One of the guitar players at the 2004 Crossroads Festival summed it up best: "All the baddest dudes were there with the biggest egos. Hell, Eric Clapton was headlining. But when Beck went on stage, every single one of them dudes, including Clapton, was packed off stage, to be amazed by Jeff's set. No one alive could touch him." True then. Still true today. I just hope I, Jeff, and this shitty little planet, can hold on until the Royal Albert Hall on May 31st, 2022!

I miss this man’s genius already.

Wiki copy and paste...Beck's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame where they played "Beck's Bolero" and were joined by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page on "Immigrant Song". Beck recalled: "When I was inducted we were going to have Jimmy Page come on and play '(Beck's) Bolero'. But I didn't think it would be right for him to be playing rhythm guitar all the way through that one number. Then the phone rang and it was Tal Wilkenfeld, my then bass player. She was on the way down in the elevator and told me we should play "Immigrant Song". We were going on in ten minutes and had no time to rehearse. She said 'Oh, when you stop in the middle of 'Bolero', when the rhythm changes, we'll kick in to "Immigrant Song"'. "That's what I like - right on the hoof. Nobody knew, the lighting and sound guys didn't know, the organizers didn't know. I just grabbed the microphone and shouted, 'Jimmy Paaaage' and went straight into the song. I loved that. That's what you call dangerous, that's living on your reflexes."

woot is this Tal? with dark hairs ? 🤔
Wow wow and wow!!!🎶🎸😀
You know you're freaking awesome when the riff master Page is playing backup for you and glad to do it.
This iconic music legacy & all around credit to humanity will never be forgotten. Rip Father Jeff. Condolences to friends & family...
I've watched this video countless times and I was always fascinated but today is different, from now on it will be different. I'm heartbroken 😔 RIP Jeff you will always be in our hearts ❤️
Broken hearted and back for this joy in music..rest rest in peace Jeff Beck❤❤
So many great guitar players in the world. But there are only a a couple who's playing makes me tear up every time I hear it. Jeff Beck is one of those. God, I love his playing. Just magical to me.
That was a treat 2 members of the Yardbirds. RIP Jeff Beck.
Jeff Beck (my hero since teens), Jimmy Page, the drummer and Tal are wonderful. Tal was the perfect bass player for JB.
Read and learn kid: the drummer is VINNIE COLAIUTA.
I can't believe he's gone. Rest in Peace Mr. Beck. 😪
No one alive could touch him."
True then. Still true today.
Page himself acknowledged it in his induction speech - "there's Jeff . . . and then there's us mere mortals."
The "guitar god's" guitar God.
I just hope I, Jeff, and this shitty little planet, can hold on until the Royal Albert Hall on May 31st, 2022!
@Andy Butler agree. The virtuosity of the players you mentioned is well documented. Rock music is frequently powerful but not as technical.
What a perfect match, watching tears on my eyes, The Jeff , drummer , bassist and keyboard like a custom suit as perfect as possible . RIP.. This year begin with many of losts. Long life for the remains , The stars will always shine in sky.💐
There may be another Yardbirds guitarist on the stage, but Jeff Beck has always been my favorite among them
RIP Jeff beck, simply said you were the most we’ll rounded guitarist ever in this world. Prayers for your family god bless.❤❤😊😊
When I was 18 in 69 my friends and I would argue over who was the best out of all the amazing guitarists back then. Time has proved me to be right
1:15 it saddens me that I never had the chance to see them in concert. The year that I was going to go was when Bonham passed. They are my favorite since I started listening to rock and that was way back in the 70’s and still remain my favorite ❤ Love you guys ❤
Getting inducted into the rock n roll hall of Fame, a lifetime of practice and performance where 150% is never enough - The high harmonic at the end of the performance at JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT - PRICELESS!! thanks Jeff
Yes, Janet Jackson must be soooo thrilled!
Thank you, Jeff Beck for the years of Rock joy and thrills. You made my life, man!! Much love and respect.
Thank you, God for sharing Jeff with us! RIP guitar legend! You will never be forgotten!!!!
❤️🙏🎸🕊️🌠🎶🎸🕊️🙏🌠🥺😢💯👍👏
There’s so much good here, from Beck’s incredible playing to Page’s great rhythm guitar, and Tal and Vinnie. Holy smokes!
Fantastic!
R.I.P. Jeff. The greatest guitarist EVER. 🎸🎸🎸⚘⚘⚘🕊🕊🕊
Man, one ofJeff Beck’s many many talents was his ability to bring an audience right to tears with the ethereal haunting Where Were You, then savagely go on a warpath and rip your face off like he did here, starting off with a savage interpretation of Robert Plants war cry and slashing everyone and everything standing in his way right through to the end of this musical interlude. I miss this man’s genius already.
Legends! And then Vinnie on drums and Wilkenfeld on bass ... omg!
Jimmy is so freaking cool walks in and starts playing the Immigration Song 1:59 nice solo by Beck.
This is so epic!!!
Massive! RIP Jeff Beck.Thank you. We love you...
This is musical history right here.
A one time event.
Jimmy Page- twelve string electric.
Jeff Beck- stratocaster guitar 🎸
Two legends together again 💜 (!)
Thank you boys.
Well done. 🕉
Fabulous piece of rock. Played loud enough to give you goose bumps every time.
Hendrix and Beck-the best, although you can't compare them, they are so different.
Roy Lay you skipped Robert Fripp and Todd Rundgren
FAB& Gear
♥️🌟💙🎸🎸🎼🎶🎵
......and that’s how it’s done folks....MIC DROP🎤. Two of the greatest guitar players ever
60 and 70yrs old, who does it better than this? There's no excuse. They are still doin it.
Jeff Beck has never been more sensational -- and he rules all the time.
Can't believe he's gone... RIP man!!!
i am glad to see he has Tal Wilkenfeld playing with him, she so good and having so much fun
Give him another award in memoriam. We won't mind. RIP, JB. (Wow, what a moment!)
Really isn't anyone who sounds like Jeff. His singular in his sound.
Rest In Peace! Your life’s body of work and your presence as a generous person is an example for others to follow! Fantastic!
Tal Wikenfeld on bass!
Sofa King Hot!
Brilliant Bass Player.......
She's fucking phenomenal.
Wiki copy and paste...Beck's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame where they played "Beck's Bolero" and were joined by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page on "Immigrant Song". Beck recalled:
"When I was inducted we were going to have Jimmy Page come on and play '(Beck's) Bolero'.
I love her. She's on of those prodigies...so lucky when she hooked up with when she was like 18!
Have mercy ! It has been a blessing to have lived in a era of talented musicians such as Beck and Paige ! Thanks to you both for sharing you talents and gift's ! RIP Jeff Beck
