Perfect in every way. The size and the extra weight has made me more accurate! The clicks are exquisite! It’s my first endgame and it might be my endgame!
@@RawMoto You're on a boardzy video and asking why someone would have 15 mice? What peripheral enthusiast does not have multiple mice? We are always in search of the endgame.
The Endgame Gear OP1 8K is Goated for me. Don't mind a wired mouse if its S tier in 2024. Everything from the shape, size, weight, hot swappable clicks, great light weight braided cable, and feature set is what makes the OP1 8K a fantastic gaming mouse.
I've used the XM2w and before that the XM1r and XM1 for years and I'm also mining the OP1 8k now because it's just a bit lighter and smaller, making it easier to control
Such a good mouse, I got mine from preordering the XM2w from 2022 and never cancelling it, they just refunded it and gave me credit to order this or the OP1. I'm glad I chose this, the OP1 seems a bit too small for me.
Tried a bunch of mice and still using my XM2we. 10/10 in every regard. High quality throughout. Side buttons on some of those expensive mouse are garbage. Will be looking to upgrade to the XM2W but genuinely don’t know why I should..
I upgraded to xm2w 4k from the Xm2we and the main things I noticed are the better new clicks/switches, latest sensor 3395 or whatever (Xm2we is on 3370 I think) the higher polling rate and the battery life seems to last slightly longer. But I have only been using 1k and 2k hz so not sure what it’s like at 4k, probably doesn’t last as long
@ I can definitely feel a slight difference between the two but nothing to crazy. It’s kinda like a 240hz monitor compared to 540hz, they’re both good but the Xm2w 4k has the slight edge over it. The most noticeable difference is probably the responsiveness of the mouse clicks. The Xm2we has 5.2ms of click latency compared to the xm2w 4k having 0.3ms at 4000hz. If you have a good enough pc for the higher polling then I would say its a worthy upgrade
Hey man thanks for all the content you do. I'm an older gamer getting back into it with my new pc on the way. I watched your vids to help me pick out my first wireless gaming mouse and decided to go with the Razer Viper v3 Pro and I'm loving it! Keep up the great work.
The title has shocked me completely. I'm in the OP1 8k boat because small hands but I say down with optical switches! Imagine if this one also had the hot swap feature. Also nice of them to give it out for free to people who had pre ordered it.
W Vid, I main the XM2 8K simply cause I got it when it was released and didnt wanna wait for the wireless. Might actually cop it sometime soon, we'll see.
I've been waiting on this thing so long I got it day 1 and have been loving it. It seemed very overshadowed and I didn't see many people talking about it so it's nice to see a reviewer giving it some love!
Engame gear is one of the best mice I tried, both Op1 8k and xm2 8k and they're really top tier mice and i am confident to say that they make one of the best mices overall, their software is lightweight and easy to use (and not bloatware), clicks and scrollwheel are really tactile and you can really feel every scroll, basically no post or pre travel, their quality is very good and they even make accessible and user friendly the modification of your mice by not blocking the screw hole and using semi hot swappable clicks or cable swap (in case of wired versions). The day the make an ergo mice (or taller) mouse is gonna be a thought situation for big companies as they're relatively cheap for their quality .
Literally what I'm waiting for. If they make a wired ergo mouse I can finally ditch my deathadder (great mouse, just hate the software/lack of accessibility).
same the minute i put my hands on it i knew it was my final mouse which is funny because years ago xm1 was my first gaming mouse and after trying tons of shapes and brands im right back where i started
First time using end game gear mice, this mouse is really good. I’m mostly a palm gripper, but I can easily palm grip this since I have small baby Asian hands, thanks mom and dad. Feels great, has very nice, crisp clicks and overall just a very great mouse. Love it.
EGG is definitely a must when torn between product and price. I have both Op1 8k white and purple frost. It’s been amazing so far, couldn’t recommend enough.

People who freak out about mouse weight are just trying to be something that they aren't. Anything from 50g to 70g is good to me as long as it's well balanced.
Endgame OP1 regular wired is by miles the best mouse I ever owned, being able to hot swap the switches is such a great feature it makes everything without it seem like a scam toy.
I bought the XM2we right when it came out in March 2023 and gotta say I don't like this shape the sides are short and has a very low front half where the buttons are. It's annoying not having enough meat on the bone per say. I'd consider it a small mouse that might appear bigger due to its width. Very hard switches on my model too it never loosened up and feels like you need to make an effort to click it's not a smooth feeling click. Hey if your looking for a budget small mouse it's an option, but I'd say there's many other options. There's a reason why people main the G Pro for the last like 10 years.
Based review. It's also my new favourite mouse ever. First time I tried the XM shape was the XM2we and unfortunately had issues with a super stiff RMB, but the replacement was really nice (as nice as the Kailh GO switches can be). I am now using the XM2we in school with the carry case of the XM2w 4k. The only "issue" I have with my mouse is that the RMB sounds not as snappy and tactile as LMB (damn it those EGG RMBs!). I think it feels about the same, but it's hard to tell, because the sound is so much softer and muted, kind of "dull" even. Anyways I'm not really noticing it in game/with headphones on, so I might not RMA it, at least not yet. I just ordered the magic ice skates from AliExpress, to see how they feel, since the set of XM2we Corepads I have left are kind of fucked and slightly too big.I also ordered some X_Raypad Jade dots to try them out as I have never treid dot skates.

Hey Boardzy. I purchased the XM2we when it came out to replace my original XM1. While I have enjoyed using it you have got me thinking about upgrading to the XM2w 4k. Are the new Kailh GX switches and the higher polling rate worth upgrading from the XM2we?

Viper V3 Pro and XM2w 4k are my favorite mice I've used so far. Have about a dozen different top mice including some sub 40g mice and a high build quality 50-60g mouse stands up just fine. There is unfortunately a robustness that ultra lightweight mice cannot offer yet.
Depends which shape you like more. I think the Viper is a safe shape if you don't know what you like and the XM2 has better clicks + cheaper price. Both essentially flawless mice though.
Does it use the same shitty scroll encoder like on the XM1r? I had to perform open heart surgery on it after ~2 years of daily office use, casual gaming.
Still rocking my endgame OP1 8K wired mouse. I've been using a controller to play but after getting this, i feel like Im starting to like playing in MnK because i feel like my aim becomes more consistent.

I much prefer the comfort of just slapping a mouse on there and not thinking about it. That said, I have rather sweaty hands so the zowie coating/getting oily seems concerning. I currently use a sora V2 but I feel it's slightly too small for my hand.
How does the XM2w 4k compare against the Zowie U2 and Steelseries Sensei shape-wise? I enjoy the inward curve for my thumb to rest into. Would this XM2w offer similar feel? Or would you recommend a different model for that?

My only question about the Xm2w 4K is whether it would feel wide in my hand with a claw grip. I would appreciate your comments.
it's a really pity for the weight....62 gr...I don’t know how you use mice over 50 grams xD......i'm thiking to buy another mice...but i'm undecided ......'cause i prefer only mice with 35 gr or less....i saw that there's the new Dareu A950 Air Lightweight with 35 gr......what is your opinion?
The fact you think dareu is releasing better mice than endgame gear is the real pity
@@boardzy i never said that dareu is better than endgame gear lol.... I just asked what do you think......but I would never take a mouse that weighs 62 grams and especially with that cost...that doesn't have 8k
@@babayaga.666-v8x I'll try it out, doesn't look bad but I question the shell/click quality on such a light mouse
if i wanted something like a slightly bigger sora v2 do you think the xm2w is the best choice?
Have you tried the stormbreaker cf yet?
Did not expect a Donk mention in this video lol
0:26 the disrespect 😭
please talk more about the skates
I had the xm2 8k for like 3 days. The side flex was horrendous, the scroll wheel didn't register like 70% of the input if I used it fast. Basically I couldn't reset a wall in fn lol
been an xm1 and xm1r user for 4 years, major major disappointment.
What color? The frost variants have worse build than regular white or black
@@GMoneyy3000 yeah, white frost
@@batorsztanity2827 unlucky, the frost ones look sick.
That scroll wheel thing was fixed via firmware update on November so that's not a thing anymore but shame about the flex.
Whats that purple mousepad you're using,
How do you feel about simple edit in fortnite, do you use it?
I think its good for people who dont know how to edit. Some of my friends use it, but no need to swap if you're already proficient
@@boardzy Do you play comp?
OP1 8K vs OP1 wireless guys ?
why motion sync off btw? does it add latency?
what size is the ulx put next to the xm2w in the video?
razer or superlight 2 ?
