesn't clean the grooves in my tile floors well. It does not suck up the garbage that is between the slots well. My question is if this eufy S1 pro cleans the grooves of the ceramic floors well. waiting for your response to see if I buy it
we looked at power and crevice pickup at about 04:11 - it did pretty well.
The problem is getting replacement parts unlike with Roomba where you can replace all the parts.
Does his roller mop stink as bad as Switchbot S10 does?
In Europe this model is 1.622 USD. More expensive than the dreame x40 ultra
Good to know!
I only wish Eufy makes it available in white.
Should review the new Samsung Robot! The Bespoke one!
We are waiting for our order to come!
@@VacuumWars yay!!! It looks good actually! But we’ll see if it holds a candle to the X40!
I wonder if the deep clean is a vacuum issue aka roller or a programming issue
Is the on-board dirty tank removable? Anyone that has a robot mop knows how the waste tank stinks…..if the on board tank is not removable, that’s unforgivable.
Too bad they messed up the carpet performance. Generally that is where most of the robots fall short. I haven't seen the sand test above 90 unless handheld or corded vacuums are used.
Man what a bummer. After the first half of the review with it's mop. But that vacuum performance was such a letdown.
