Exar Kun (Koon) tried to fuse with a structure on Yavin 4 that was pure darkside. The reason was because he had lost the Jedi Civil War as it was called, and was willing to kill everything. A design he copied from the ancient Sith, and weapon the Jedi were not used to encountering. He should be included in the debate as the best, but it is not definitive. When called "Dark Lords of the Sith" it means they're the "Overlords of the Sith", no need for them to be Sith themselves. More like conquerors of that race. That would be Sith shit indeed ☝️😅

The jedi sentinels always used the dual blades though so it was a technique well known, back in the days.
