But it's something about these low to the floor cars that get me so stoked and the community behind it is full of just natural hype as well. The love for this scene is something that can't be described.
Normal car guy: I'm a masochist; I own a BMW. G&G: Hold our beer while we go on another 6,000 mile road trip in totally unsuitable cars with bone-rattling suspension, bad NVH, rubbing fenders, likely poor reliability, etc...
I have never resonated more, and felt so personally attacked by a singular piece of content before. The photoshoot in front of the olive garden really put it into perspective. Who wants a widebody 350z?
meeeee ahaha! I get it its kind of ass to drive but if you build it right so your actually get great fitment (not like these)! Go look at how @Christiansmith does it cuz thats the proper way to do it:)
it's funny that the cops response to "what drew your attention to my car" was "no front license plate and no state inspection" despite the fact that both of those are details on the front of the car and he came from the back and didn't see the front until the cars were stopped, not to mention the fact that you can hardly notice inspection stickers when you're in motion and his car had two already that you couldn't identify until the vehicle was already stopped
And the fact the their camera truck didn't have a front plate, yet it didn't get stopped and ticketed. The cop had to lie in order to keep his job. That's how it works.

That feeling when you guys are cornering and the fronts just snowplow is the result of low-offset wheels and FWD. The increased scrub radius plus the weight transfer and also expecting the tire to accelerate all lead to that sensation.

I literally can't fathom how anyone can think stance is dumb or that it looks bad. Like I cannot picture disliking this look. And that just shows you how different some people are from one another. Its either for you or it isn't. I just hate how much hate and division there is is in the car scene. We all love the same thing, and that's cars. If we were all the same there would be no diversity, and that's boring. I love all cars and everyone's taste because that's what makes us all unique and I love that. I'm not some strictly stance car guy, I've had two track built cars so if anyone thinks I'm some stance fanboy, I'm not. But I've had a stance car before and damn do I love it. I just really do not get how people can get so triggered by a car that isn't even theirs.
I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but pulling over stance cars for dumb shit seems to just be a Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, some parts of NJ, and California thing. Most states don't give a shit.
I’ve had so many cars, stance cars, static, air, mini trucks, lifted, a little bit of it all. I really enjoy a clean stance car. Not crazy camber, no double cup crap. I don’t care for all the flashy stuff people do to them. I had a bagged 05 tsx I really miss.

mad how i used to love "stance" as a childish 15 year old, 7 years on I couldn't ever imagine doing this to my car lol
Same here, atm my GTI is on eibach lowering springs and honestly I regret it a lot on these busted Belgium roads. Feels like I'm shaking my car to bits. But visually I do love it
man opposite. I used to hate them when i was 15. Now 3 years later i love them (to a certain level, i wouldnt run over 10 degrees of camber but still) and i cant wait to get something that i can stance
Depends what you define as stance, I have Audi A7 with stock air suspension dropped with links as much it can be dropped.
At its lowest setting its "stance" and comfort its stock height and at individual it looks like 4x4 offroader.
Bottom line is = less wheel gap = better it looks, that's why every Concept car ever is stanced.
@@BorisBeer24 lmao, your GTI with lowering springs is still 2-3cm higher than stock corvette or any other sports car.
@@DuBstep115 I know but have you seen the roads in Belgium? If we had better roads it would be just fine. Might save up for air ride one day.
As someone who would never buy or build one of these cars I love this road trip idea. It finally answers the "how do they even drive that thing?" question I have from every car meet I've seen a stanced car at. Would be just as interested in seeing you guys do it with lifted pickups/trucks next time around...
I think that’ll actually be fun lol I have a lifted a Toyota with it’s 3.0 v6 and lemme tell ya, the only thing that really grinds my gears, is bumper to bumper traffic, she rolls on 35’s 😎
The rules for doing it in a lifted truck should be doing as many miles on dirt as possible. Or parking on curbs/planters at every mall along the way
@@cyruslever586 no way man, she’s a hill climber, and I park away from everyone lol. but if you haven’t noticed, everyone’s buying up land around Texas, there won’t be much to crawl on next decade 😞
@@rexmedina4561 what are you climbing on in Texas anyway it's flat af out there. Come to the desert
@@cyruslever586 oh you know, just the tall hills that rich people build and paved to look down on us peasants. Jokes on them when we come to eat them when SHTF. And sure I will, just need her tip top. IG? Fb?
This comment will probably never be seen, but that lifted/off-road styled VW at 33:56 made me think that battlecars should be the theme of your next road trip series.
Love seeing you guys explore this part of the car community! I’d love to see some interviews with static owners who choose to daily drive their builds, they are a fascinating breed of car owner.
As someone who's still in high school and building to stance out my 86, I can't help but say this video goes so hard LOL, even with the little mocking skits. Despite their negative views, I completely respect G&G's negative criticism towards the stance scene, and all their points are 100% true and valid. The Jetta, I think, looks horrendous but the TSX is honestly pretty clean. But it's something about these low to the floor cars that get me so stoked and the community behind it is full of just natural hype as well. The love for this scene is something that can't be described.
in europe VW cars are genuinelyh amazing they require little to no maintenance at all and they run super strong
sooo stoked for this one
Wasn't expecting to see you here.
@@SpencerReidBuchanan neither hahahaha
willeeeeeeemmmm
what in the actual fuck ahahah didn't expect you here
Eiiigh, literally just ordered one of your bags 😂😂
Normal car guy: I'm a masochist; I own a BMW.
G&G: Hold our beer while we go on another 6,000 mile road trip in totally unsuitable cars with bone-rattling suspension, bad NVH, rubbing fenders, likely poor reliability, etc...
I don't think you know masochism is
"just cleaning vape juice off my window" 🤣🤣 first video I've watched on this channel, and I'm here to stay lol
This is the funniest road trip so far. Just the pain of you two driving those cars make me smile
Previous owners watching this episode doing the Arthur clinched fist right now 😂
Thank god those troopers are out there keeping the roads safe...
Stance is all about the looks, it's more a form of art than a driving experience as a racecar.
it's funny that the cops response to "what drew your attention to my car" was "no front license plate and no state inspection" despite the fact that both of those are details on the front of the car and he came from the back and didn't see the front until the cars were stopped, not to mention the fact that you can hardly notice inspection stickers when you're in motion and his car had two already that you couldn't identify until the vehicle was already stopped
And the fact the their camera truck didn't have a front plate, yet it didn't get stopped and ticketed. The cop had to lie in order to keep his job. That's how it works.
muhahah yesss welcome to our world boys! ;)
Love your road trip videos 😊👍
Great time watching this before my 10 hr work day at the hospital! Thank you all for the funny moments to start my day. Loved it! I’m clicking subscribe!
Troopers, keeping the road safe. I mean best at giving out tickets
Yep those tickets made those boys safer 🤦
Yeah that was pretty ridiculous.
As a Honda guy, I’d just like to say that TSX is really clean
It's literally totalled. It's scrap...
It's on reps bruh, reps aren't clean 🥴
Zohair 💯
@@pierresauve8612 the tsx music setup alone cost more than ur car
@@MovingAlone no... It doesn't...
I had a 05 Acura TSX looked almost like that one. I drove it everyday for 4 years and never let me down. Love and miss that car 😭 amazing first car and so many ways to add to it
Finally, what a way to wake up on a Saturday morning!
Always enjoyable to watch. The plot, the laughs, the editing. Perfect.
Loved this cause i like stance. Build both.
Race car for when you wanna rip it & stance car for when you wanna drag it. I love living in the best of both worlds 🤘🏾
This was hilarious 😂 I not into the stance thing either but this was a good watch
3:52 "the japanese and the germans working together one last time"
😂😂
So cool to see your take on tail of the dragon. That place deserves more productions like this! I wish I had the time during our trip to set up some outside cameras, adds SO much.
Im so glad to see this kind of stuff back! I’m also diggin the tsx lol. I had a Jetta same year and model but running 20psi stage 3 and a built engine and man those are fun if you have the suspension setup right. With bags they suck lol.
my buddy has a 20th anniversary golf gti running 20psi forged everything. thing rips like a mf
I straight up cannot wait for more of this, that was so much fun to watch we need more subculture-specific shitbox road trips
You guys are my Saturday morning cartoons now lol
I truly appreciated Ben T's dedication to wheel cleanliness. 👌
i watched this as it came out, but i recently became the owner of a clean 06 tsx. watching this with a new perspective is so fun!
This is the best birthday present I could have asked for. This is my favorite road trip series so far! I was smiling and laughing the whole time. Thank you!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!
Oh wow, you guys are local. I recognize that Red barn Shell station, its only about an hour north of me. Not to make myself sound too old but I'm very happy to see young people doing something adventurous, making memories they can look back on one day. Now is the time, don't wait for tomorrow...never wait until tomorrow.
That feeling when you guys are cornering and the fronts just snowplow is the result of low-offset wheels and FWD. The increased scrub radius plus the weight transfer and also expecting the tire to accelerate all lead to that sensation.
"...the Japanese and Germans working together one last time." LMAOOOOOOOO🤣🤣🤣🤣
For me It’s not the drive that’s fun it’s what you go through while you’re driving that’s fun 🤷🏽♂️ but love this video! Good to see some real enthusiast testing out stance cars🙌🏽
I love your videos!!! I look forward to on Saturday especially these road trips! Please keep making great content y’all are so funny.
Thank you y’all
Well I will say this, one of my daily’s is a stance car, and it’s just the joy of seeing confused looks that gets me going.
how do you not find these cars absolutely stunning??????????????
They look badass but they suck at driving.
Absolutely dogwater cars more like
Two things
1. I feel bad for Ben's back in that static stance monstrosity.
2. I'd be surprised if they made the whole distance on one set of tires.
definitely want to see a video of you guys fixing these cars and making them right, especially the acura it has potential.
i just about died when he said "so the japanese and the germans are working together one last time" 😹
Honestly the TSX is kinda cool 🤷🏿♂️ obviously it needs some changes but kinda cool all the speakers and stuff seem pretty well done
The stance is life outfit change and slowmo is HILARIOUS 😂 love the videos guys. Fan from NJ
Tbh that Honda wasn’t too bad. I would definitely get some different coilovers for it and de rice it a bit. Looks pretty clean too.
I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but pulling over stance cars for dumb shit seems to just be a Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, some parts of NJ, and California thing. Most states don't give a shit.
The two driving memes tranformed you guys into two walking memes LOL
I’ve had so many cars, stance cars, static, air, mini trucks, lifted, a little bit of it all. I really enjoy a clean stance car. Not crazy camber, no double cup crap. I don’t care for all the flashy stuff people do to them. I had a bagged 05 tsx I really miss.
The production on quality on this is outstanding! Love it!
Woohoo, some Euro representation! I'll always have soft spot for the MK4 Jettas. Well done, Ben!!
Great video guys, please keep them coming! =)
Owned one for 19 years. 🥰 Had to sell it because overhere it is not easy to get parts. 😔
My biggest car flex is the dragon is only about 10 min away and I can travel that area easily and go right back home
This is so silly that it’s brilliant! Lol 😂 good stuff guys!! Love the outfit at the end; sure as hell hope advance Autoparts stock em!! Can’t will for part 2!
Loving this trip series so far.
i drive my stanced honda 400 miles every week to work. its not a comfortable ride but im about the style so it makes up for it.
I been waiting for this ever since you guys posted a picture of the tsx super excited for this trip
every upload is exciting but as a stance guy i love this even more lmao
