Lol I can imagine the lizard men rocking up to the tomb kings flexing how their pyramids are shinier then theirs (along with some burns and yo mama jokes) immediately instigating a full on charge. Essentially a pyramid measuring contest. On a serious note does Settra want his people to be normal again since he essentially wants to repair and restore his empire? does that mean none of this undead shenanigans going on? well except maybe for him and his soldiers since being undead has its perks but what about the normal humans?
And I imagine Empire scholars telling that it were gods who built the pyramids because men can't do that even with magic. Those are the same people who say that there is a secret underground empire of ratmen. This question puzzles me too. He could turn all the world into a dead land for obedience and stuff, but does he want to be just like his sworn enemy Nagash who cares about nothing but his own life? Turning back into mortals doesn't sound fun too. Imagine death robbing Settra of any of his subjects now after he learned how cool is to have them all resurrectable. He would probably go and kill it then, and yes, he can do this.
@@SMT-ks8yp Settra seeks true immortality, which amusingly not even Nagash could achieve. He wants that so he can rule over his empire for all eternity, as after all he's the only one worthy of doing so. Regarding the rest of the empire, I'm not sure there's any specific lore there for his ultimate goals post-conquest of the world but we know the old necromancy magic(pre-nagash shenanigans) was common but not dominant. I suspect he'd task the Mortuary Cult with trying to fix or adapt the current necromancy Wind to benefiting both the living and the dead. Presumably necromancers and vampires(especially vampires) would be wiped out due to their connection and ultimate devotion to Nagash over him.
@@amesnfire1098 I don't think Nagash actually wants it lol. His approach is to kill/destroy everything in the world that he does not fully control so he would remain the only one alive and free. Maybe the whole evilness of necromancy, the "living dead" thing comes from this approach. Average necromancer does not want to actually get people back to proper lives, he needs only puppets, and magic does just this (or even gets confused over whether you want these people dead or alive). At least necromancers end up like that after being corrupted... and this magic also seems to corrupt much like Chaos, but into service of Nagash. One can only kill and enslave with this power, and in the end it serves Nagash no matter what. And this is the actual reason to wipe out vampires since they work on necromancy. As for the Mortuary Cult, according to "Liber Necris" official lore book, their goal at one point was to create a stable body made of magic (not disintegrating like demons). It is closer to Warhammer's alchemists seeking permanent transmutation.
@@Proud2bGreek1 If Egypt is geographically Africa then it’s African lol. This is the same rhetoric that is used to say Indians are not Asians but they are definitely Asians
He is fantasy lol! He is his own creation. It's called using your imagination. He isn't "Gyptian", He is Warhammer. He is fiction by and LARGE... He is a being that lives in another universe or galaxy that anthropomorphicicaly resemble humans and some aspects of human culture by chance. But he is not human nor Egyptian on any level. He literally lives on another world and the Nehekarans are on average 7-8 feet tall (Pre-Tomb King phase). SETTTRA DOES NOT SERVE SETTTRA RuuUUULES!
Tomb Kings, freakin cool.
So how do the undead replenish after they are broken to pieces? They dont kill that many living humans after all ;p
Magically stick the body back together, so long as it's not completely destroyed it can be done.
Love it, and the end of the day I would rather die like that over nurgles creations 😆
It is closer to Warhammer's alchemists seeking permanent transmutation.
more tomb kings lore mate
I went to sleep with this on and half of my Settra based dream was his titles
So, who is more determined to correct slights? Settra, or the dwarfs?
BOW! to me....
EVERY SINGLE TIME!
I wonder if any living beings serve him
He who can not have enough titles
Lets just hope GW dosent find this fine piece of content and declares copyright heresy

Wow me
An African like fantasy kingdom done right is all good in my book👌 you outdone yourself again !!
Egyptian, not African.
@@Proud2bGreek1 Egypt is in Africa and was the greatest kingdom in African history.
@@KatsuhiroHebi Geographically yes but Egypt is its own unique chapter that can't be compared to anything from sub saharan Africa.
They was kangz
@@Proud2bGreek1 If Egypt is geographically Africa then it’s African lol. This is the same rhetoric that is used to say Indians are not Asians but they are definitely Asians
No legends below this time
I know he is a Gyptian Pharoah, of course, but is Settra supposed to be based of Setti or Ramses or both?
He is fantasy lol! He is his own creation. It's called using your imagination. He isn't "Gyptian", He is Warhammer. He is fiction by and LARGE...
He is a being that lives in another universe or galaxy that anthropomorphicicaly resemble humans and some aspects of human culture by chance. But he is not human nor Egyptian on any level. He literally lives on another world and the Nehekarans are on average 7-8 feet tall (Pre-Tomb King phase). Compared to your human equivalent here on earth in the Milky Way galaxy where the average male height is around 5'8".
And too think otherwise means you're probably thinking too hard about it
@@klaiken989 i think he only means he was inspired by a historic character. Like so many of WFB's characters. And factions.
@@klaiken989 if you're not part of the community and seem to look down on those who are, why are you here? If you're so unhappy, then go to your safe space and hug yourself since obviously you're not getting any attention from anywhere else. How damn dumb does someone have to be to think that we fans ACTUALLY think the books, codices, and indices are historical gatherings of info on real people? You're not being smart or clever or anything.
I see Settra as Ramses II in steroids, he is a exaggeration of all Pharaoh's stereotypes to the extreme

Oh wow lol...
I am not angry. Sorry if you interpreted that way from reading what I wrote(comfirmation bias). Btw, someome "not from the community" wouldn't have been knowlegeable on Nehekaran history😉
