This looks great. Thanks for reviewing it. I suck at these games as well but still really enjoyed demon souls and code vein especially. With the addition of local co-op and a pretty good price point I'd love to try this. Its sad more games don't do local co-op like back in the day.
This game looks really promising, way better than anything in last 8-10 months. Not short main story(at least for LS streamers, who will in for 35-40+ hours at least),great style and atmosphere(Like mix of Event Horizon movie with demonic Dark Souls series).
Me and a friend are playing the game on local coop. On the ps4. There are some lag spikes moslty when for example when a friend is opening menues and the other is out fighting. However otherwise the game is incredibly enjoyable together. You can also revive your friend by sacrificing your health though this can only be done to the quest player.
the game is ok i was hoping for a depper char system to progress and equip my char. The gameplay is good but sadly they make the game sometime harder as it should be example there is a small bridge where a big enemie is and you must jump over to the bridge and some other not so clever enemie positions. In Dark Souls 1 and 3 the enemies where clever placed the games where not extreme hard but a good challenge. The overall look is realy good. So i hope Hellpoint is successfull so they make a second game but this time do o depper char progression system please.
After playing Immortal Unchained tell the end (it is fucking great) then coming to this it took me about 45 min and i uninstalled. A team quality vs B team if that.
I am always puzzled when people throw around the word repetitive in video games as every game has repetitive features. to me the horribly repetitive games are like multiplayer shooters where you just respawn, die, respawn, die. here you are exploring, leveling up. I am assuming the different worlds have different looks to them in this game. I only got up to the first boss and it is pretty cool.
Will you be going to hell and back? Thanks for watching ^_^

I am with you Lillian! We love local co-op in games! Thanks for watching the review 😀
code vein was a tough one without the coop character but it felt hella good beating the ornstein and smough solo.
I have also been looking forward to reviews & trying this game for myself, this is the first review of it I've seen!
Hey David glad you found our review! Feel free to hang around the channel as we cover lots of games that often don't get the recognition they deserve.
At last a honest review. Congratulations. For an indie this game has a lot of good features and definitely it was made with passion.
Honesty is our specialty Elvis thanks so much for checking us out!
Has this game came out for PS4?
Or it's been delayed again.
The game should be available on PS4 now! store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0097-CUSA17806_00-HELLPOINT0000000

Yup! Been waiting for this👍
Let us know what you think! Try your best to survive!!
Not a huge fan of souls-like but this one looks pretty cool. I love the minimalistic environment design, kinda the same vibe as some 90s sci-fi FPS.
immortal unchained
Best indie game I have ever played.
Glad you are enjoying it Jason!
Good grief
do the trashmobs *really* have to be hollow-undead models??
What's the first big challenge, a Black knight in a 1950s scifi space-helmet?
Looks good! Great review!
Thank you very much Bytron08!

also its like 3gb - awesome job, not like 100gb of vermintide 2 or other crap
Pretty impressive right!?
@@IDreamofIndie yeah just bad hitboxes and graphical artefacts otherwise its a pretty good souls game, kinda like immortal unchained
Is the PS4 version have Local Coop?
My understanding is that all versions support it!
Is it download only? Can't find a physical copy
I don't believe there is a physical copy of the game at this time.
I have a physical copy on ps4 and it's a great game
@@eva-vv4db it is a great game. I need to do the DLC
Looks interesting but the question why they're using medieval weapons inside a spaceship is driving me nuts. Is it ever explained in the game?
This is one of those games where you have to dig for answers. Some are there, but are up to the player to interpret in many cases.
Souls type game need medieval weapons or else it's not a souls game.
The mixture of medieval and fantasy is awesome. FF has been doing it for years. Why would something so cool drive you nuts?
They had medieval weapons in Star Wars KOTOR too fool

It’s still not in the PlayStation store yet..
The PlayStation Store can be a little slow to update sometimes hang in there!
Offline or online
Local split screen or online via Match codes!
This game reminds me a bit of Elex, it looks kinda wierd and feel not totaly right when playing but man when you get deeper its such a good game.
Glad you are enjoying it bamjam!
Reviewing a game after beating one or maybe two bosses? What is this IGN? Hahaha I'm kidding. Good honest review.
Glad you liked it Maelzreal! You are VERY far away from the echo chamber!
I played this last night on console, thr framefrate was atrocious in certain areas. Just wanted to give that as a warning.
I have heard the console versions aren't running so hot, that is a shame! Hopefully they get them in working order.
What console?

Waiting on the Switch 🤞🏾
Hopefully not waiting too long! I can imagine it will be no easy task getting the co-op features performing well on the Switch.
Looks easy
After playing Immortal Unchained tell the end (it is fucking great) then coming to this it took me about 45 min and i uninstalled. A team quality vs B team if that.
Fair enough!
Looks cool, but not $35 cool.
I got it for $20 bucks today. It is good so far till the first boss
Rofl 25hrs is not long.
You liked this game a LOT more than a 3 minute review I just watched. I'm with the first review. Looks horribly repetitive.
To each their own! Thanks for checking out the review!
I'm with this review, it looks unique and lovingly crafted.
