I love my current setup. I use it for street. There are no parks or pools where I live. Nearest park is 4 hour drive away. @Pierre✨ shockpads are soft rubber inserts that can be placed to reduce the feeling of vibration or impacts felt. Bushings are the part built into your trucks that effect turning. If you are buying a board and trucks your trucks will already have them. The bare basic requirements for building a board is deck, grip tape, hardware(bolts), trucks, wheels, and bearings.riser pads and shockpads are extra things. Riser pads are the same as shockpads but harder and giver you a higher truck. This can change things like timing for tricks. As for what you go with it's all preference for the most part. Even my current setups are different from what I listed here 2 years ago. So it can always change over the years as you develop you skate style and find what works for you.

56mm formula 4 spitfire 99A are the BEST for transition for me..and I've tried plenty. Oh and USE THE SPACERS!! They take pressure off your wheel core, make sliding more stable and add life to your bearings, and make it a much better ride.
I skate 60mm 78a on my board and still do all tech tricks with them. You just have to adjust to the weight of the wheels. And I skate a 10x31 Santa Cruz slasher re issue board with indys 169’s.
Smaller Ricta Clouds are perfect for that. They're shaped like a street wheel but they're kinda soft as well so you'd be going smoother over the sidewalks. @@Wishbone420 yeah I have riser pads before they biting
is that soft Wheels 57mm 80A
Yes, 80A is a softer wheel.
@@SkateWarehouse thank u
what are the best wheels for skating bowls?
I use 52mm spitfires which are sick in bowls but bigger wheels like slime balls are good too
And I recommend bones
Cool vid
Do the wheel bearings come in different sizes?
Bearings are all the same size and will fit in any size wheel. As the wheel size changes, the center bearing seat remains the same diameter.
I kinda wish this video went into explaining wheel shapes and durometers.
You're in luck!

52mm-55mm is a good starting point. After that it comes down to personal preference.

Yes! But you gotta skate them a lot.
perfect size for street and skate parks is 52 or 54 im my opinion
Can't argue with that.
@@SkateWarehouse 52 or 54 is the best in your opinion?
Using a hard 60mm so I can go as fast AF
That's fast....stay safe!

Im getting the biggest one so i can fly when im in the bowl 😝
What no 39's
I want to be able to cruise around, but still do tricks
you want 2 pairs of wheels then bc if u go in the middle it'll be mediocre for both but if u get one for cruising one for tricks youll be 10/10 for either one
