It's about right. I am planning to have a new build with the upcoming Ultra7 265k, the total costs is slightly higher than your build. Thank you very much for all the details, especially the cable management part. It helped to plan what parts to buy without all parts on hand yet. 🎉
Honestly I prefer how raw this video is. Detailed to the point where u mount the power supply and take it off again. It just gives us more insight on the case. Advantages and disadvantages of each case. And how each component fit in together. Gives us what to look for when building in a certain case
I actually learned a lot of cool tips and tricks for my future PC build. I don't usually leave comments, but this was the only PC build tutorial that in the last 15 years was more than how to put the parts in place. Thank you kind sir for this master piece. You made an A3 build that justifies the side glass panel.

@@Renegade_Rabryn the bad thing of this case is front pannel and psu take air from case instead of outside the case. imo that's huge fault of designers..
@@Renegade_Rabryn No, its the other way around. AP201 is more customizable, has better cable management and build quality, but its bigger. I have both.

@@nosql3576 Went pretty well, happy with it so far. Those panels made it very easy, one thing I didn't like was screwing the fans because the holes were not big enough compared to the size of the screws, meaning some screws are practically useless 😶. Another thing was the cables that came with my psu, a Corsair RM850, I really recommend buying flexible cables/cable extensions, it will help a lot. And finally i'd say the cable management is definitely not the easiest, at first it was terrible but I did change a few things and now it's better than it used to be. I also used two cables for my cpu so it made it more difficult but that's fine. One good thing is those little rubber feet that I really like, gives a bit of aesthetics to the case and they're very rigid, the case won't move!Overall I liked building in this case, I recommend for the price!
This case would have been perfect if there was a mesh front panel, so you can mount your PSU with the fan to the front. I also would buy an extra alternative front panel, but unfortunately there is no option.
what about an mATX build with custom loop cooling, with a water deposit? I'm searching for a mATX build that can fit my water deposit, I find this case really nice but I don't think that could fit ...
Just ordered mine today and can’t wait. I plan on doing a 240mm AIO top mount for exhaust, installing two 120mm on the bottom for intake, and one 120mm fan mounted on the rear for exhaust. Upgrading to a Msi 4090 Slim card should give me clearance. My PSU is an ATX 140mm, so should I do front or side mount with it?
Man i had a blast building in this case. Yours came out good too! Cable management was ez in this case. i used sf750 and i did need an extension for the 8pin cpu cable, but other than that, it was so easy to build in. Probably because i was planning in my head for the last week while waiting for the parts to come in lol.
I am having a hard time deciding what case to go for my next build, Lian Li A3-mATX or the Lian Li o11 Air Mini. I'm coming from a Corsair Carbide Air 540 ATX Cube case. I would like to downsize my case to a little bit smaller.
Looks a little bit sleeker than the AP201, especially if you go for the wood panel. But I feel like they forgot the PSU cover and they should just sell a variant that comes with the TG panel instead of having to buy it additionally. And the GPU clearance is probably hard to achieve since the PSU has to be pushed up as far as possible. How much of the cables can be hidden in the side panel?
Too bad about the paint on the side panel. I agree with you about the front panel, I would much rather see mesh that way you could mount the PSU with the fan toward the front.
Do you have a 280mm aio to see if it can fit at the top? even if i 3d printed some off sets im having some hope.. I want this case but dont wish to sell my aio
maybe check out the Asus ap201 was a tight fit but I could fit a 360mm AIO using a 150mm ATX psu. And cable management seemed to be a lot easier than this case to keep it tidy since you can run cables behind the motherboard. Tho max gpu length is I think 34 or 35cm
@@RainOrbs hmm I don't think it would work either. The design of the case doesn't have enough width I think. I'm in the same boat of not being able to use my AIO but I have a spare 240 radiator so I just got 2 fans.
Not an ITX case, it's 26.3 liters... which makes it even worse that there isn't any space behind the motherboard tray to hide some cables. ITX cases are about half this size.
I just built in one and you would be surprised! You don’t need it. There is enough space to run two case fan cables and the CPU power cable. The motherboard power cable DOES have space to sit behind the psu. Then. There is even more space to tuck cables below the PSU

I like the case a lot. Seems like the best choice for mATX builds.
I think so too. Either this or the ap201, but this one is more customizable and more compatible with a wider range of components.

Is it not better to make the rear fan an intake? Surely it serves not much purpose acting as an exhaust
No thermal paste?
is this all the fans you need for optimal airflow and cooling?

Could you put the psu up to the top of the case If you use a 240mm radiator?
Do u think it's better to have side intake or bottom intake?
you should pick jonsbo z20 case and its compatible with matx / itx and rtx 4080super
BTW, it is much smarter to put the PSU in front due to heat and airflow, why did it take so long to figure that out????

there is no room behind the panel for cables, you mostly have to route them above the motherboard or hide them below the psu

I don't have one to try out. It would be pretty tight. Probably hit the top of the motherboard.

I have a 280, it does not fit up top. The fan hits the motherboard due to the extra thickness. It will fit using the side radiator mount.
@@ubgradde What if you used a offset bracket to slide it over more from the motherboard?
@@RainOrbs hmm I don't think it would work either. The design of the case doesn't have enough width I think. I'm in the same boat of not being able to use my AIO but I have a spare 240 radiator so I just got 2 fans.
I just hate how these types of ITX cases don't have even a small space in back/side to be able to manage cables better.
That's cause they're trying to make it as compact as possible. Extra space would add to the overall size.

seeing as this case is clearly not intended for clean cable management, it's really beyond me why almost everyone insists on using an AIO in one.

The thermal paste comes pre applied on this cooler as it does on a lot of coolers. I think I'll use black in a white case more often actually.

This case is terrible for cable management. Feels like I'm in 2010.
It's not though. All the cables go out the way and they don't get in the way of airflow. They're just visible.
