I’ve noticed some issues with edge cleaning along kitchen cabinets, doesn’t follow edge very close. Please comment if you notice or figure out way to counter. Also this thing trample lightweight rugs. Overall experience though solid 8/10 for me.
@VacuumWars -- how does Eufy X10 Pro compare to Roborock Qrevo PRO? which one would you recommend as 1) overall best and 2) best with lots of dog hair?
Although Eufy has caught some flack for privacy concerns in the past, I'll be completely honest, this thing is a beast. It solved all the gripes I had with my Ecovacs X1 Omni. Doesn't get stuck, period. It gets no hair tangles at all, sometimes a small clump of hair, but it's easily pulled off and doesn't accumulate. The mops actually seem to clean rather than just being towed around. The mop lift is fantastic. Also, if the mop water needs cleaned, it won't just error out and not do the cleaning cycle, it'll do just vacuuming if it's supposed to start a scheduled run. They truly thought of everything with this robot and I'm very tempted to buy another for the second floor. If you're okay with the privacy issues and trust that they've fixed their practices... This thing is a buy for sure.
@@rpetty There's a Linus Tech Tips video that dives deep into this issues. The issue was actually around their security cameras and video doorbells, which were advertised as being all local storage, meaning footage and photos weren't supposed to touch any server connected to Eufy and only stored on device. However, I believe it was discovered that the photos were actually being pushed to the server anyways to provide things like push notifications to cellphones when activity was detected, where it provided a screenshot of what the activity was. So essentially they said they weren't storing data on their servers and everything was on device, but it was actually sending photos to their servers for notification purposes. There's questions at that point on whether the data is actually being stored anywhere else, what other data they're collecting, etc. They have issued statements about their plan to restore trust but you still never know what they're doing. To me, it's worth it even if they are keeping data, if data makes the machine better I'm okay with that.
@@rpettyThey collected camera footage, while they said it was only stored locally. And the worst thing was, the data was unencrypted and accessible for others. Then they kept saying they didn't do it, even a long time after it was proven they did. So not only did they not fix the issue, they kept lying about it for a very long time. I wouldn't touch anything eufy with a camera or any personal data. A Eufy vacuüm with a camera, no thanks.
I got this vacuum at launch. It is awesome. I agree with the brush roll that is small. The app however is great, mine does not lag at all. It updates live
Mine definitely lags. It will often not move on the map at all, the vacuum marker will just rotate. I'll have to exit out and open back up the map to get the travel path to load.

Please review the Eufy S1 Pro! It seems like eufy is paying tech reviewers to create ads on it but there are no actual reviews. It seems pretty interesting with the roller mop design but wondering how well the vacuum performs.

Great review, I ordered one and it should arrive next week, most reviews are really good for this one. Was wondering if you plan to test the Ecovacs X2 Omni and the Narwal Freo X Ultra. Also, Dreametech has a new flagship model, the X30.
I just upgraded from an iRobot i8+ to this x10 Omni. It was a MAJOR upgrade in terms of everything. I got this with the $599 offer, so for the price it is definitely worth it! But at its current price, I’d honestly hesitate because Eufy is about to come out with an even better model soon.

Thank you for all your informative videos! I have watched many of them while trying to decide which robot vacuum I want for my first one. I really like all the features of this eufy x10 pro omni, but im hesitant to spend so much money having never tried a robot vacuum before. Do you have any suggestions of a best cheaper option under $500 with good obstacle avoidance? I have a puppy that is still house training and 2 kids that leave their junk around on the floor at times. So good obstacle avoidance is probably my main deciding feature. A self emptying bin would be a close second. A mop would be nice, but not necessary.

Good video, as always. What is your current opinion of the Migo Ascender and all of it's features? Does it sound realistic to you? It's still a kickstarter so there are risks to it, but still wanted to hear your opinion about it.
We are excited to see it and try it. There is tech out now that seemed implausible just five years ago even, so we definitely enjoy having an optimistic "wait and see" attitude.

Would be curious to know how you think Eufy x10 compares to the Roborock Q Revo. I remember in your video for Eufy x9 you felt like the Roborock Q Revo was still the better option and curious if you feel the same in this situation when it comes to the Eufy x10
Hi As usual amazing reviews thanks for that I am now looking for a new robo vac I am super confused on which one to pick, this one , or the roborock qrevo s They are almost same price right now And i care more about mobbing rather than vaccum Because my house doesn't have many carpets I now have the narwal freo, but its app is awful and its vacuuming is really bad, but has amazing mobbing, it makes my floor shine, I am still in the 30 days trial so i was thinking about returning it , and buying of of the above 2 i mentioned What would you recommend Thanks in advance
I pre-ordered one and it seems right after i clicked submit..i saw a commercial for their S1 mach robot vacuum and was like wtf??! . They were busy marketing this as their flagship but then this other robot is supposed to be a worlds first?? I don't get it.. is it just a marketing thing or is the S1 that epic?? The mach lines seems tonbe more about esthetics too..
I hate vacuuming and have been researching robot vacuums for awhile now. Finally decided on this one and have been loving it so far! I finally have clean floors without having to clean them myself all the time!
I thought the same. However it was great for first 2.5 weeks then it started missing areas, acting sporadic, etc. I am returning today before 30 day return window expires on Amazon. Oh well. I had high hopes.
My place is primarily carpet, so mopping is secondary. My other option is the roborock Qmax+ (revo unavailable in UK) Although the Q8 is more focused on vacuuming which would be fine, the object avoidance on this might push me over. I'd love to see a comparison between this and the dual rubber rollers on roborock on carpet. I can't make my mind up whether to spend the extra money for better object avoidance
Can you please include height of the robovacs in your reviews? A lot of these newer ones seem to be getting taller and taller, so they no longer fit under furniture. What is the point of a robovac that cannot clean under objects that a regular vacuum can?
The catch is it is Eufy that belongs to Anker. The same Eufy that has cameras uploaded users footage online unencrypted even though they advertised to not upload anything online, even after everyone found out they still double, triple down on lying and after huge backlash gave out a half-ass sorry statement. That Eufy.
Yeah that doesn’t inspire confidence when this vacuum has a camera on it. Might have to set up some kind of internal firewall so it can’t phone home after getting it set up
Incredibly valid points. Just for that single reason, people shouldn’t support Eufy; but we all know the general public still believes the old “if I have nothing to hide, I don’t need to worry” arguement.
@@Moefongoh and @ducnguyen-in8jy I’m not being snarky at all and genuinely curious what makes this situation so dangerous? Like them denying/hiding it absolutely makes their intentions seem nefarious and for that reason alone i won’t support them bc that’s creepy, but I wonder that the intentions are?
Unless the footage is actually attached to my address in some way, I can't say that I care. I don't walk around naked in front of my vacuum. And nothing I do is that interesting
I can’t ask more from someone doing such thorough testing already. But in the future I hope someone tests these intrusive privacy/data selling devices with a sticker or tape over the camera/s. I’m sure some will operate fine with little to no obstacle avoidance(fine by me), while others won’t work at all.
This is the one I've been waiting for. I think I'm buying this. The S1 Pro is great, but I'll wait for the roller style mops to get better (and cheaper) before jumping on that wagon.
We have had our Eufy for almost a year! We have the dust collector attachment. Our main floor is laminate floors with a few area rugs. We have two cats and a dog. We run the vacuum once or twice a week. We will also use our Shark vacuum to clean furniture and the area rugs, one which is a thick heavy shag rug. With the Eufy, it is essential to clean the brush underneath the machine, which is easy. Simple maintenance by dusting the exterior cover, checking the dust bin, and looking for hair in the wheels, keeps it running good. Every once in awhile, it will complete its cleaning and we will see bits of debris it failed to collect. I would say it gets well over 95% of the debris. The one negative is the air exhaust which blows straight back across the floor rather than up. We will see clumps of pet hair blown by the exhaust into an area just cleaned. Engineers should have figured this out before marketing the product. We also move all small furniture items, plants, and put chairs from our dining table up so it can navigate better. Every once in awhile, when the battery runs low, it needs to dock for a recharge. Sometimes it goes directly to the docking station, and other times it takes longer. To do our main floor, it needs to recharge. We will close the doors to rooms that we do not use so it does not waste time cleaning areas that are not in need of vacuuming. Every so often it will get wedged between the bottom of our sofa that is on a rug. When that happens, Eufy either frees itself or it turns off. Overall we are pleased with the product. Having the dust collection tower is a must. Otherwise I can see how people would forget to empty the dust bin.
I am curious when will reviews for Q revo maxV and pro come. They are comming to eu right now and I am interestes. Also, self refiling and flushing dock with automatic cleaner dosage are nice to have but I am worried for tap water ruining something
Had it for a few weeks with 2 long hair girls in the house. Only had to pull it out a couple times. First one was during first week when it was catching up to not having robot for months. Not perfect but it does keep it in pretty good shape.
I’ve only had mine for 1.5 days, I hadn’t vacuumed or swept in a few days (life got crazy) so there was some tangled hair but it kept going. There are 4 long haired girls including me, we live on a farm, so there is hay leaves everywhere! lol I have a chihuahua, 2 heelers, a husky and a toy Australian shepherd in the house plus 3 inside/outside cats and a pet bird. It kept giving me the clog warning but it still did a great job. The only complaint I have is the streaks from moping, I would love to hear some tricks. I’m just using water.
I got my x10 early so have had plenty of testing. The hair detangling works ok. We have 4 dogs so I clean out the brush weekly. I did purchase the new all rubber brush as we don’t have much carpet and hope that will help. I will say even though the hair gets tangled it still works. I highly recommend the x10 if you get it on sale.
@@andrewa8569 I have this robot for almost 5 months now and I have a large golden retriever. It has no issues with pet hair. I got it for €500 on preorder and it’s worth twice that easily.
So the mapping software which you lauded highly for the Eufy X9 is significantly superior to that of the X10 which you feel is done poorly? Also, the AI.See object recognition is oversensitive on the Eufy X10 but not with the Eufy X9? You didn't report any such issue with the Eufy X9. One of the reasons I felt you were doing a great job is I thought your tests were consistent over different robots, but for several things I noted in this video, I'm now not so sure. So please explain these apparent discrepancies between these Eufy reviews to redeem my faith in your evaluations.
My issue with this robot is the object detection is fairly good, but not quite as good as advertised. For example i have internet cables running along doorways, it never detects the cable, will driver over it, and the cable pulls the mops off. Also i have a rug by the front door, it catches all the leafs from fall, or dirt ect. Its just a simple black rug, very thin, it has a very hard time getting that rug clean...like its worthless for that.
I just got mine this past week, works great lots of features & does really good even with thick carpets & small mats/rugs. Quiet overall, I could mop & sweep but I need to get out the vacuum plug & unplug, then either need mop & bucket or something like Swiffer jet that requires mop pads...if using ordinary mop options thats not disposable that stuff needs washed & dried. Eufy takes care of all of that, I just fill with water & empty dirty water, dust bag will be months before I need to change(live alone). The edge hugging, going under furniture, multipass options, light feature built in really is a huge benefit compared to myself doing these things. I'd walk into a room turn on & off a light, I'd be awhile trying to get under furniture the same or getting the corners of my home that well. The mop is like 100RPM+ as an average person I might make a couple quick passes on the edge, not the same as this eufy robo mop/vac. The robovac returns to base to wash mop pads regularly & the dustbin, it dries heat dries them when done to prevent mold. The amount of water used is also an option in the app. All work as expected. Part of me considers using the robovac being lazy, but I see it cleans much more efficiently & meticulously compared to anything I could do. Even getting on my hands & knees wouldn't compare, only difference being is if you have something caked onto the floor & needed to scrub. The roller brush has anti tangle feature, but it did still catch a few long strands...no issues with it, but I did remove it. Very simple with this roller to remove, just 2 tabs. Everything about the vacuum is simple to maintain.
I recently got the l60 ses. It's hair cutter is nothing more than a gimmick. It doesn't cut anything if the hair is tightly tangled. Which is what always happens with long hair and pet hair on carpets.
What happened to Irobot aren't they even trying anymore. They owned the robot vacuum world and it pulling away from them. On Amazon this was once under $600 after coupon. I don't want to abound Roomba because it simply is a tank and doesn't want to die my 595 still going.
Bought one... but mine is super dumb. It gets lost a lot. Needs a remap when i change something in the house. Does not clean the sides verry well (yes i am aware of this setting for mopping). My old roborock s55 leaves the room way cleaner than this dumb ... Not happy. Going to check out the qrevo series. I have the feeling the software from roborock is way better than eufy
It's between this and a L60. Majority of the floor surfaces I have are tiles and I have a dog and a gf with long hair..so the L60 with the cutting dial works for me but this robot has so much stuff on it for my dog dribble too hahah
Our Eufy cameras were…okay. Some worked decent, half were useless as a “smart” camera. When we complained about the obviously defective camera we got the standard “have you tried” response…twice. The app works but it is slow and clunky to use. Not terrible, but very time consuming to delete footage. In Eufy’s defense, big brother is controlling the affordable security camera market. Companies like Ring are subsidized by the surveillance state. In deed, “keep an eye on the reviews.” Excellent advice.
Is the edge-hugging option only available in mopping mode or can it also do that twist manoeuvre when vacuuming carpets? I ask because I schedule my robot vacuum (currently an Ecovacs T8 AIVI) to clean certain rooms every day and on those rooms I find that the initial edge clean repeated every single day with the robot following the same path to hug the walls means that I get tram line patterns on the outside edges of the carpets where the wheels are as the robot hugs the walls and "crop circle" patterns in each corner when it does it's 90 degree turns. I'm thinking that with the not perfectly round shape of the X10 pro that might solve the "crop circle" issue since it presumably backs out of a corner just a bit to turn rather than spinning perfectly around its centre and for the tram lines if it is possible to set it to wall-hug I very much doubt that it would do its twists in exactly the same places every day where even 1 or 2 cm ov variance from day to day might smear out any tram lines and make them less visible. The issue is something that I've learned to live with, I just ignore the patterns around the edges of my carpets, but it would be nice if they didn't happen at all.
shame about the app. Same issue with Ecovacs in my experience. Solid hardware. unpolished software. Def glad to see competition at a cheaper price point though.
Mine is realmi robot vacuum much worst with software. Sometimes it will go vacuum same place. I got it cheap though and realmi no longer produce a better version. So sparepart is hard to find
one has to be completely clueless to buy any Eufy product equipped with a camera in 2024, after they lied to their customers about their home cameras security, and only "came clean" a year ago

And i care more about mobbing rather than vaccum Because my house doesn't have many carpets
I now have the narwal freo, but its app is awful and its vacuuming is really bad, but has amazing mobbing, it makes my floor shine,
I am still in the 30 days trial so i was thinking about returning it , and buying of of the above 2 i mentioned
What would you recommend
Thanks in advance
Can you review this robot again with the rubber brush they now sell for it?
where to get it?
Can you use cleaning detergents for the mopping? Or just water?
can you access the front camera through the app?
No
What do you do with more than one level in your home? I’m thinking about getting one and clearly I don’t want to buy 2 😅
@Vacuum Wars hi! I just bought this, coming from a Neato D7 and D6, should I worry about the suction power in general? Thank you!
With the updated sensors, do you think mirrors still pose a problem?
Torn between this and the deebot t30s. Any recommendation?
I pre-ordered one and it seems right after i clicked submit..i saw a commercial for their S1 mach robot vacuum and was like wtf??!
. They were busy marketing this as their flagship but then this other robot is supposed to be a worlds first?? I don't get it.. is it just a marketing thing or is the S1 that epic?? The mach lines seems tonbe more about esthetics too..
Hi, thanks for the great review! Does this model have a floor grain setting for mopping?
I hate vacuuming and have been researching robot vacuums for awhile now. Finally decided on this one and have been loving it so far! I finally have clean floors without having to clean them myself all the time!
So glad you are happy with it!
I thought the same. However it was great for first 2.5 weeks then it started missing areas, acting sporadic, etc. I am returning today before 30 day return window expires on Amazon. Oh well. I had high hopes.
My place is primarily carpet, so mopping is secondary. My other option is the roborock Qmax+ (revo unavailable in UK)
Although the Q8 is more focused on vacuuming which would be fine, the object avoidance on this might push me over. I'd love to see a comparison between this and the dual rubber rollers on roborock on carpet.
I can't make my mind up whether to spend the extra money for better object avoidance
are you doing a reveiw for the deboot x2 omni?
Can you please include height of the robovacs in your reviews? A lot of these newer ones seem to be getting taller and taller, so they no longer fit under furniture. What is the point of a robovac that cannot clean under objects that a regular vacuum can?
eufy X10 Pro OMNI Minimum Height and Width Restrictions (Under/Space Around Furniture): 13 cm / 35 cm.
Can i do multiple floors in the house, like downstairs and upstairs? Do you need to move the basestation?
I really want to know this too. Can anyone share please?
Would you recommend this vacuum over the dreame l20?
Just bought one for the Eufy Amazon sale! Is this the best vacuum for all its tech for under $600 with taxes and shipping?! 😮
With the current prices thst Roborock is handling, I think i am going to change brand, this eufy feel like a decent performer
Hi this one looks promising in future.. i have questions is Eufy 8x better than new model L60 ?
The L 60 is better than the X8
This one or the dreame L10s ultra?
dream is better. after using the x10 omni for a while ive come to realize its pretty useless. it simply doesnt pick up hardly any dirt
Might have to set up some kind of internal firewall so it can’t phone home after getting it set up
They literally have a security certification saying that doesn't happen anymore. Give it a rest.
Did you end up getting it? If so, do you recommend it?
Very cool video!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for sharing!
which eufy?
Can you/do you use anything except only water in the clean water tank?
Why the eufy x10 Pro Omni isnt in ur top tier list? :)
Will we get dyson 360 vis nav test?
We are finishing our review of the Dyson Vis Nav 360 today! Come back tomorrow at 4PM EST for our full review!

When comes the Review of the eufy s1 ?
he doesn't accept free products anymore so likely not until it officially releases
Xiaomi X20+ , can you compare this with budget Robot Vacuums
How does it compare to the dreametech 10 ultra?
@VacuumWars: is it better than the q revo? :)
I am curious when will reviews for Q revo maxV and pro come. They are comming to eu right now and I am interestes. Also, self refiling and flushing dock with automatic cleaner dosage are nice to have but I am worried for tap water ruining something
So the new Roborocks aren't available in the US yet, so we don't have ours to review at this time. Hopefully those will come out soon.
Dreame L10 Prime?
How does it compare to Robostuck S7 maxv? Can’t find a good comparison between them
We have not done a comparison of those, but in our Top Picks competition, the X10 came out ahead: vacuumwars.com/best-vacuum-cleaners/robot-vacuums/
Thank you so much for fast reply. I was also looking at l20 Dreame one, but as I see x10 also beat the l20 model
In the UK with the prime sales, the X10 and the Roborock S7 Max ultra are being sold at the same price, anyone have any opinions on which is better?
How about hair detangling? I heard people complaining about this
Had it for a few weeks with 2 long hair girls in the house.
Where it could be purchased in india?
Why no hair tangle test or chapter? Usually in all of your reviews but not here 🤔
he didnt want to lose eufy as a sponser. u can tell he went super easy on them in the video if u have used this product. this is a c or d class vacuum
@@andrewa8569 I have this robot for almost 5 months now and I have a large golden retriever. It has no issues with pet hair. I got it for €500 on preorder and it’s worth twice that easily.
No hair tangle test?
IT doesn't to well with hair tangles but still pickups hair very well.
An amazing product. I will make a video on it
Can you please review ecovacs deebot x2 Omni please
Very good review.
Thanks!
Its just a simple black rug, very thin, it has a very hard time getting that rug clean...like its worthless for that.
can you please test manual vacuums
Is it better than RR Q Revo???? Please tell me this anyone..
In my opinion the x10 is definitely better than the qrevo
Too bad they didn't integrate the tangled hair cutter like in L60 SES. Then this would be a completed work :)
I recently got the l60 ses. It's hair cutter is nothing more than a gimmick. It doesn't cut anything if the hair is tightly tangled. Which is what always happens with long hair and pet hair on carpets.
What about noise?
This or the Q Revo?
This
@@Juddanator16 why do ya say so?
Stuck between this and the dreame ls10 ultra
Make a vid about iRobot’s new Roomba Essential!
It's between this and a L60.
Majority of the floor surfaces I have are tiles and I have a dog and a gf with long hair..so the L60 with the cutting dial works for me but this robot has so much stuff on it for my dog dribble too hahah
S1 pro pleaseee
We are working on that review right now and expect to release it this Friday. Thank you for asking!
@@VacuumWars thank you!
This vacuum is very well made, on par with Xiaomi, Roborock, dreame, etc. and better than the Ecovacs....just wish it had a bagless dust bin 😞
It's good to see the Robot Industrial Complex making cheaper war machines. These are easier to destroy out in the feild vs the superior IRobots.
Honestly, the app is totally fine. It's not like you need to be on app whole day. I've been using for a week just fine.
App is solid. Has improvements to be made but that delay he showed is not my experience. Real time on my network it’s pretty smooth.
FFW is a movement
