The entire industry is a scam, in my PERSONAL OPINION, it does not cost that much for customer support... It's TWENTY TWENTY FIVE these are BARE BASIC products - with some firmware. EVERYONE has been indoctrinated and youtube reviewers perpetuate it, for money. A basic good quality HE keyboard should cost £50 - it is NOT TWO THOUSAND AND NINE

@@auzan2 Probably not, but he's got a point that (at least on the western market) wooting monopolize the mainstream HE market.
Here in asia there are 2 types of HE keyboard, outemu board users which are usually super cheap like the mad60 and gateron board which are usually better like wooting. Both pcb are pretty cheap for manufacturers too, making actually great HE like MelGeek Made68 Ultra or Nuphy Halo65 perform at the same level as wooting, while having half the price.
Sure if you buy that to the west you won't get the mediocre customer support, but does the $90 increase justify the price for it?

MCHOSE Ace60Pro is the best budget Wooting replacement. By Philipines and Chinese VTubers reviews, they say Mad Lions don't do frequent software updates and are notorious that they leave their customers hanging. Ace60Pro has better switches than the MAD (TTC Uranus Standard - S tier switches), It has better chipset, better scan rate, better polling rate, better padding, and better build quality. Heck it has some thocc as well. 0.1mm trigger and RT sensitivity as well (full layout).

No way am I spending £160 on a 60% plastic keyboard with mid Lekker's and less choice for decent HE switches (have TTC KOM for my WASD). By the time you mod a Wooting you'd be well into the 200's and it will still be behind in performance.

As an owner of the Wooting 60HE, I can recognize the overpricing on Wooting's part, the wage disadvantages of other countries, and the need for technological accessibility at all income levels.
People can and should be allowed to support the cheaper product to even out the playing field so that more "well-off" gamers don't gatekeep special features.
I disagree with the blatant copying of the Wooting's design and branding, but I guess it satisfies those who want a "Wooting style" keyboard.
Honestly, I bought the Wooting 60HE (way before the Mad60HE came out) for the brand name, reliable software, and company transparency.

It *is* hotswap. Own both the mad60he and the wooting 60he and they're practically the same thing. Even the performance, Leizerg and a guy called Yev has tested it and the performance is *exactly* the same. A lot of people are speculating that they share the same OEM, which will basically mean the mad 60he and the wooting 60he are the same keyboard just from different sellers.

Face it bro the mad60he and the wooting 60he probably shares the same OEM. And I was always butthurt about how my wooting 60he was built like a freaking 15$ keyboard and now we all have the answer. Wooting was just charging us x10 the price.

    Nuphy’s keyboards
The nuphy 75 HE ranked as the best keyboard at this time based on rtings website, they also have 60 version which I think about 100$
If you see the performance benchmarks the wooting and nuphy are the only 2 keyboards which are under 0.9 ms the nuphy event beats the wooting in latency of releasing the key (which was wooting strength)

I don't know why the release of a Chinese copy which is manufacturing a keyboard at a loss just to break even is making people get so angry about wooting boards? They are priced differently for a reason. If people are calling the wooting overpriced and overhyped then why are you looking to buy one at all? it has the same features as the wooting but the mad keyboard isn't knocked for being 'unoriginal or overhyped' all from the fact that it's cheap so if it doesn't work who cares. Also seeing people complain about wootings support being unresponsive. While I have a wooting and the support has been very understanding. You waited possibly 3-4 months for a pre order then can't wait a week for support to help😭. This isn't the first time madlion have cloned a board and just made it cheaper. All it does is ruin innovation by stealing profits from these companies that actually try to innovate. But instead people are trashing on Wooting and these other brands for a cheaper model existing on the market?
