To anyone watching this in 2023, she's absolutely capping about the trunk space. I just wrapped up a weekend trip and the trunk was more than enough for two overpacking cosplayers who bought a lot of merch at a con. AND I still had complete rear view vision.

I don't "heel and toe" my 370Z with my heel, I use the right edge of my right foot to blip the throttle while using the left edge of that foot on the brake pedal.

Heel-toe downshifts are used to get smooth downshifts when braking. It started in racing, but has evolved into everyday driving. As you brake, you shift your heel over and rev-match with the throttle. It takes some practice but can be quite rewarding when you finally get it.

I’ve just bought one. Mine’s a GT spec though, and I’m absolutely smitten. The lack of refinement can be a bit wearing after a long shift and you just wanna get home but then it’s also the kind of car that’ll get you out of bed on a day off, just to go for a play. I love it.

Great review Rebecca! I enjoy your videos every time. Keep it up!
I have driven a 370Z roadster some time ago and I was really disappointed by the road noise. I thought the coupe would be better at this than the cabrio. I see from your review it isn't. A big downside to it.
But don't you just love how the engine just wakes up and explodes with a great sound whenever you accelerate hard? Especially in 3rd gear on the highway!

    • @videomaniac108
      @videomaniac108 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Much of that road noise is due to the kind of tire you have. I have a 2019 sport coupe with Bridgestone Potenza S007 as the OEM tire and they're fairly quiet. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that I put on a few months ago are even quieter.

Hard to say. If it is done correctly, it actually doesn't put much strain on the clutch because you matched the speed of the transmission to the speed of the engine, therefore you shouldn't need to slip the clutch much. Do I use it in everyday driving? No, but it is fun when you get it right.

Well ive driven an BRZ and a 370 Z and i cannot understand why some people are saying the BRZ is a better sports car. Now the BRZ is fun to drive, it's easy to drive, communicates well, and is a sporty looking car, but the Z does everything the BRZ does and alot better. I won't even talk about the Z's speed. Getting a new car in Febuary and after testing these two and a Mustang i'm getting the Z. After the test drives i tried to remeber how i felt when i was done and i liked the Z the best.

Not certain if this European model has 18 or 19 inch wheels. The 19 inch 245/275 mm tires will alter the Zs handling, but unfortunately, add tire noise. No big deal: when it is time for new tires just get some quieter tires.

She's been doing this for quite a while now, i'm pretty sure she won't be replaced, lots of people do love her reviews.
It's not Mat's job either, he was hired to do it, just like Rebecca, iv been watching these reviews for a long time, the reason they took on Rebecca was because Mat had other things to do, he didn't have time to review lots of car.
I doubt it takes an hour to 2 hours, taking into account the driving around, the bloopers, getting the right scene, pretty sure it takes longer.

@ERK572 here in north america. the 370z is quite a bit cheaper than the tt. 48,000 for the tt and 40,000 for the 370 ( in canadian dollars). So it's a huge bargain here.

Wow, why do people feel the need to be so negative about the presenter? She is pretty and she knows what she is talking about. Her looks don't matter. What more do people want? I think the comment about the big bottle storage is good as not enough cars have good storage nowadays. I drive a VW Gold Mk VI and there is less storage in it than the Mazda 323F I owned years ago. Considering all the stuff we have in our cars e.g. phones, chargers, sat navs, digital music players WE NEED MORE STORAGE.

Amazing how Nissan saves money. Look at those seat controls! They didn´t even invested in manufacturing a seat control cluster for right hand drive cars...the same seat they use for left hand drive cars, in which those controls would be located on a convenient position...always bothers me how Nissan tries to skim everywhere, an old Almera I had only had one airbag, and the luxury (??) version didn´t had a second one either...I know it is a cost oriented thing, but this is ridiculous.

The 370Z is in sort of a class of its own ... the Audi TT is perceived as a ladies car, while Porsche Cayman is the preferred choice of those who can afford it. The serious competition has come from the '86/BRZ which is a better sports car though spartan in comparison.

Rebecca Jackson: And the final problem is practicality. "But it’s a sports coupe" I hear you say. Yes, this is true. But an Audi TT has two, albeit small seats in the back, this has none. It also has a very shallow boot. And if it wasn’t for this flexible parcel shelf, you wouldn’t even fit one suitcase in. That’s it, that’s the boot full, which means you’ll have to holiday by yourself.
Yooka: I could easily tell Bubsy to "lose himself" in practicality, not with the Nissan, but with a Toyota!

Jack Wheatley Mine's so small it doesn't fit anything _but_ paper. Ironically, I drive a 370z. The only thing that fits in there is my registration and a few maintenance records.

Theres a storage compartment behind the rear seat for all that paperwork nonsense.

Hello random stranger from the internet. I know its 3 years ago since you made this comment. But for some weird reason I wanted you to know that I actually keep my gloves in the glove box.

I'd love one but the road tax and fuel costs in the UK for this car make it for too expensive
