  • I found a great deal on this hot rodded Peugeot 103. It's a cool mashup of Parmakit, Polini, Dellorto, and Malossi speed parts. It needs some work though, The last time there was an oil crisis, all these super unique little bikes became popular, let's bring them back.

That's awesome! That drive belt system is just how snow machines work as well

Great stuff and thanks for the link, I had a 103 to go to school on age 14 when I lived in France and a couple of weeks ago bought another 30 years later which looks a lot like yours (from 1974 model VS.)
I have a few Big bikes but the 103 is about as much fun as you can have on two wheels not to mention the fun tinkering with them to get another 1 MPH out of it :)
Look forwards to your future videos on this piece of French history and wish you happy memories on the road!

I just got one of these and have been having a great time, but you're talking about them like they're made of paper and wax? Maybe mine is just kitted out but it's been pretty reliable so far 😅

Hey bro I need you help I just got one as well and I’m working to make it run smoother but I changed the muffler and since then it’s not going as fast as it was I also just chanced the fuel line and tap and installed a fuel filter for extra clean gas mix do you maybe know why I’m not moving as fast it’s almost like a stop and go acceleration. Thank you for your help

I live in Turkey now. A million 103s for sale. unfortunately 99 percent never put them on the street legally. still tons for sale to ride around the villages.
very Cheap parts. I seized my block.... charged me 30bucks to replace it.
Lots of parts.... lots of mechanics.....lots of videos...... but my problem is ...I don't understand enough turkish.
one greek guy Travel Moto makes a few vids in English. I took out the springs..... makes is really easy to start. I can use one pedal like a kick start. if it was in really good tune it would prolly start as easy as Travelmoto bike.
Just FYI...my little knowledge.... the left lever is for the choke and there is a lever on the right that would be for the compression release. I'm sure that doesn't matter to you....but I'll throw that out there...... hope ya make more videos.

Gearing way too high. Small sprocket in rear is key. 50 plus with a stock 49cc.

Hi the 103 is a great moped and you just need to change your exhaust to have a really fun one with the setup you already have.
