The "rat tail" of Obi Wan shows that he is a padawan learner, an apprentice, not a Jedi Knight yet. The final fight, sounding "Duel of the fates", it´s one of the best in the franchise for me. Legendary.
Harrison Ford told George Lucas, _You can write this sh t, but you can't say it!_ He wanted George to say the lines ... and George could. He knew how it was supposed to sound. That's why the dialogue is so wooden in some scenes. _Jar Jar is the key to all of this._ ~George Lucas
Destroying the last Sith Lord after being redeemed isn't bringing balance to the galaxy. 🤣 Sorry, this is sort of *spoilery* if you haven't watched *The Clone Wars* or the sequels. Even if Palpatine were "unable" to return, there are so many Sith artifacts and teaching relics, they could return at any given time. Quite a few Sith imbued their essence into antiquities, such as masks, rings, weapons, monuments, etc. Every holocron, every aspect would need to be destroyed. _"If you define yourself by the power to take life, the desire to dominate, to possess...then you have nothing."_ ~Obi Wan Anakin's first step was ending the way things were done in the Mortis realm. This isn't something he would do in one fell swoop. Stories never end. They're just abandoned.
You’ve got qui gon wrong. He was right, anakin was the chosen one, just not in the way people think. The Jedi at this point have lost their way and become overly dogmatic (you’ll see more examples of this later) then once the empire rises Anakin is the one who destroys the emperor finally bringing balance to the force. The song during the last fight is called “duel of the fates” because if qui gon survived that fight, his more knowledgable way of the force would’ve been enough to raise Anakin with the father figure he needed to not join the dark side, qui gon not surviving is the first reason that Anakin is set upon the dark path. Qui Gon is only in one film and will always be my favourite character, extended lore in other series expand how important his death was and makes this film feel more impactful
@@AbbyJaneReacts Because of he died that make Anakin fate changes. Imagine is Qui Gon still alive, Darth Vader wouldn't be create. Qui Gon is the father figure that Anakin needed, not Obi Wan. Obi Wan was not prepare to hold that responsibility to take care a young padawan when he still a young padawan also. Obi Wan still young to become a father figure to young Anakin. He still so much to learn how to become one.
Jake Lloyd was bullied in school, but you need to understand that was over 25 years ago. His problems later in life are caused by his mental illness. He's trying to get help aided by his mother but he does have slip-ups once in a while
I personally LOVE this movie for almost all. This trilogy was very attacked without sense and without reason, when was released. Now, with the time, has had its deserved recognition.
Star Wars fans hardcore are very weird and behave stupidly sometimes. Attacking Jake Lloyd and crucifying these prequels. I thought these prequels. What are some of the best of Star Wars and to this day I still believe that.
@@MI-hz1cp Not liking the prequels means not liking George Lucas's vision for Star Wars, it's simply not liking Star Wars. And those who harassed Jake Lloyd and the actors are not true Star Wars fans, they're just jerks, the same goes for those who bash people for enjoying these films just because it's become trendy to criticize them to seem "cool".
I love Star Wars so much, and I love so much your reactions because you´re so perceptive. It´s great to see someone who catches, thinks and analizes without stopping enjoying. I´ll follow you till the end!
And yet Vader would have never beaten the Emperor until his son interfered. Or if he ever did, it would have only been to replace him and carry on the evil Sith agenda. And if you take the newer lore seriously, it wouldn't have worked anyway and would have just ended up with Palpatine taking over Vader's body. With all of that said, if Lucas says that Anakin was the Chosen One, then Anakin was the Chosen One.
Yes, what you heard about Jake Lloyd being bullied related to his role in this film. It is a tragic story that you may want to explore on TH-cam at some point now that you've seen the film, but as a fan, it sickens me that other human beings can be so cruel to a child, especially one who is trying their best to deliver the performance George directed.
They were all famous BEFORE this movie. Nathalie Portman was in Leon, Liam Niesson in Schindler's List, Ewan MacGregor in Trainspotting etc. There were times when actors were fighting to get a role in Star Wars...
Yep Samuel L Jackson even said he would have been happy getting in as a Trooper with a helmet on he just wanted to have a role and even flew out to Britain, George Lucas and his agent made abit more happen.
They were somewhat famous, Jackson having been in Die Hard 3 and Jurassic Park prior to this. But they became household names because of Star Wars except for Liam Neeson since he had already been in an Oscar winning movie with Shindler's List.
Yes the actor who played Young Anakin is Jake Lloyd and his school mates bullied him. His parents tried their best and seemed to have done a good job to shield him from bullging from the rest of the fandom. But public media figures like late night hosts would make hokes at the kid's expense. The actor who played Jar Jar almost ended his own life from the hate he got because original trilogy fans were so hateful towards him for being that character. Star wars has a long history of the actors getting A LOT of hate. It has kinda nevee gone away. It just changes targets.
Great reaction!!!! Like I said in an earlier post you had, this one was a little slower and not my favorite but it is building the story to progress into episodes 2 and 3. Also, glad you finally got the "Young Padawan" reference I have been using for you in my comments lol. Glad you know I wasn't being wierd or something :). Anyway, may the Force be with you young Padawan!!!!!
Qui-Gon was right! Indeed Anakin was the chosen one, we just didn't think it was going to go this way as him being bad because if you remember, at the end of "Return of the Jedi" he did destroy the Sith by killing the Emperor as he was saving his son but also destroying Darth Vader by becoming Anakin again, returning to the light side. Therefore, no more Sith.
There was a comedy movie that came out in 2009 called Fanboys. It's about a group of friends in 1998 going to Skywalker Ranch so they can see Episode I before anyone else since one of the group is dying and won't live long enough to see it in theaters. It's a pretty good movie and I'd recommend reacting to both it and Spaceballs which parodies the original trilogy.
The reception for the prequels has only gained traction in the years since their release, and rightly so. Jar Jar aside, they gave us wonderful characters and an amazing backstory to a universe we love. Great reaction.
In the theatrical version, Yoda was a puppet for Episode I. They CGI'd him for the DVD release. (for continuity, just like replacing Original Anakin Sebastian Shaw in ROTJ with Hayden Christensen). Puppet did look younger and a little awkward. Short version- Jedi vs. Sith: Jedi use/embrace the Light side of the Force, Sith employ the Dark side of the Force. Sith are not necessarily Jedi, but you can be seduced from the light to the dark side ( as Vader had).
You should be happy with the way Yoda looks, when the movie first came out they did use a puppet! You can find the original version of Yoda and he looks incredibly creepy in my opinion, I’m glad it changed 😂😂
Anakin is literally space Jesus. The Force created him, hence why he's so talented with the Force. The story is more complicated but long story short, no there was no father.
The original release of this movie did in fact have Yoda as a puppet. He weirdly looked older than he does in the original films. Subsequent DVD/ Blu- Ray releases remastered it to his CGI form that we see in this version. This film was indeed targeting a younger audience. I think with so many kids growing up watching Star Wars and all the toys/ merchandise around it aimed at younger children for so long it only made sense at the time to cater to that demographic. Great for families to introduce their kids to Star Wars but it also lost some of the grit of the originals. Another thing, Lucas had free reign to basically do what he wanted with these films with very little push back, unlike the originals which was more of a collaboration between him and other producers/ directors. He's great at world building, not so much on dialogue and character interaction. Something he had a lot of help with on the originals. Great reaction. Hope you stick with it. It's a fun ride all said and done.
I would agree with this. The world-building and Ian's performance are the best parts of the prequels. Meanwhile, I found the dialogue and character interaction to be a little off in American Graffiti as well. I actually have no idea why that one became a hit. But I always watch Star Wars in its entirety, that's what makes it great to me. The one big story about Anakin Skywalker and Sheevy pulling the strings. And their interactions are always the highlights throughout. I do think Rogue One is up there with the OT, it's a decent addition. And I am looking forward to Andor season 2.
The deal with the prequels is basically they have a generally interesting story: how Anakin falls to the Darkside, the Clone Wars, how the stage is set for the Empire to rule the galaxy eventually, etc. Some parts of this are really well done, but others not so much. UNFORTUNATELY they often fail in the execution of that story. Some stuff isn't explained well or really doesn't make a ton of sense when you think about it too hard, and the dialogue and acting is often poor or even quite cringe at times. The action is generally great though. So it's a mixed bag, and some fans are more willing to overlook its faults and embrace its strengths than others. Many who generally like these films admit to these flaws but like them anyway. The upside is some of the cringe or silly bits often make great memes. Often, fans who like them well enough enjoy taking jabs at this stuff, leading to some thinking all these fans hate them, but they're really not that hated. The critics at the time blasted them pretty hard though. A LOT of fans really love episode 3. There is a small contingent who basically only like the originals though.
When it comes to Yoda, in the original trilogy he was a puppet. I like to call him a Muppet because George Lucas went to Jim Henson and Frank Oz to create Yoda. Frank Oz also voiced Yoda so if you compare Yoda's voice to Miss Piggy and Fozzie from the Muppet Show or the muppet movies, who Frank Oz also did the voices for, then you'll hear some similarities in the voices.
You are correct btw. I think the tone of this one is meant to be that bit more child like probably to mirror Anakin’s own innocence during this time. I saw this in 1999 at the cinema when I was 10 and I had already grown up with original trilogy on VHS during the 90’s. So I had high expectations even at that age and while I really enjoyed it and still do, it’s nowhere near the level of the original trilogy. Episodes 2 and 3 progressively get darker, more adult and more violent. I think you will get a lot out of episode 3 in particular just because of the order (the correct order and best way in my opinion) you have watched them in 🙂
Oh btw after you have watched episode 3, I really really recommend watching the Star Wars series Andor. It takes places 5 years prior to A New Hope and follows how the Rebellion gets going so moves away from the characters we are used to but you quickly get invested. It’s very thought provoking and moving in places
first time watching one of your reactions ill have to check out your other star wars uploads. you are absolutely adorable and a work of art. keep up the good work darling
I've never understood why people hated Jar Jar so much or why anyone disliked the prequels. They're great movies that added to the lore and expanded the universe. And Jar Jar wasn't that bad of a character at all.
Anakin actually does bring balance to the force, the Jedi have ruled the galaxy for centuries, so it was the sith’s turn. Plus anakin later kills Sidious and turns back to the light side
I think you would like to know that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader was the chosen one and he did bring balance to the force. It was a prophecy and you already saw how he ultimately succeeded in bringing balance when he killed the emperor and removed the threat of the Sith. That was a huge part of his redemption arc. Also the Mandalorian and Boba Fett shows expand on the nature of the Sand People of Tatooine.
I agree with your observation that the tone was a bit "childish". I think that was a marketing approach to capture the youngest fans for toys and merchandise sales. They were seeking a new generation of fans to the franchise, but money was always a motivator. Jar Jar is an example of a character that was thrown into the mix for the little kids.
I'd really recommend watching the clone wars series inbetween ep 2 and 3, it really builds up the universe, fixes some of the big issues with the prequels and adds so much weight to the whole story, its also pretty much the best star wars media thats ever been created besides old republic
I second that but I'd recommend doing it in chronological order instead of release order. When the episodes were released some episodes from season three were clearly meant to be watched with certain episodes from season one and season two since they pick up directly from plots in those episodes. Plus there's a few episodes sprinkled throughout the series that take place before the theatrical The Clone Wars movie that was released before the show premiered.
The Clone Wars miniseries from 2003 beats Filoniverse easy. No lorebreaking Mortis arc, no Ahsoka, no Maul. It simply fills the gap between Episdoe 2 and 3.
@@Sandlund93 gotta disagree with you there, ahsoka and maul were great additions imo, i also gave up caring too much about sw lore, they make up new rules and history with every project they make so why even stress
@@SinematicClips Yeah and that mess began with Filoni. By bringing back a character who was cut in half, he paved the way for where we are now. With characters sometimes surviving a lightsaber impalement and sometimes dying. And sure, if George agreed to bring Maul back, he deserves some criticism too. But at least he had a vision in mind, having Maul as the main villain of the sequel trilogy. Which would have meant for him to lay low for decades, biding his time like a true Sith. Instead, they ran out of ideas on what to do with him and decided to kill him off. Which meant that he achieved nothing, just like before. Because as with Starkiller, the canon didn't allow him to become someone of note. Unless he did it in hiding, leaving the story until at least Episode 6. So his death on Tatooine just becomes an anti-climactic waste and disappointment. All those hours I tried to give a crap about his ambitions and that's what it boiled down to? Yet another failure. As if he had learned nothing in the 30 years since Episode 1. How is that even possible? I have no idea why people keep praising it. And the story of Anakin was already told before they invented Ahsoka, she was superfluous from the start and remains so. In fact, why didn't she help Luke on Bespin and the Second Death Star? I guess Mandalore was more important, because Filoni wrote himself into a corner with her surviving the Clone Wars. And it's not like fans are craving an explanation anyway, which I find even more weird. As for the history, I guess that's mainly coming in Dawn of the Jedi. But at this rate, I bet they'll find a way to botch that too.
Thanks for another awesome reaction. I enjoy that you've been genuine in your reactions and opinions about these movies. Most people who grew up with the originals share much of your opinions about this one. However, in time, after some rewatches and viewing of future content you may come back to find yourself having a higher opinion of this trilogy. It's just disappointing on the first watch because as a fan, you know they could have done better. Imagine having to wait 15 years for another star wars movie and this is what they follow up the original 3 with.... :/ 15...years... lol Lot's of time to think. Plan. Consider fandom fiction ideas. Get feed back. Have a budget and an idea to make something really really incredible and innovative. And we got Jar Jar Binks. 10 people using a grappling gun like batman to ascend a floor of a building. A kid who manages to win the war by happenstance just to beef up the hype of his character's future legacy. And perhaps even a CGI Yoda. The movie is more childish in nature. You are 100% correct. Think about all of your favorite movies as a kid. They probably share the commonality of not dumbing down their content to appease to a younger age group. One of the best things the original movie did was to show the burnt Skelton corpses of Luke's foster parents. You don't have to be over the top graphic but you do have to show a level of truth to enjoy the pay off of the motivation that it gives the characters. Hunger is the best spice. Hurt and cruelty is the ying to the yang of purpose and bonds.
So Abby the phantom menace ; is Darth Sidious ! who is the single greatest representation of the Sith emerging from - thought (extinction) .. but Darth Sidious plan was to infiltrate the republic and create division which would ultimately effect the Jedi order, .. which was his primary target!! so in this movie Darth Sidious creates a trade dispute preventing access via trade routes to Naboo, however Ben Kenobi’s master Qui Gon realised there is no purpose in it, thus allowing the senate to focus on a way in which to settle the dispute!! and at the same time without being detected!!!allow Darth Sidious the necessary time to begin play for a place within the senate and then make way for his true mission …. eradicate the Jedi order …. 1. Of the prequels I like this one the best, mostly for the POD race and the underwater sequences, 2. Jar Jar is mostly comic relief since we don't have C3PO 3. Liam Neeson was very busy with various productions at the time and was in huge demand and agreed to do this episode because Qui-Gon Jinn dies, and he won't be held to do more. 4. Divine conception? 5. It's easy to know why this one didn't start the series because of the lack of CGI back in 1977.
Speaking of how easy it would be to fall to the Dark Side... Not seeing the "bad part" about people - in this case many Gungans - dying, and just shrugging and going "oh well" is definitely a large leap towards the Dark Side. Other such moves towards the Dark Side would be judging people as less than because of their species, their mannerisms or their looks. Not to mention wishing death on anyone, even the enemy. So, yes. Falling to the Dark Side is absolutely quite easy, and it can happen in subtle ways, without you even realizing it. The good thing is though, that if one does happen to fall to the Dark Side, they can in many, if not most cases be redeemed, and brought back to the Light. They do, however, have to want that. I guess it's a good thing is that the "Dark Side" is fictional. Well, at least in the way it's depicted in Star Wars. If the Force was real in our world, it might not quite be in balance.

@@jmwilliamsartmore like a lens of caution. They weren’t exactly judging him, they were just too afraid of his potential to notice the path he was heading down.
Anakin actually did bring balance to the Force. If you remember in Return of the Jedi, how he tossed the Emperor down the shaft, that's how he did it. Qui-Gon wasn't wrong. The Force was imbalanced because the Emperor was in power and the dark side of the Force was stronger for a long time until Luke and his friends came along.
29:13 The look between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan was meant to indicate that the *did* know about the queen and decoy switching that was going on. Padme thought she was fooling them, but they saw right through it.
35:45 he did bring balance back, he killed the Sith Lord, to save Luke. in the end he turned back from the dark side. i saw this 3 times in the theatres when it came out, i thought it was a great addition! enjoy the rest of the films! great reaction 👍
i absolutely love this trilogy. partly because i grew up with it but also because of the toxic romance between Ani and Padme xD its so tragic! get ready for crazy emotions in episode 3 lmao
While the original trilogy was much better than the prequel trilogy, I never thought the prequel trilogy was as bad as many thought. As you watch the other two films in this trilogy, you can see how much more of what are in the following movies could have been put into this movie by not spending so much time on Anakin's childhood and the pod races (pod races to sell video games), and Jar Jar (to sell toys).
"Can we not steal it?" That would be wrong... (he'd probably have to 😵 a bunch of slavers and gangsters) 😅 Better to cheat at gambling and win a race by endangering a child slave 🙃 and not freeing his mother... Not sure why anyone thinks the Jedi are good guys...
Bullying has been happening since children have been hanging around each other. It happened to me in the 70s in Southern California.... Social media has made more "mainstream" ... 🙄😕
Abby this movie came out in 1999, they had a puppet yoda in this movie but in 2005 they erased him and put in a cgi yoda, if you want to see what he looked like, go to youtube and search Lisa Kudrow tries out to be a Jedi , she hosted the 1999 mtv movie awards , and they had puppet yoda from this movie, he looked like a muppet which was funny and looked younger than his puppet in the empire strikes back movie
The mom of Jake has reciently spoke up about thr "bullying topic", saying it was the least of the worries of Jake and how he handled that, but sure that fans were a-holes and still are but media usually blames the "fans" or the audience and the easy excuse to put the blame on instead of looking for the real answers.
Jake Lloyd wasn't the only one who had a bad experience because of this movie. Ahmed Best, who mo-capped Jar Jar and voiced him, received so much hate mail that he considered suicide.
25:20 Yes, much inspiration for the idea of Jedi came from Buddhism, Japan etc. And yes, Zen int he meaning of not being consumed by emotions. There are also downsides of falling to the Dark Side. It destroys a Sith. Literally. Both mentally and physically.
If you want to see Liam Neesom where you can't recongnize him either, you should check out the 1981 film Excalibur. While it could have been done better, it still still the best and most complete Arthurian legend movie there is.
26:00 the Sith are a dark cult of Force-wielders who are the archenemies of the Jedi. They are known for their red-bladed lightsabers, black clothing, and use of aggressive emotions. The Sith are driven by anger, pain, and greed, and their ultimate goal is to destroy the Jedi and rule the galaxy
Sith, are not always fallen Jedi. They are Force sensitive beings though, that rely on their passion for their power, vs the Jedi being more compassionate. Typically the Jedi take children as young as 3 years old to begin their training as Younglings, so they don't have any emotional attachments. "Being too old" is a common thread in the Star Wars saga (Luke, Anakin). R2 wasn't Anakin's droid, but Padme's.
Abby if you watch the tv show Smallville , it is about teen clark kent he becomes Superman but in that tv show, he learns to be a hero and use his powers for good and to help people
@25:58 a Sith is much more than a fallen Jedi, or "Dark Jedi" as they are called in lore. The Sith have a code, and purpose. Their enemy has been and forever will be the Jedi. Dark Jedi tend to pursue less grandiose, more selfish goals. Without allegiance to any code or group.
Actually Qui-Gon wasn't wrong Anakin was the chosen one he did bring balance to the Force when he betrayed his master Darth sidious to save his son the prophecy doesn't say how he brings balance to the force or when he does it it just says that he will. In episode 6 return of the Jedi the title return of the Jedi is not referring to Luke Skywalker it is referring to Anakin Skywalker returning back to the light destroying the emperor saving his son and becoming a Jedi once again

Anakin's path to bringing balance to the force was not a straight one. I'm fact it was the messiest it could have possibly been. But he did get there eventually. Eventually he did destroy the sith and being balance to the force
The idea of “no father” or a potential cause is hinted in Revenge Of The Sith when Anakin & Palpatine speak in private at the “space opera” or whatever the hell it is
When the 'Phantom Menace' came out, it'd been 16 years since ROTJ was in cinemas. So the expectation for this film was through the roof. There is no way it could have possibly lived up to expectations and it was a huge disappointment at the time. All anyone wanted to know was - How does Anakin become Darth Vader...... But what we got was 2 hours of very confusing politics & pod racing! 25yrs later "The Phantom Menace" has aged pretty well but in 1999 it was a massive let down.

I personally loved this film, and all the prequels. The haters were just hung up on the fact that this movie was different than the originals. The movie didn't meet their hype level. The film did exactly what it was supposed to do, which was to tell the origin story. Also, Jar Jar is no more irritating than any of the other comical characters such as C3PO or BB-8. They always have a character whose whole purpose is to be comical relief. The harassment that Ahmed Best received was inexcusable and never should have happened. It was unnecessary and totally undeserved because he did a fine job.
How long will it be between the next star wars reactions? Do you have a scheduele for it? Or is it just when its ready?🙂 i found you because of empire strikes back, youre pretty nice😁
So it begins... 😅. But seriously, if you're going to watch star wars; do yourself a favour by at least not skipping Andor, or the Clone Wars TV series. In my humble opinion, The bad batch, &/or Rebels are also worthy additions, but their not remotely on parr with the former pair. Regardless, they all provide sooo much context for the greater franchise. Now, for the sake of continuity here's the order they should be watched in (it's ok to watch them out of order of course, but the overall narrative is more confusing if you do). Attack of the Clones, Clone Wars TV series, Revenge of the Sith (seriously, if you still retain the empathy you show in prior videos, then this one WILL make you cry; especially after watching the clone wars TV series), The Bad Batch, Andor, Solo, Rebels, Rogue One, A New Hope. Also; if you REALLY wanna dig deeper into this universe, I dare you to read or listen to the book; Darth Plageus: by James Luceno (it also hints pretty heavily at answers to questions you ask during this reaction). Set before the phantom menace, it gives LOADS of extra material about alot of things (phantom menace included). Star Wars really is a DEEP rabbit hole (possibly matched only by the Warhammer 40,000 universe: particularly its Horus Heresy era); at least if one goes by Legends continuity, it's that good. As for me, I personally don't acknowledge significant portions of Dysney's timeline. Not to spoil things, but two great examples of the expanded context can be found in the Trade Federation; & Maul. Plageus does a decent job of elaborating on both (as expected, seeing as neither are main characters in that book), but Rebels & the Clone Wars TV series do WONDERS at making Maul into a fully fleshed out character. I swear; if you truly absorb all three of those previously mentioned entries in the Star Wars saga, and not end up at least understanding why that guy is the way he is, I'll be seriously surprised... Oh; other guys you might wanna observe. If you decide on diving into the rabbit hole that is... Firstly; Count. Dooku (particularly in light of your reaction to the Phantom Menace). Won't say anything about him yet though; that would only spoil the next 2 main films. Not to mention the Clone Wars TV series; & several episodes of the Bad Batch. Buuut... I will say that reading Dark Rendezvous: By Sean Stewart, & Legacy of the Jedi: By Jude Watson, do humanise him. Like Maul, he's also best viewed in film & TV through other books. Plus certain bits from Tales of the Jedi (segments of that conflict with legends, but their still good to watch). Then there's Grand. Admiral. Thrawn. Ohhh boy, your in for a treat when you first see him 😎. Although; a word of warning, thanks to Disney taking advantage of his popularity in Legends, they've SIGNIFICANTLY altered his Cannon timeline (particularly through Rebels). So you'll have to bear that in mind when observing him. Nevertheless, there's a reason he's so loved by fans, no matter which continuity one acknowledges. Heir to the Empire, & it's trilogy: by Timothy Zahn, is critical if going by Legends. Otherwise, the Ascendancy & Thrawn trilogies; also, by Timothy Zahn, are great for understanding him better if acknowledging dysney cannon. Regardless of whether you choose to peruse the wider tales of this franchise however, congratulations & thank you, for dipping your toe in. 🎉 Ps: Hope these recommendations didn't take up too much of your time ☺️.
Wow I knew there was a lot of Star Wars content but there’s a lot more than I imagined! My plan was to watch the movies first and then if there was any interest to watch some of the series to watch some of them as well. I will probably end up watching every single show just not sure which ones I will make videos out of. Andor has been requested a few times so that one I’ll react to for sure! The clone wars is quite long so I’m not sure if I’ll make any videos about it, I’ll ask if it’s something people want to see, but I will watch it for sure. I love getting recommendations so thank you ! 🫶🏻
Anakin is the chossen one and he does bring balance tot he force when he kills the Emporer as Vader and in so killing himself. He destroyed the Sith. For the time being, that is.

Sorry, this is sort of *spoilery* if you haven't watched *The Clone Wars* or the sequels.

Jake Lloyd was bullied in school, but you need to understand that was over 25 years ago. His problems later in life are caused by his mental illness. He's trying to get help aided by his mother but he does have slip-ups once in a while

Im gonna have to check it out now 😂
Darth Maul Is my favourite Dark side Jedi in Star Wars Battlefront 2 PS4 his amazing in the game
That’s Luke’s dad Darth Vader
Dead beat daddy
@@masterdark598 thank you 😊
I would agree with this.
Lets just appreciate that Maul was perfectly willing to run over some random child to get to Qui-Gon?
Qui gon wasn't wrong anakin does bring balance to the force by killing the Emperor
Anakin in the end did indeed bring balance to the force by killing the Emperor, he is/was always the chosen one.

That wasn't a bad thing though.

Anakin still was the chosen one though, because he killed Darth Sidious in RotJ ending the reign of the Sith bringing the force back into balance.

It’s still bad.
@@frankducky6130 Yeah it is BUT it's an absolute classic now when compared to the 2015 (and later) Star Wars efforts.
('Rogue One' gets an honorary pass)
@@Mantis_Toboggan_MD. Umm...nope. Force Awakens at least has energy and likeable characters. At least I was pulled into the storyline. PM is great for insomnia. The story was boring. Jar Jar Binks was stupid and offensive. The kid wasn't a good actor (no kid is). Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor look like they are about the fall asleep at any moment...
@@frankducky6130 First of all, Jake Lloyd did his very best and it's bullies like you who drove the actor to such terrible place in life. Second, The Farce Awakens is a blatant rip-off of the first film A New Hope. I'd rather something with the slightest touch of originality than that puke and many more are coming to that realisation.
If you don't enjoy films like this, its very simple: stop wasting your time with reaction videos and leave us who do like them the hell alone.
Idk why Qui didn't just leave Anakin at the Jedi temple until he returned from dealing with returning the queen safely. Qui is kinda a bad babysitter.
I always thought it was because the Jedi didn't want Anakin there.
@@ryanjones358 so they let a kid into a potential war zone?
@@Thed538dhsk He didn't really have anyone else to stay with since his mom was still back on Tatooine.
@@ryanjones358 what do you mean? He could've just stayed at the temple until Qui came back. There are plenty of child padawans so they have facilities for him. We know they have a library and halls/libraries. He could've just waited there for a bit.
@@Thed538dhsk The Jedi just seem like jerks who wouldn't have allowed it. Also, if Anakin had stayed at the temple, the droid control ship wouldn't have been destroyed and they would've lost the battle. Hell, they basically DID lose the battle until Anakin destroyed the ship and caused all the droids to deactivate.
Qui-Gon Jin wasn't wrong, miss. You've seen the original trilogy, yes? You should know this. Anakin kills the emperor at the end of episode 6.
Yes yoda was right. Anakin shouldn't have been trained but hindsight is 20/20.
A lot of people don't love this movie.
Ps: Hope these recommendations didn't take up too much of your time ☺️.
Empezar a ver las peliculas de star wars es una de las mejores decisiones que tomé en la vida, espero que lo disfrutes mucho :)
Gracias! :)

Anakin is the chossen one and he does bring balance tot he force when he kills the Emporer as Vader and in so killing himself. He destroyed the Sith. For the time being, that is.
