Another solid install vid. My dealer has a set behind the counter. Like you, been a little hesitant, probably won't get the full benefit on my '21 UL. But given the way we like to twist the throttle and if there's a noticeable difference ...and they do look cool, well, I gotta start '22 off right! I have 22 road glide,i took the stock shocks off and i put the screaming eagle ohlins shocks on my bike,best shocks i have ever had i won't be disappointed.

Like the quick detach bags , but no so for Luggage tourpak , would’ve been a good time to add the quick detach brackets . Love the video !

I typically run progressive on my personal bikes. I’ve been lookin to try some new stuff out though, idk 🤷🏼♂️
the cartridge is compression. the rebound is on the bottom of the shock

I have the same scissor lift as you. I blew mine up by turning that handle to fast. Such a shame. I really liked it.
They are so convenient! But I’ve actually upgraded to Handy Lifts since this video was made. They are awesome

I like your instructional videos, very easy to follow. I would like to upgrade my '99 FLHR's suspension, but not sure what brand is the best to go with. Need to start my research.
Suspension is tricky. There are so many options, and everyone claims to be the best. I installed the Drag Specialties adjustable shocks on a good friends 05 FLH and they were a great budget friendly shock, but you definitely get more technical as the price tag increases 😬 thanks for watching though! If you have any questions I’ll offer whatever help I can.
Compared to stock; pretty much anything is better. Avoid the eBay/Amazon “specials” though.

And t have the legends and had a leak isysent them back and the sent me a rebuilt one or both of them had been rebuilt and thoses are discolored like a purple on top where you mount them very disappointed in legends may have to change brand but money tight right now
Did u put a washer on the inside of the bottom shock bolt
If I remember correctly, there was a washer that went in between the spacer and the swing arm. It’s been so long though I can’t say for sure. Just went off what the instructions listed
If I buy a bagger, why would I want this? If I buy them, do I give up touring comfort? Is it like lowering a car where you feel every bump in the road? Or like a softail?
Big name suspension is the exact opposite of that. To be honest, OEM Harley suspension is terrible. It soaks up the bumps in the road so much better than OEM. It also provides better handling and response

Not directly, but he has multiple Harley’s, and runs Ohlins on everything he has. So I’m assuming it’s the quality he expects from the suspension

What’s the difference from purchasing the same set up straight from ohlins rather than getting the HD branded set up?
I think the only difference really is it comes with touring model specific mounts, a set of Harley instructions, and the SE Branding
The Harley version comes with brackets for the remote resiviour. Before these you had to mount them however you could figure it out. A lot of the time it would be in place of your accessory bracket on the back.
The SE Harley branded ones come with a generic spring rate. The Ohlins version comes with a spring rate determined by rider weight and luggage etc.

Not yet! Just the softail models for now. But I’d bet within the next 5 years you see it on the bagger 😬

I’m sorry but there is no reason why you have to pay 20k plus for a motorcycle and get subpar shocks that is absurd. Harley if you are going to charge these outrages prices at least upgrade on thing like better handle bars, better shocks and better seat. Shame on Harley.
