- I install a Polini 70cc decomp head to match the jug on my 103. I build up and install a new decompression valve for it, and get that installed along with a cable so that it's easy to start! I used a full metal headgasket. I pull off the flywheel to show an important modification if you run the Treatland Le Partie CDI kit, machining it so that the crank won't strip when it's torqued. I get the timing set and fix the choke on the Dellorto carburetor as well! I included torque specs also.
Stay tuned as I get this thing dialed in for maximum rippage.
I built a motobecane with a 70cc kit and I was able to tune it with a 74 jet and it's a sweet ride.
nice that's awesome
hi Ben great modification with your polini cylinder head and on the flyweel. i had almost the same setup and had a 72 jet on it, a bit rich but just enouth. and for sure get another pipe then you will be surprised
Thanks for watching man! Funny you mention jetting, I just finished editing a video on that too haha. I'll look into pipes for sure, love to get a fat expansion chamber on there
Good work, rock on
Thanks man!
I have a 103 sp and I have the same problem, what thread pitch is it? I'm still running the stock crank on it, thanks.
