If you’re in the market for shocks, purchase without the reservoir or go with something else. I’ve gone through two sets, both of them had the cables discolor (rust) within a few months. My bike is garage kept and not left in the elements. Trust me, if you work hard for your cash, you do not want to spend it on these shocks. Oh yeah, and Harley and Ohlins told me to kick rocks…

That was a fun video! Thank you. Wanting to add another bike next year and the SE Ohlins looks like a good buy. As mentioned below, let us know what you put on the front end.

Are the SE Öhlins the same length as the stock shock?

So I'm assuming this will be a suspension upgrade over the 24 Glide suspension...? I was under the impression the 24's have much better suspension than other years. In any case what is the PN# for that kit ...? Thanks

Aren’t shock bolts supposed to be tightened to a specific ft lbs?

You mean better than Gudentight? Good call, I've got a torque wrench now and have since torqued them. I think the manual said 63-70 ft lbs. Cheers

Just got a set off a dude for $1k. He used for 2k miles then went to dirty air.
    Gonna toss em on today.
Man.. when u said “don’t cross thread”..
Bro that word strikes fear 😧 into the hearts of many men.
I’m always stupid careful about that bc the couple times I was stupid and started a fastener with a screw gun that wasn’t tapered at the beginning of the thread …. Few turns in and oh no 😮

Yeah i'm notorious for cross threading and stripping the head. I'm overly careful Meow. I just did a video on my Sawicki exhaust and started to strip my floor board bolt. SMH. Cheers and thanks for watching.
