Almost an hour of interesting video. Nice and quiet, but very instructive. Almost like therapy to watch in this fast world, where too many people take too little time for anything. I had put my wide-wheels Batmobile, bought in the early eighties and still looking brand-new next to my iPad. Thanks, Bob, I really enjoyed it! (and, YES, I subscribed!)

Having sourced a supplier for replacements parts we have informed our client, who we shall refer to as "Mr Juice Cain", that the cost of parts would be £35. He said "That's fine I'm a billionaire". We have since requested a deposit!.....Great job on yours as always M8, Stay Safe....PJ

Another bloody lovely job, and one of my personal top five favorite models!
I've been meaning to get going on my Bat Mobiles, I have five or six of them disassembled and I also have one first year model in original condition, not mint but pretty close!
You've inspired me to get cracking Bob! :)
I don't know how many people are aware, I'm certain you know Bob, but when George Barris got the call from Corgi asking if they could reproduce the Batmobile, he was thrilled, as were Corgi knowing they landed a huge deal which would become one of Corgi's all time best sellers and biggest money makers!
They produced nearly 4 MILLION of them from 1966 to 1983!!
So when they showed up to take photos and measurements, the car hadn't been clear coated. The good folks at Corgi assumed the car was matt black and a very few mat black Corgi Bat Mobiles in 1/24 scale actually went on the market!
These are the Holy Grail of the first run Corgi Batmobiles!! I've seen a couple however, it's one thing to claim you have one, and another to prove it!
The last one I recall seeing up for sale got over 1,200 pounds which today would be close to $2,000 Canadian! OUCH!!
Here's a couple of 1/64 Corgi Bat Mobiles I customized Bob, and there might even be a wee Rainbow Trout I caught when I was in my 30's I'm 57 on Friday...shhh don't tell! :)
Click this link Bob, I just threw some shots on here for you to have a look.
    bronzesnake.wixsite.com/truthsux
Take care brother, you do awesome work! I always learn something from you Bob, so thank you for that!

Hey Bob, I'll definitely grab your e-mail Bob, I always love making new friends, especially those who are as experienced and skilled as you are with my favorite hobby!
Those two Batmobiles disappeared shortly after I painted them when we moved from a rented townhouse into the house we built down the street from Lake Simcoe.
I brought well over 500 die cast with that move and these two little Batmobiles were the only cars missing, which only makes the mystery more...mysterious!! LOL!
I had planed on detailing them - the pink one was getting white detail pin striping lines with yellow/orange head lights and the green was gonna have either black pin striping with orange/red lights, or orange/red striping, as the original TV car had, with yellow/orange lights.
Not sure where they went. I picked up a couple more off E-Pay and as I stated, you've really inspired me Bob. I have the two 1/65 scale, and five or six 1/24 scale that I disassembled years ago in preparation to restore four and customize at least one of them.
I'll shoot you an email over the next few days Bob, then we can correspond,
      Take care!
      Jack - Canada ~'()'~

I have done one before as you can see in my custom Batmobile video so I expect I’ll just get a Batmobile bodyshell painted up to just do a video on the striping 👍
