Walking across Canada-USA Border in Niagara Falls on foot to American Falls 2024

I did this 4 months ago. It was a great experience. I walked over the bridge from the NY side into Canada, went into the duty free shop then walked right back over to NY. The next day we drove over the bridge and spent the night in Canada.

C a one walk on the bridge without a passport?obviously the part bridge takes one onto American line

Whether you just walk on the bridge and coming back, or actually crossing the border on the other side - you will need to show your passport or immigration documents.
