I don’t know how much processing power will need to make it smoother but I was surprised when I start driving and stop noticing those micro stutters which was getting me dizzy when I I was constantly looked for those delays. Let’s see if improve with the time
This wheel looks interesting indeed. I think the stichings are a little bit of a killer for the asking price if you use it bare hands at least. But its always nice to see companys trying new things! Great review as always and have a nice day! 🍻😁
Moza contacted me after I released the video to confirm there won’t be stitches around the thumb area 💪 I must make post about that as the sample they send me misrepresenting them a bit 🙈
@@chepilevski yes, it seems like it! Also I am building a budget set up under 950, do you have any recommendations for the wheel and pedals or any other accessories?
I don't know if they changed it after your review, but the one I just got today for review has the stitching that stops exactly where the thumbs go 😅 My video will be live somewhere next week if you want to look at the difference
The best thing about this wheel is for Vr. Yea, if you play in Vr and use a program to make a see-through where your wheel is you nearly always can t see the dashboard of the car. With this option you can have a minimal pathtrough windows and have every info you need to drive 😊. For now it s a bit expensive for me but I will keep looking at this product. Thanks for shearing
I liked it too. When I showed it to tree of my friends 2 loved it and one didn’t! I personally like how it looks a lot but as you’ve said, some will hate it and that’s not a problem at all 😁
Sure credit where is due is needed clap for trying something different but it’s not a wheel I would buy at this price point that’s for sure. Great review as always sir❤
In my use case, I want to only glance at it, or be in peripheral vision and it'll deliver all I need to know. No need for that fancy rotation. Whatever info I need most, like flags, warnings, fuel, delta, etc. like a LED Matrix, but premium. This wheel is very good. :)
If they are going to charge a premium price then they need to use premium materials and have a premium finish to the details. I’m looking for a 310mm or 320mm GT wheel so this was of interest but it’s a hard no from me.
Great to see more innovation but at €800 feels a little expensive given what quality engineering you can get for a little bit more. I’ve only experienced Moza products at SimRacing experiences such as F1 arcade and at each time the wheels were already falling apart. But I’m sure they get absolutely hammered in these places but makes me think twice about getting into the Moza eco-system. .
Any wheel fails apart and feels like shit over time 🤣🤣🤣 micro center had a $1000 plus gsi wheel and the buttons had no click, rotary encoders had no indents left that you could feel!
Thank you for one more great review, this will help community and me a lot! I would like if you can somehow get hands on Asetek Invicta bundle (Wheel base, forte steering wheel and Invicta pedals) and give your personal opinion. That would be really great
@@SIMRIG412 I agree, but reviews from someone like this are priceless. It will help a lot of people and also it will be nice to hear voice about their products on this channel as well
They do great work in terms of creating competitive market for sure! In my opinion if that wheel was at 700€ I was going to look at it with totally different eye! That price really put it against some very good options out there.
I have a wheel from a different brand, that is made from the (fake) leather and has stiches. It was indeed a bit rought on the thumbs and I had stiches come loose on that spot too, which made it really uncomfortable. I still do prefer the feeling of the (fake) leather over rubber, but the quality of the stiches is critical and is not on the required level for wheel I have used.
Good to know you like the leather and it lasts. Moza actually contacted me after I released the review and told me that for the mass production there won’t be any stitching and is smooth area which is great news! Must make a post with the picture they showed me. Thanks for the info and opinion as it helps the community🤛
What I don‘t get is why do they use a gyroscopic sensor to level out the display? They have all the information of the wheel position in real-time. Why don‘t they use this as it has a minimal delay?!
I agree that might be a better option. On the other hand, as the centre of the wheelbase is not perse a know variable for the wheel, it might require the centre to be calibrate everytime it has been connected/disconnected and when the wheelbase is calibrated. I would prefer that option over the delay. But this wheel is not for me, so maybe they should not listen, haha.
@@chepilevski I see… mmh… isn‘t there a way to get this information still? I mean if the game is receiving the information about the wheel position, shouldn‘t it be possible to grab this independently of the wheelbase manufacturer? Either via the game itself or directly?
That steering wheel is made for people who play arcade games, real sim’s racing players want replicas of real steering wheels or something similar like KS wheel
