List of possible things that could be in the box:
1. The decapitated parts of Padme and Shimi. (Most Likely)
2. Darth Nihilus' mask.
3. The Telos Holocron.
4. Darth Plagueis' dead body which Plagueis would then use to possess Anakin and get revenge on Palpatine for betraying him.
5. Something similar to the Ark of the Covenant from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
6. The ending of The Rise of Skywalker.

The box was filled with Anakin’s worst nightmare. Everything he feared and hated. His mother and Padme’s heads, sand, the high ground and the ending of Rise of “Skywalker. Enough Fear, Anger, Hate and Suffering to upgrade him to his full potential. No limbs lost, no burns and no limiting suit or cybernetics.

Anakin's lightning wouldn't be read as read is the lightning of the most powerful sith. he is waaaaaaay beyond that. it would be either read, yellow, blue and black or simply black with white edges as the dark saber. anyway, black surely as his eyes.

Anakin knew Qui Gon for about 3 days… so I don’t think he would break like that
This is why the song is called “Duel Of Fates” The battle between Maul, Qui Gon, and Obi Wan determined the fate for Anakin and the entire plot line of star wars. If Qui Gon survived, he would have been there for Anakin as a father figure, and Anakin might have never joined the dark side. We know what happens when Obi Wan won, and this is a great example of what would happen if Maul won. Great video.

I’m thinking it was Padme’s and his mother’s skulls in the box. It would’ve been the ultimate push and Maul’s promise kept. It would also explain why Maul’s death was so much more brutal in contrast to Dooku’s demise.

Ok. Maul kills Qui Gon and Obi Wan, makes a perfectly good deal which lasts 13yrs with Anakin and trains him as a Force-user. Anakin has a minor crisis of conscience because he dreamed of Qui Gon once; but; to get shot of Palpatine and Dooku sounds like equally as good an idea for Anakin as it was for Maul. My point is, they once agreed never to betray each other. Their aims clearly dovetail nicely, Why not just stay allied to Maul? Together, they had a better chance against the other two.
