I met Richard at Rock Island when I brought my Dad's guns there to be sold after he had passed away. He looked at one of the guns and asked me again what my name was. I told him and he asked, "was Bill Kramer your Dad?" He recognized one of the guns and knew that it was my Dad's gun. Apparently Richard knew my Dad from the Columbus gun shows as far back as the 70's!. Richard went on to tell a story of when he followed my Dad home and proceeded to describe our house to a tee. He even remembered my Dad's friend, Rich and that he was a retired Cleveland Cop! This guy had a memory like no one I had ever met before. He was very knowledgeable about my Dad's Colts. It was a pleasure meeting him. And Rock Island did a great job promoting the guns and getting the best prices for them

Love the video. I recently acquired a 1965 model 94 after I realized what a mistake I made of letting my first go for next to nothing. This is by far my favorite rifle to shoot and this video has me even more interested in the history of these firearms. I never even knew Winchester made a pistol! Great video!

My father worked at Winchester firearms in New Haven back in the day. Still learning the history of the rifles then is most interesting.

I knew two people that worked there. They had the collectors guns that were issued special editions. Employees had first grabs I guess.

I enjoyed the video, was hoping to see my 1873 rifle, but didn't see one. I have a 44 cal with one barrel coming out of the stock. It is hex within the stock and round when it leaves the stock. Has a flat butt plate. Any info on this one?

Wonder what my 1873 Winchester 44.40 is worth now? You could buy these in Phoenix Arizona pawn shops back in the 1950's for 35.00....

Not everybody know the 73 won the west I think most don’t know the difference between that and the 76 92 94 ive heard so many guys say it was the 94 whitch was the most made close to 8million but they probably killed more deer than any other rifle

that second 1 / 1000 is the only one like it on the planet due to the fact it went back years later for restoration how was I not subscribed to this channel, only thing if you could possibly at the end do close up's of guns, your trying to sell guns its in your interest.
