Excellent video! I've also found that gsync/freesync make a huge difference to sim racing! I don't think I could now go back to 60hz, or enjoy racing without monitor sync. Keep up the good work. 😁
That's a good point CKW. Now GSync & FreeSync have better compatibility it factors into the equation in a much bigger way than before. And, for that matter, ultrawide monitors have become a much better proposition since I med the vide as well. Always lots to think about!

Great video Chris! About to pick up my triples (sold my 49" super ultrawide) as I've always wanted to try out triples for sim racing. Your video has helped heaps! Really anticipating picking up my new monitors! 😁
9:20: Isn't there a misunderstanding by saying "my monitors were set to 50°", but then putting that value (180°-50° = 130°) in the FOV setting instead of the "Angle between center and screen monitors" setting where it belongs to ?
Good info mate. I'm building my triple screen set at the mo, Just saving up for a 1080 ti, which is taking ages due to me spending all my spare cash at the le man classic this year.
When i had triple screens back in the day there were no fisheye distortion fixes in the game menus or otherwise, so everything was stretched horizontally the further it got away from the center monitor. Wrapping the screens around you only made this effect worse. This fisheye distortion looked appropriate if you kept your monitors in a straight line in front of you so that's how we played. If they've since corrected this and let you wrap your monitors around you with no horizontal stretching then I need to dust off my other two monitors again.
Have you ever tried TrackIR with triples? I wonder if you end up with motion sickness issues due to the way the picture is distorted to fit the three screens. I must admit, it's not something I've spent that much time looking at - but as I said, my dad swears by it!
Not sure trip screen would work well with TrackIR, probably because as you move your head to look sideways the image will move too. WIth a single monitor you get intuitively used to movig your head and keeping your eyes forward. It feels really odd for a while, but it becomes normal quickly. TrackIR 5 is the best one as it has the highest refresh rate and is 6DOF. So go and distract your dad, nick his gear and try it out :D Here is one I did ealrier: th-cam.com/video/PXe-uImbjKc/w-d-xo.html (different account).
You mentioned you chose the GTomega triple stand and had no issues. Well, you must have been lucky as I bought the same stand and had some very serious issues. You know the centre arm that joins the two legs and is the weight bearing support for the centre monitor? That was a piece of junk. Can you believe in my box that two of the three pieces didn’t even fit together! Also, there were a few pieces missing. I even sent them pictures of exactly what the problems were that I was encountering. I wanted GTomega to just send me the parts that didn’t fit together and the missing pieces in the package. THEY WOULDN'T DO THAT!!! They wanted me to ship EVERYTHING back to them. I’d have to re-box everything and pay shipping & handling. I was so pissed with them I told them I’m just going to throw the whole piece of crap in the garbage and unfortunately take this as a loss, which was about $320 CDN. I ended up ordering a triple monitor stand from Sim Lab......very well designed, super solid, and overall a total level above the GTomega stand. I can’t speak about any of the other GTomega products, BUT definitely stay away from their triple monitor stand. I’ll never order anything from them again.
My only question is that the angle shown at 8:24 is clearly more than 90 degrees, so when you say your angle is 50, are you measuring that flush with the center monitor, because that is not at all how it is diagrammed on this video. In other words, if my monitors are angled at 120 degrees as the picture shows with "A", then you are saying your measurement is 180-120=60 degrees?
My 3080 ti have three display ports and one hdmi, I currently have two monitors operating at qhd and valve index taking those ports, I tried connecting extra monitor with hdmi but Windows does not detect it. I consider retiring two of my monitors to get two extra copies of my main one, I wonder if I can use some sort of usb hub to drive all three AND index via display port, or will I have to employ switching shenanigans to either use triples or VR? I kinda want the best of both worlds.
I'm in the process of planning my first custom built PC (assuming GPU's ever exist at MSRP again) and one of the last things I'm looking at is what it would take to do something like this and if my rig could handle it. Thanks for dropping your GPU card spec and port configuration. If a GTX 1080 can take it, I'm sure a GTX 3060 Ti or 3070 should handle it fine (I hope).
Using a headtracker (not eye tracker!) is another great option to use with a single screen setup. I only use trackir or my rift. No need to throw money into 2 extra monitors + high end graphic card. Running all my sims in qhd @ stable 60 fps with a 980ti.
Thanks, Chris, for the fantastic sim racing tutorial video!...QUESTION: For the beginner sim racing enthusiast, what is the recommended graphics card for 4K triple monitor setup?
Great video Chris. Very informative and will certainly help me to get my setup up and running. I am still debating 27" vs 32" 1440p monitors. The 32" would be VA panels while the 27" would be IPS. The 27 have to sit just after my wheel, while the 32 can be behind the wheelbase in order to obtain a 180 FoV. Have you been able to test both 27 and 32 to compare the 1:1 rendering?
Is that a mistake when you say your monitor angle is 50 degrees so you minus 50 from 180? You have 45 for angle and 130 for field of view in your screenshot?
Brilliant Chris! I’ve just got my fanatec and pc system just for iracing and this is so much clearer than other youtubers trying to explain it to a dumbass like me 😂👍🏻
i got triple 240hz monitors, all i need is a wheel now! cant wait to get one. i have so many racing games but its so boring to play with kb/controller.
Hey Raging Beard - to be honest, I feel the same way. But, as you say some titles don't really support VR all that well (or at all). VR is still my go-to!
Yeah, tried triple, it's cool, a nice step up from a standard single display. But VR is on a whole other level! Really excited to see what 2nd gen VR brings, better res with better FoV, gonna be even sweeter.
Chris! Question for you: if I (should I?) overlap the bezel of the outside 2 screens so that effectively I only lose 1 bezel width of picture instead of 2, how do I compensate in iracing / asseto Corsa in the settings?
basically if you dont have the most powerful gpu in the world a 21:9 1440p 120 or 144hz is the best option, but if u are on a budget three cheap 1600x900 75hz monitors are a go
Hello man, nice vid! Can you explain me how did you connect all of your 2 monitors so that they can be switched on? Through an HDMI of only one PC or you have 3 different PCs??
Thanks for the video. Is there a rule of thumb as to how many degrees A should be? 8:29 Is it preferable to have the monitors in like a 90 degree orientation (closer to the face) or something?
For those Struggling to Mix and Match with NVidia Surround - i.e. getting 1024x786 as the only option across all 3 screens! Download CRU custom Resolution Utility - Add a uniform 'Standard Resolution' slot to the screen causing the trouble / make sure they all match. i.e. a 2560x1440 won't play with a 1080p screen until you add this 1920*1080 60hz Standard Resolution to its options. You can likely overclock your 1080p screens to 75hz at the same time if you have good cables - this *can* fry your screens though because they do draw more current.
at 9:10 you say iracing does its measurements backwards so you put 130 into the box? it looks like thats your FOV at 130 and your angles were 45 not 50. can you clarify this? confused alright!
For Guys with 3 Screens but different resulutions it is a real pain to setup with Nvidia surround. With the AMD Eyefinity it was possible. A option that works for me, is to run the games in windowed mode, with the resolution set as a custom resolution in the Video.ini or what ever the file is called. The trick is to use the Programm Borderless Gaming which scaless the Window to full Screen even though your running windowed mode. Hope i could help someone having the same problem :)
@@Muttchismo yes, my Setup is excatly Like that. You need to Setup your vertical resolution according to the highest resolution in this direction. In my case 1080 even though the two outers only have 1050. This leads to a bit of a cropped Image. The upper or lowermost part of the image on the smaller outer monitors will be missing. The other Option would be to reduce the Resolution of the middle large monitor which looks awful in my optinion.
Is a Four-Monitor Array doable? I fly open cockpit WW1 aviation sims in VR but the headset causes eye strain. I've seen three-monitor setups (like yours) where a center monitor shows the view ahead and a second and third monitors angled back on the sides show the view to either side; blended to merge when you rotate your head to look around with a head tracker like Track IR. I've also seen four-monitor setups with one at top center, but only used to display the desktop; not the sim. QUESTIONS Is it possible to assign a fourth monitor (above the center monitor and angled back) to show an overhead view of the sky in an "open cockpit" aviation simulation? Will the "wrap around" setting for three multiple monitors also see a fourth one (atop center) as "extra real estate" on which the range of the game image can be extended? I'd like to build an array that will do that. Any info?
Why does everyone forget about ultrawide monitors. I race on a single 21:9 ultrawide and is a good balance of immersion and compact setup easy to drive. You can even get wider curved ultrawides these days.
@@skippychurch2965 of course not. But the average persons setup would probably struggle to run three monitors at decent fps. An ultrawide is a happy medium between the two.
@@skippychurch2965 I now use the ultrawide in the middle with two 1080p on the sides. Best of both worlds. Wider centre screen with more peripheral vision.
3:15 Yea it is crazy seen people go for 4k and 1440p tbh i dont really see the point of going above 1080p id rather look at a slightly unnoticeable lower res image than gettin a stutterfest at 1440p or melting a gpu tryin to run 3 4k monitors at 30fps people say 1080p at 27inchs is too low res and then they have like 65-75" tv's in 4k thats actually less pixels per screen size than a 27" monitor a couple years ago i went from 1080p to 4k gaming and was excited to get on my games until i got ingame and then couldnt actually notice a difference..it also destroyed my fps so i ended up selling it couple months later worst tech purchase ever
This is an old video but i avoid surround like fire, takes forever to set it up and swap between single 144hz and triple in surround mode. I assign profiles in monitor switcher and use in game options to adjust, even if it means changing setting files.
hi chris, i dont know if you get asked with this question frequently. Considering I have already put the correct measurements in the in-game settings of the triple screen, how do I know I'm sitting in the correct position? My problem is that even if I have put the correct measurements, it seems like I'm seated far away, like when i look at the center console (aircon, head unit) they seem to be farther than how I imagine them should be. I have tried matching the size of the virtual hand to mine but it seems I'm still too far away. However when I move the seat forward, I lose the passenger wing mirror and I dont think that's wrong either because I see in videos that 3x27" monitors will give you a perfect FOV with both mirrors visible. If it helps, my setup is 3x27" monitors as well and my eyes are 600mm away from the center monitor.
Hi Chris, great video. But I have a question, maybe you can help me. I want to go to 3 monitors using an LG 34 ultrawide GL750 and others two 27 LG GL750. Is same model but the biggest is ultrawide and the 27 are not. All is 1080p, and same height size. Do you think this is going to work with nvidia surround? I have a rtx 3080. I hope you can help me, thank you!
Great Guide. I am VR at the moment, however I need to get a new PC. Been thinking about triple screen. Mich appreciated, Thanks for sharing your experience
Yes that is possible. More and more people are now starting to add 2 Samsung G7's to their G9. But any monitor would work with 16:9. I was thinking about such setup (I have the CRG9 49"). But the FOV is quite narrow in height. And quite a lot of pixels to generate for my rtx 3080. So now looking into 3x 32" screens 1440p
The image seems to angle down as it hits the side screens; is this what your on-screen comment addressed? I was thinking you'd have to rotate those screens but then you'd lose their continuity with the one in the center. Also, what of console gamers? Is it true three consoles and game copies are required?
Thanks to you im also going to setup a racing rig, im an ex moba gamer so refresh rate and response time mean alot to me so im going 1080. Can you advise? Will 1080 328nch be too blocky? 1080 27inch the way to go?
Dear Chris, i wanna go for a triple monitor setup with AOC CQ32G1 monitors with the Rseat RS1 and the Fanatec DD PS4 wheel base, dont know what is the best option the big Rseat floor stand or the smaller one or other brand if there are better options, i want to place the monitors as close as possible to my rig with the bottom of the monitor above the wheel base?
hi chris, thanks for the detailed video. Now i have a few questions but first ill explain MY situation. my set up will be in my pc room and on that same set up ill be playing shooters and sim racing. 1. if i set my 3 screens to be one big screen, will i be able just play on one screen ( the middle one) when i play shooters by just shutting down the 2 side screens? or will i have to go in the nvidia setting pannel everytime i want to switch frome triple screen sim racing to one screen first person shooter? 2. also i was thinking going for 2x26.3 screen as my actual screen has that size.. do you think its way too small or is it ok? thanks a lot
Hello! Congratulations...clear information! However I appreciate your comment about freesinc vs gsinc. Considering the recent compatibility do you consider a good option to use freesinc monitors with Assento Corse, Iracing, DirtRally and similar software? Thanks. Antônio
Glad you made this Chris, I've been using the Rift for almost a year now and I love it, however for the last month or so I have been think of doing a 3x32" @1080p triple screen setup as well. If I could ask just 1 question; I know you probably answered this in the video but numbers confuse me lol so in simple terms...is it easier on the GPU to run triples as opposed to VR or is it about the same? Thanks buddy.
Hey MrPflynhi - good question. I don't know for sure, but my gut feeling is that 3x 1080p screens is a bit kinder on the GPU than the current generation of VR headsets. I've not done any back to back testing, so don't take my answer as gospel!
Very valid point there. It's something that could/should be tested for your viewers, as I have yet to see any Sim-Racer cover this rather controversial topic.
I agree Dan. Would love to see this covered, but I've not got any 1080p monitors on hand at the moment. I get similar framerates with my Rift to the 3x QHD monitors, so I'm extrapolating that 1080p triples should be less resource intensive. Would be keen to see just how much difference it makes.
That's unfortunate, but ho-hum. Not the end of the world. Perhaps a collaboration with someone who has a 3x1080p just for those of us that are in the middle-tier market (including those of us in the bottom tier (sub 3x32") market)
What should be considered between the performance of triples vs. VR, is that in order to get a smooth picture relative to each, 60fps is more than acceptable for triples, where VR really does need 90fps. So while triples might be just as demanding, that extra 30fps is the difference-maker as a lot of situations in VR are going to fall between that 60-90 range, which is where either asynchronous timewarp or reprojection kicks in and halves the refresh rate to 45 in VR.
Hi Chris, I'm currently researching for the best budget rig and comparing various vision arrangements. Great vid, thank you. At about minute 1 you say "increased immersion comes at the cost of performance" - by performance, you mean "you're going to need a more powerful video card"...correct?
Does using The Oculus have any affect on gameplay? I have PSVR and although it does amaze me sitting in a car and looking around in VR, the racing in VR feels horrible in GT Sport in my opinion as the cars seem to have a “floaty” feel. It the actual physics are better playing on a TV so I never use the VR for Gran Turismo Sport. (This may just be Gran Turismo, I think it’s like this to cater for people with motion sickness)
@@BL00MYB0Y i have oculus rift cv1. its amazing on Assetto Corsa ! but i want better headsetlike valve index or pimax. andi want triples also. love the sim world! I have a trakracer tr8 mach 3 rig and t300rs alcantera with t3pa pro add on pedals
How do I find out what the ideal angle for the side monitors will be? Is it different for sim racing than for general gaming with triple screens in something like Horizon Zero Dawn?
Are your screens edge to edge? Or does the middle sit forward the others? I’m curious how this affects nvidia surround. Considering the bezel widths are unequal I’m wondering if I should set it up with half of the bezel width.
Chris, do you recommend when setting up 1 or 3 monitors, to have the bottom of the monitors be behind and lower than the racing wheel base or should the monitor(s) be just above the mounted wheel base?

Nice guitar collection there - proper Fender Jaguar, genuine Gibson Les Paul, and a Strat at the back. Is the third one an LP double cutaway? - I think the horn might be too pointy for that. Perhaps a Yamaha SG (?), although I can't see any edging/purfling and the edge isn't rebated or softened. Please put me out of my misery! Lovely dark purple colour though. Oh and thanks for the video - it may come in handy soon, once I migrate from being a console peasant.
Good eye Mike - though I might have guessed you'd pay keen attention to that scene! From right to left: Jazzmaster, Les Paul Thinline, Les Paul Jr, Strat and Tele. I can definitely forgive mistaking the Jazzmaster for a Jaguar, given that you can't really see the pickups! I've always liked those Yamaha SG like double cutaways they made in the 80s, but I've never owned one.
Gosh I'm embarrassed for my Jagmaster mistake. I should have guessed from the comparatively much longer scale and lack of crazy switches. I was thinking that purple guitar might just be a Jr too but I had a friend (a long time ago) who bought a Yamaha SG - and it was a thing of beauty (in flame sunburst). Your's is a very cool collection indeed. I once owned a Yamaha Samurai bass - one of the ugliest instruments imaginable! I also now own an Ovation Breadwinner - a close second when it comes to ugliness.
I had no idea Ovation made solid body guitars, though if the Breadwinner is anything to go by, perhaps it's not such a surprise that they didn't catch on! Funny you should mention the Samurai bass, as I've seen a couple of them appear in press photos etc. for young bands of late. Must be back in fashion again!
The Breadwinner was supposed to be the most "ergonomic" guitar made. They had plastic bridge saddles though, which deteriorate through age and string pressure. I had to rebuild my one - that didn't come to me with an original bridge, but as a basket case. It is nice to play now, but it won't stand up in any guitar stand. Robert Smith (from the Cure) played both Jazzmaster and Breadwinner guitars, so there is a connection! I sold my Samurai for 40 quid. they go for over a grand on eBay these days apparently.
I have tried, and tried multiple times through the Nvidia control panel to set the surround you, and all of my displays get so jacked up. I can't even see any windows that pop up. I set resolution size correct, and everything.
so ive got a sim shed im building and its 4ft by 6ft ill be using 3 monitors but if i play titles like f1 2018 and grid autosport and project cars and forza maybe what do i do if the angle of my monitors are close together, i cant have it like yours at 130 degrees ill be more like 160 or 180 maybe so how do i get the game to see that and not mess with the view, basicly is the a way of setting this up in other games
Hey Andrew, please forgive my late reply. That's always the problem with so called "arcade" titles. F12018 and I presume Grid don't have compensation controls for screen angle, and as such just stretch the picture across the three screens. Basically, the flatter the screens are, the better it will look.
Hello Mr Hayne. Is it possible to apply these rules in ACCompetizione? It looks like Unreal does not support triple monitors. Is this true and how could we adjust the three monitors in the ACC? Thankful!!!
Hi Chris, a couple of additional questions. In Assetto Corsa, the angle between central and lateral display cannot exceed 90 degrees. My side screens are at 120 degrees from the central screen, what value should I input in AC: 60 (180-120?) ? Also should bezels be captured in both the Nvidia control panel and in AC ? or is this redundant ? I am still struggling to adjust central and lateral views. Thx.
Good informative videos Chris, I'm about to buy all new screens to replace my mismatched setup, would you go with 27 or 32 for an ideal iracing triple setup? plenty of opinion out there but I can position the screens as close or as far away as needed so I'm just wondering what you run personally (resolution is of no concern as I currently run 1440 triples and happy with the performance)

@@ivohage 100% total honesty, triples are much better. But you will need to make sure you are running a beefy gpu.
@@ivohage I have had the trips for over a year now and I have no intentions to change. Whereas I changed from my super ultrawide within a few months.
9:20: Isn't there a misunderstanding by saying "my monitors were set to 50°", but then putting that value (180°-50° = 130°) in the FOV setting instead of the "Angle between center and screen monitors" setting where it belongs to ?
Excellent content as always Chris!
Great breakdown of the setup! Thank you!
Good info mate.
I'm building my triple screen set at the mo,
Just saving up for a 1080 ti, which is taking ages due to me spending all my spare cash at the le man classic this year.
I think you made the right choice. My apologies Marc, I think I've been calling you EJ for a while - I blame where TH-cam has cropped your avatar!
its cool man, quite like being called ej, iv been called far worse haha.
Heh, haven't we all!
Thanks for the hard work and delivery of a clear understandable walk through.
@Muskeln-kaufen.de I don't know, I suppose, mine were all identical.
Great vid mate helped me out a lot.
Now to figure out how to get the ingame screen to work on all 3 screens 😊
3.5 options. Single monitor with TrackIR. Bloody brilliant. 👍
Good point Alpha Lobster - I haven't given TrackIR a go yet, but my old man swears by it for his flight sims.
It is just awesome. No performance impact and the kind of visibility I imagine VR gives. But IMHO the correct FOV is critical to avoid disorientation.
So go and distract your dad, nick his gear and try it out :D
Here is one I did ealrier: th-cam.com/video/PXe-uImbjKc/w-d-xo.html (different account).
That does look very smooth and natural, a great demo of the tech.
Great work chris, keep up the exceptional informative info .
What a fantastic guide! Thanks for this!
Thanks Ed.
Thanks, Chris, for the fantastic sim racing tutorial video!...QUESTION: For the beginner sim racing enthusiast, what is the recommended graphics card for 4K triple monitor setup?
for triple 4k you need something beefy. 3090ti/4080 etc
What superb content - excellent work
Great video Chris.
Spot on Chris as usual 😊
Thanks Andy.
Is that a mistake when you say your monitor angle is 50 degrees so you minus 50 from 180? You have 45 for angle and 130 for field of view in your screenshot?
Man that's an excellent video!
using a 1050ti with the rift, ASW all the way XD, works extremely well with iracing, decent with assetto, a bit bad on rf2 though
Hey dude. Yeah, I find that RF2 is a really resource hungry in both VR and on triples. iRacing is surprisingly well optimised.
Nice guide. I am VR through and through... that said, triples would be nice for F1 and Wreckfest.
Are VA panels an option? Or is the viewing angle not compatible with a triple setup??
Chris! Question for you: if I (should I?) overlap the bezel of the outside 2 screens so that effectively I only lose 1 bezel width of picture instead of 2, how do I compensate in iracing / asseto Corsa in the settings?
for me 1 ultrawide monitor is perfect, 21:9 are cheap nowadays, and a 34 inch 1440p is just perfect for not only racing sims but everything
basically if you dont have the most powerful gpu in the world a 21:9 1440p 120 or 144hz is the best option, but if u are on a budget three cheap 1600x900 75hz monitors are a go
Nice vid Chris ! Thank you for sharing
Thanks Kurt
You can likely overclock your 1080p screens to 75hz at the same time if you have good cables - this *can* fry your screens though because they do draw more current.
what if you would want to connect a console to triple monitors
I've recently bought a gtx 1060 and have triple monitors two 34in and a 27 inch all works perfectly
at 9:10 you say iracing does its measurements backwards so you put 130 into the box? it looks like thats your FOV at 130 and your angles were 45 not 50.
can you clarify this? confused alright!
hello, great video. if you have a 27 inch 16: 9 or a 32 inch 16: 9 monitor the best 1: 1 view, the best immersion? Greetings daniel
Not really a topic that concerns me in VR.
But a nice and thought through video as always! :)
Thanks R-VR Closet. :)
Hey Great video thanks! I have a cuestion if I play in a laptop with only 1 HDMI port, Can I use a splitter to divide the signal to 3 screens?
For Guys with 3 Screens but different resulutions it is a real pain to setup with Nvidia surround. With the AMD Eyefinity it was possible. A option that works for me, is to run the games in windowed mode, with the resolution set as a custom resolution in the Video.ini or what ever the file is called. The trick is to use the Programm Borderless Gaming which scaless the Window to full Screen even though your running windowed mode.
Hope i could help someone having the same problem :)
Thanks Faszinated - very helpful insight.
Can you use two smaller monitors for the sides and a larger for the main?
@@Muttchismo yes, my Setup is excatly Like that. You need to Setup your vertical resolution according to the highest resolution in this direction. In my case 1080 even though the two outers only have 1050. This leads to a bit of a cropped Image. The upper or lowermost part of the image on the smaller outer monitors will be missing.
The other Option would be to reduce the Resolution of the middle large monitor which looks awful in my optinion.
very good cockpit!
Any info?
also can use head tracking with single screen (trackiR / opentrack)
Hey thanks for the very informative video. I'm about to setup my rig with triple dells, I'll post the end result on my channel.
Excellent tutorial. Cheers.
Why does everyone forget about ultrawide monitors. I race on a single 21:9 ultrawide and is a good balance of immersion and compact setup easy to drive. You can even get wider curved ultrawides these days.
Because still not as wide as a triple screen
@@skippychurch2965 of course not. But the average persons setup would probably struggle to run three monitors at decent fps. An ultrawide is a happy medium between the two.
@@skippychurch2965 I now use the ultrawide in the middle with two 1080p on the sides. Best of both worlds. Wider centre screen with more peripheral vision.
3:15 Yea it is crazy seen people go for 4k and 1440p
tbh i dont really see the point of going above 1080p id rather look at a slightly unnoticeable lower res image than gettin a stutterfest at 1440p or melting a gpu tryin to run 3 4k monitors at 30fps
people say 1080p at 27inchs is too low res and then they have like 65-75" tv's in 4k thats actually less pixels per screen size than a 27" monitor
a couple years ago i went from 1080p to 4k gaming and was excited to get on my games until i got ingame and then couldnt actually notice a difference..it also destroyed my fps so i ended up selling it couple months later worst tech purchase ever
Great video. Helped me a lot, cheers
This is an old video but i avoid surround like fire, takes forever to set it up and swap between single 144hz and triple in surround mode. I assign profiles in monitor switcher and use in game options to adjust, even if it means changing setting files.
that thing you said about iracing that you that your angle and minus it and put that into the settings. So we dont imput our normal 60
hi chris, i dont know if you get asked with this question frequently.
Thanks Thor's Gaming - much appreciated.
Hi, is it possible to use 16:9 + 32:9 + 16:9 for triple setup? Or it must all same screen ratio to works ?
Yes that is possible. More and more people are now starting to add 2 Samsung G7's to their G9. But any monitor would work with 16:9. I was thinking about such setup (I have the CRG9 49"). But the FOV is quite narrow in height. And quite a lot of pixels to generate for my rtx 3080. So now looking into 3x 32" screens 1440p
Single best improvement to my racing 3 monitors....
Yes, I have a 34inc ultrawide 2540x1080 (1080p 27" but wider) and it is blocks asfuq
Samsung CHG90, Track IR. Besides VR that's my go to.
So if your hz on the monitors arnt the same im assuming they all will be limited to the lowest hz monitor?
Great video, thank you!
I used to dream of having triple monitors but ever since my got my Oculus Rift, I haven't even turned on my other displays.
Chris, do you recommend when setting up 1 or 3 monitors, to have the bottom of the monitors be behind and lower than the racing wheel base or should the monitor(s) be just above the mounted wheel base?

hi Chris great video. setting up a quarto for my sim. monitor my gpu is a gigabyte a gt x 1660 but im having a problem setting up screen when i start the sim my cockpit not center its between both monitors can you please help me out thanx Leon
Great to see guitar players that sim race. Makes me feel at home 😊
@@ChrisHaye polite one :)
Thx.
Great video. For sure helping me decide one day.
Thanks Ianlvl456
What tvs do I use?
What and how do I connect so that it runs all together?
Good informative videos Chris, I'm about to buy all new screens to replace my mismatched setup, would you go with 27 or 32 for an ideal iracing triple setup? plenty of opinion out there but I can position the screens as close or as far away as needed so I'm just wondering what you run personally (resolution is of no concern as I currently run 1440 triples and happy with the performance)
