I genuinely thought of Sigurd as a terrible Husband and Brother early on in the game. I did the cheat route. Felt bad and then not bad about it. But this ending is pretty freaking sweet. I went with the affair storyline with Randvi where my character had an affair with her the entire time Sigurd was being held captive and being tortured and tormented by Fulke. Honestly though, no one seemed to be in too much of a rush to get Sigurd back nor did they seem too broken up over him being captured. Life just pretty much went on without him, with most assuming he was dead. I ended things after Sigurd returned as it seemed I had little choice. I was ignoring other romantic prospects only to have Randvi be emotionally distant and refuse to show affection anymore due to Sigurd being nearby. It was pretty much like the game was telling me “it was fun while it lasted but it’s time to end it.”
Interesting, thanks for telling me this cause I had no idea that that’s what happens when you romance randvi early on in the game lol but it at least adds some realism to the game by having her act distant & stuff towards Evior with Sigurd around.

I honestly feel like it's easy to forget Sigurd's good moments when you meet back up with him during the Oxenfordscire arc. He and Basim basically spit on Eivor (near the end of the mission where you find Fulke). You're treated like a sibling but then it almost seems like he's going mad. I'm not a Sigurd hater by any means - I'm just saying that on a first run through it's reaallly hard to be understanding when you feel like you're doing everything for him/the clan and he repays you by throwing the fact that he's jarl back in your face.

If you chose that then eventually when you go to speak with randvi there will be a heart option saying something like “let’s talk about us” & I didn’t choose it cuz I knew that it would have you pick again whether or not you want to romance her, but honestly there’s not much consequence if you were to romance her right away cuz you can still get the good ending as long as you avoid making 2 other bad choices lol (had I known that sooner I wouldn’t have waited till the end to get with her 😭)

I got to experience this moment! It was gratifying! I never pursued Ranvi prior. I now have two ladies. I never have seen any way to change it. Petra is fun and I can always win the drinking challenges with her!😜❤
I have to admit, this really is the sweetest ending. I made Eivor get with Randvi early on because she's hot 🤣 and also Sigurd was so annoying the whole game. And I made Eivor make all the wrong decisions against Sigurd because he was a terrible leader. Eivor was always supreme. But this confession, the acknowledgement, even the kiss...looked better than all the times I made them hook up 🤣🤣 my ending with Sigurd gone and Eivor not sure what to do now...god I'm sad this game is over now and I can never relive it for the first time
You can start a new game and do things differently you know. Each play through can be a different tailored experience. I personally make sure Eivor looks different each time. This time I might go for a shaved head, dark brown, no beard Eivor and do things differently from my last play through.

I remember the first time I played through. I didn’t romance Randvi until near the end of the game. So I made no mistakes and didn’t betray Sigurd. But the next? I made so many mistakes. Either way. Randvi is the one I have Eivor ‘romance’ or ‘date’. But I can never deny Ciara in Ireland. Lol
I had on the thegn cloak & pants & you can get it by finding the keys to chests in Wincestre, Glowecestrescire, or Eurvicscire. In order to get it blue though you have to upgrade it
SPOILER ALERT!!!!! Most people don’t know this, but you CAN romance Randvi in the “Taken for Granted” quest, without it affecting your endgame with Sigurd, meaning you can start a relationship with her during that quest. BUT, you MUST break it off with her before killing Dag. If you do this, Sigurd will not bring up the betrayal when handing over the jarldom to you. It’ll be like it never happened. I did this, and couldn’t romance/get back with her again until Gunnar’s wedding, which was basically pretty much the end of the main storyline/quest line. But it was worth it to not have a strike against me when Sigurd reviewed my shortcomings before letting me lead the clan. And now I am back in a relationship with her like before! Hope this helps! (I also had a short relationship with Petra and Tarben, but I broke them both off before Gunnar’s wedding so I would be able to get back with Randvi) 😂

I realized it was to early and chose the wrong option. So I broke it off. Will I be able to get another chance to be with her AGAIN sooner or later in the game? Just need a yes or a no.

It doesn’t give you a bad ending if you don’t make 2 other bad choices in the game, you have like 3 strikes or something & as long as you don’t make more than 2 bad choices in the game then you’ll still get the good ending

Possibly, but I’m not sure since when you break up with someone in the game they don’t let you get back together with them but then again who knows, maybe randvi will give you a 2nd chance or something & you’ll unlock some secret dialogue lol

I wanted to see the option when Eivor admits that he/shes like Randvi. I still chose the no-love option because it was "too soon" 😆 But back at the longhouse after the wedding, my Eivor and Randvi finally got physical, of course, broke it off with Petra prior to that. Thanks!

You can still do her side quest & still get this scene if you chose the option “now’s not the right time”, if you chose to pursue her during the side quest then when you go to do this mission you’ll get a slightly different dialogue.

I played TW3 years ago (but never finished the game 🤡) so I’m not fully sure BUT from what I remember, this game does have a lot of choices you can make in it that effect the story and the story itself is very entertaining and immersive in my opinion
If they wanted female Eivor to have a coarse voice, why not hire a voice actress with a coarse voice instead of getting a woman with a fair voice who is clearly straining herself Vegeta-style?

I've never heard much dialogue from the female Eivor and I'm kinda disappointed. The voice actor reminds me of the VA's who overdub Anime for US/English versions. Almost all the other female leads in Valhalla are amazing except for Eivor. Her lines are too stilted and dry. Male Eivor has his own issues too sometimes but mostly nails his dialogue really well with quite a lot of nuance when needed and also plenty of "I wonder if he was being serious or playful" moments in the subtlety of his delivery. Feels like female Eivor is just reading right fresh from the script and just phoning it in. At least from the few examples I've managed to hear out of her, particularly during the dialogue choice moments.
Male Eivor was originally planned to be the cannon character, just like Alexios. Female Eivor didn't even have audio for some of the final missions until a patch update was sent out post release. They made female the cannon gender because Twitter kept accusing them of being sexist and having a anti-woman work space. That's why she sounds stilted.

I think you have to romance Petra first & then randvi in order to have them both, so if you try romancing Petra then you’ll likely get an option that says you just want to be friends or one that mentions you’re already in a relationship (cause that’s what happened to me when I tried romancing that baker dude while I was with randvi).
Lol cuz some people think she sounds more like a viKinG and say that the male evior’s voice is too soft (though I personally liked his voice since it’s more realistic)

Maybe your save file is corrupted then, do you have another save file that you can load up?? Sometimes there can be an individual auto save that takes place not too long from your current autosave therefore you may not lose much of your progress from the game if you didn’t manually save it.
I dated Petra in the game too but broke up with her because I thought that I wouldn’t be able to romance other people in the game when I actually could have 😭

Possibly, but I’m not sure since when you break up with someone in the game they don’t let you get back together with them but then again who knows, maybe randvi will give you a 2nd chance or something & you’ll unlock some secret dialogue lol

@@kotoamatsukami2582 also forgot to mention that if you’re in a relationship in the game you can’t be in another one with someone else, but once again you can likely still get with randvi depending on the quest, but when it comes to anyone else (such as the baker) you can’t date them but you can hook up with others while in a relationship with Petra.
I wanted to tell her I was in love with her but I was in a relationship with petra, and agreed sigurd found out about my first betrayal I didn't want to do it again😳😳
I wanted to see the option when Eivor admits that he/shes like Randvi. I still chose the no-love option because it was "too soon" 😆
But back at the longhouse after the wedding, my Eivor and Randvi finally got physical, of course, broke it off with Petra prior to that.

You can still do her side quest & still get this scene if you chose the option “now’s not the right time”, if you chose to pursue her during the side quest then when you go to do this mission you’ll get a slightly different dialogue.

I've never heard much dialogue from the female Eivor and I'm kinda disappointed. The voice actor reminds me of the VA's who overdub Anime for US/English versions. Almost all the other female leads in Valhalla are amazing except for Eivor. Her lines are too stilted and dry. Male Eivor has his own issues too sometimes but mostly nails his dialogue really well with quite a lot of nuance when needed and also plenty of "I wonder if he was being serious or playful" moments in the subtlety of his delivery. Feels like female Eivor is just reading right fresh from the script and just phoning it in. At least from the few examples I've managed to hear out of her, particularly during the dialogue choice moments.
Male Eivor was originally planned to be the cannon character, just like Alexios. Female Eivor didn't even have audio for some of the final missions until a patch update was sent out post release. They made female the cannon gender because Twitter kept accusing them of being sexist and having a anti-woman work space. That's why she sounds stilted.

I think you have to romance Petra first & then randvi in order to have them both, so if you try romancing Petra then you’ll likely get an option that says you just want to be friends or one that mentions you’re already in a relationship (cause that’s what happened to me when I tried romancing that baker dude while I was with randvi).

@@tamiad4182 it worked initially but I but I didn't know that I had to put on the damn cloak. So I shut off the game and when i continued where I was, it bugged out. This is ridiculous.
Maybe your save file is corrupted then, do you have another save file that you can load up?? Sometimes there can be an individual auto save that takes place not too long from your current autosave therefore you may not lose much of your progress from the game if you didn’t manually save it.

Horizon zero dawn was a great game and i loved aloy and the story a lot , coz they were connected to each other but not this ubisoft crap.
Odyssey may have worked better with Kassandra, but Valhalla was made for the male version of Eivor. The female version doesnt do the game justice.
