First, thank you for the sensations, it must be fantastic to try something like this for the first time. One question please, could you notice the FF joystick when the plane went into a stall?
It's awesome. I finally received mine and have been getting familiar with it. I am still learning the ins and out of it along with MSFS 24. Expect a video soon of my opinion on it which so far is very positive. In fact, I removed my regular yoke. Non FFB just doesn't do it for me anymore. I do have a video up with some of the size specs. th-cam.com/video/ZoS9w5JJiYE/w-d-xo.html
Yes it would. I would love to design/have a combo flight flight/racing rig. I have a racing rig on an aluminum frame from Advanced Sim Racing, and holy smokes is that thing solid with zero flex. I would love to have something light for my flight rig.
They have now posted pricing on their website, but they did not mention an Airbus stick to me, and I have not found it on their website or in news releases.
VKB is still the standard imo. FFB is good when done well, but early models like this are likely to make you fly worse, not better. Still waiting to see how it impacts WW2 planes and chopper trim/hovering in DCS.
Is that War Thunder? Would have been better experience if they let you try it on a cold war Premium Jet instead of a Rank 1 plane And Sim mode instead of Realistic or Arcade.
That's a great question. I did not ask that. Having said that, I think extensions would lessen the force felt at the grip, and depending on the length of the extension that might mitigate too much of the force.
@@hornetj3777 Rough estimate: 5-6 inches by 7-8 inches. About 7-8 inches tall. It was mounted so I couldn't tell the weight, but Blu Games (who does a full review) says it's heavy.
@@RIKAAR_Ambient lets hope so. I'm looking forward to seeing how the FFB joystick base turns out. An affordable FFB rudder pedal set after that would be amazing
The Moza was ok. Force feedback is great, but I also find my Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS satisfying with a much smaller base (even with the AVA upgrade).
That is a great joystick you have, no doubt. Having said that, one thing I took from FSE 2024 was how cool force feedback is, and how behind the times flight simulation is compared to racing where force feedback is more and more common while also being affordable.
Balljoint disqualifies the Warthog stick tbh. At this Point its basicly an overpriced x56 with a bit more metal. But then again. its over a Decade old by now right? By now there are way better Hotas options in the same Pricerange from Winwing etc :)
The FA/18 is a fly by wire aircraft, forces are simulated to the pilot, you won't get a proper feel with a FFB stick. Now if he tried the Phantom then that's a different story 👍🏻
@@tonyf9076 Haven't tried the Phantom yet, but if it's the same as the Tomcat (which I expect it is, seeing as it's the same developer) then it should be considered the gold standard of what FFB support should be like.
@@IvanSkyFlight Many Flight Sticks have the twist feature for rudder ...perhaps the pedals were dialed out or down. I no longer use a twisting stick ...when I did, I found the two conflicted with each other & the stick would over-ride my pedal inputs. I will be ordering this base if it is compatible with my other equipment.
Come try our new high end flight sim hardware ... in warthunder third person view?
That's what they had set up. Although the rig next to it was running something different I think.
It is even the damn arcade mode in war thunder. not even the Simulator mode.
hi ivansky. i have a question. where did you buy the pedals throttle and the joistick. please name brand of the products. thx.i subed
This was at Flight Sim Expo so none of this gear is mine. I have used a variety of places for buying gear including Amazon, Sporty's, eBay, etc.
@@IvanSkyFlight. OH. But thanks for the Response.

I can't say that I felt anything, but I wasn't concentrating hard enough. Hope to get this in the future and I will certainly make a video if I do.
Great Video! How does the Moza F-16 Grip feel compared to the Thrustmaster f-16 Viper Grip?
The grip felt good, but I don't have a Thrustmaster grip yet to compare. Hopefully soon.
Great video..
Definitely looks like a winner..
FFB is back!!!

Is the trigger on their stick single or dual stage?
Unfortunately I did not pay attention to that. I am hoping to update this with a full review, but they are not released yet.
What flight seat/cockpit they used if you know?
The seat is for sure GTR and it looked like GTR was sharing a booth with Moza.
the base is quite expensive tho, is $550, but from what i saw from other videos, you can actually put other joysticks there
I am being told that some Thrustmaster and some Virpil grips can be used for sure.
The revolution would be if it were possible to also use the joystick as an H shifter in simracing in the same rig..
Yes it would. I would love to design/have a combo flight flight/racing rig. I have a racing rig on an aluminum frame from Advanced Sim Racing, and holy smokes is that thing solid with zero flex. I would love to have something light for my flight rig.
Is the base coming with airbus stick version? Had you heard anything from them?
They have now posted pricing on their website, but they did not mention an Airbus stick to me, and I have not found it on their website or in news releases.
A great looking piece of kit!
I thought so!
Price out today. 550us for base, 170 for stick
I saw that. That is about what expected for the base. I am being told that is also compatible with Thrustmaster and Virpil sticks.
my VKB gunfighter ultimate was supposed to be buy once cry once lol not even 15 hours in and this is announced

Thanks for your quick review.
No problem!
Will buy it when possible! Love flight sims but need some good new gear, hope the price is reasonable.
Me too. Price will be a big deal. Moza is usually pretty competitive. Fingers crossed.

are you kiddin me ? war thunder in third person view LOL !! very professionel

Can it mount an extension?
That's a great question. I did not ask that. Having said that, I think extensions would lessen the force felt at the grip, and depending on the length of the extension that might mitigate too much of the force.
@@IvanSkyFlight thx for the reply. For me extensions are essential, as the leverage is key for precise movements.

They are wider than my Thrustmaster pendulum style pedals, but they did not feel too wide. The width does give you a bit more precision.
