I,m getting Wildtrak X Black. Booked 2 months Back. Already got notification that it got built and waiting to be Shipped 🤩
Already?! That’s incredible! I have a ‘23 Raptor and I had to wait 15 months for it. I was like a kid at Christmas when I got the message it was on its way, then when it arrived and was at the port and when I finally was able to go and pick it up lol. I have driven the Wildtrak and you won’t be disappointed they are incredible. I was going to get one in the end I went down the path of the Raptor
Are the windows on the rear seats one-touch switch? where it go all the way up and down like in the front?
@@kuren7778They aren’t on my sport model, so I’m assuming not on this model.
EuropCar gave us a Wildtrak in Cairns because of the size of our group … I admit that I was cynical about its handling and ride, but I can now see why they say the Aussie engineers have nailed its suspension. You also get so much more - totally understand now why people buy them.
For the record, we did the winding and beautiful drive up to Port Douglas, plus the Kuranda range, Gillies range and palmerston range, but no off-road except for a corrugated 800 meter drive into a farm. We did 700klms and averaged 8.5 lts/100 but I drove it like I paid my own money for it … yes I looked after it.
Now, this is the real review. Thanks!
FINALY, THE VERY GOOD VIDEO THE WILDTRAK X TANK YOU
Best in dept review 👊👊 Thanks 👍👍
Your videos are VERYYYYYYYYY AWESOME BRO... KEEP ON KEEPING ON
The best real world in depth honest review ive seen on you tube, Add one more sub
Thanks a lot. Appreciate it.
GREAT REVIEW
Thanks!
Love it
Are the windows on the rear seats one-touch switch? where it go all the way up and down like in the front?
Looks great. I was waiting to see your review.
I put a deposit on one
You'll love it! It's hard to fault, really. Just the price but all prices are going stupid these days. What colour did you go for?
@drivingenthusiastaustralia I got white, that was the only colour I could get this year.
Tbh it's not that much over a 4 cylinder premium pack wildtrak.
76 for a my24 wildtrak vs 81 for a my23.5 wildtrak x
@drivingenthusiastaustralia Noticed you were driving out on Menangle Rd. Getting the car next month.
Where abouts did you do most of the off road stuff on the video?
@@drivingenthusiastaustraliaI agree on both counts. I have a ‘23 Raptor and it cost me more then my Mustang!! I almost went the Wildtrak because I struggled at first to come to terms with 100k for a Ranger, whether it’s a Raptor or not. When I went to pick it up as I was paying for it I will admit I was asking myself if I’d done the right thing but since no regrets. I love it. My mrs on the other hand… she loves it to and amazingly loves driving it but won’t let me live down the fact I told her I was going to buy a Widtrak ( which I was) but came home having bought a Raptor lol. At present I’m no longer allowed to go to a dealership on my own 😂
Please sir are the 2 litre here whith 500 n/meter enougth to push well the weigt of the vehicle(2268kg) daily in the town and off-road, and thank you.
Nice vid review. Hi there, please add the below items to your new/next upcoming tests/reviews hands-on tests/show-and-tell on:
- built-in Fan speed test with loudness
- built-in Aircon cold test and speed test with loudness
- usability on car/ute headlights in the dark
- Kiddies/Babies car seat usability and adjustments
- head room and leg room usability for pregnant mothers
- central locking on doors and windows wind-up finger pinch prevention features if available
Thanks. I'll try and incorporate some of that in the future. Although, it might be a bit hard for me to test as a pregnant mother.
@@drivingenthusiastaustralia That's just awesome.... having a pregnant fairy tell her opinion can persuade more families to 'adopt' a Ranger. I know that most women prefer cars to pickups and very few women want to partake in a 'review' or testing... Anyway thanks a lot mate, much appreciated , love ya reviews still.
@@drivingenthusiastaustralia Please add:
- climate controls and test for demisting of fog in the cabin
- temperature of cabin when standing in full sun for 40 to 60 minutes and what cabin interior is touchable and whats not
@@drivingenthusiastaustralia Please add:
- Infotainment system demo to show how to plug in your phone and connect to Android Auto or Apple Car Play
- Demo using the wireless charging checking the times for cellphones while connected to Android Auto or Apple Car Play playing music
- Demo connecting the ute to the phone hotspot(Apple or Android) for whatever internet requirements viewing the performance of the internet connection
- Sound test and mic response test for cellphone call handling using hands-free kit (if installed) either via visor mounted mic or steering mic or infotainment mic
Looking forward to get mine latest early next year (with the steering wheel on the other side 🙂). Best from Germany!
Awesome, you'll love it. Thanks for watching 😀
Was this at belanglo? I thoight they were closed but i guess not
Does it have cooling seats?
I like the color
shame its missing the v6 deisel
Looks great. What color is this?
Cyber Orange
@drivingenthusiastaustralia just a quick question if you DP Chip the engine to 180-190kw and add throttle control wouldn’t the WildTrak X leave the V6 stock engine in the wind and only cost you $150@-$2000 more ?
$1500 I meant
Really does need to be offered with optional V6 motor .... USA models have a sliding rear window .... odd how we don't down under. Good review.
Yeah that’d be cool. Thanks 👍
Maybe in 2025 ... fingers crossed, Ford really have stepped up their game, for the better, long shot from XF and EA falcons LOL@@drivingenthusiastaustralia
Great review, my brother, just bought mines three weeks ago. This is the great design Ford has come up with.
I am super enjoying it.
Can the infotainment screen be put to sleep?
I like the X but …To be honest the 2.0 with 10 speed auto
automatic is not the best combination….i have chosen the platinum with 3.0 v6 it’s amazing
Yep, would have got the X if it had a V6. Ordered the platinum instead, do wish it had an 18" AT option though.
*🎉Brilliant Review - Ford Is Coming To INDIA 🎉*
Thanks!
Красивый автомобиль как пикап , вот смотрю и мечтаю о таком автомобиле , и цвет заметный и яркий ,
I have one in meteor grey😊
Why isn't lengthening the interior of the vehicle and shortening the body part a little optional? Everyone knows that the back seat of these vehicles is very upright and very bad for the passengers.
Will the people who buy the truck necessarily carry loads? Would it be bad if the chassis section was 50 cm shorter and they used this distance to expand the interior cabin?
The bed is too short already. The backseats of mid-size pickups are better suited for kids than adults. If you want comfort in the back seat, get a full size. Lots of room in the back seat of my F450.
Does it come with 3L
Unfortunately no
Ford ranger very good agile driving performance but more expansive to maintain when come to Rally cross country extreme offroad championship it loose behind to Mitsubishi Triton better perfect driving performance very good fast always winners in rally Dakar or Asia AXCR Thailand to cambodia
THEY SHOULDVE ADDED A V6😢
2.0L V6 Diesel should be good enough for Ranger Wildtrak for market like Australia, Southeast Asian countries, South Asian countries and African countries......I think 3.0L V6 Diesel and petrol engines should be suitable for US market ......
what does POV mean?
Point-of-view (camera on my head)
@@drivingenthusiastaustralia Oh ok. thanks for your reply.
Ford Z box
What a pitty we have no option to get it in America
But it doesn't come with a v6 shame.
A very good honest review
As a modern minded individual I cant wait to see the RAINBOW version and the very excitedly rumored tampon where the cigarette lighter used be. Go Ford.
2.0 l 💩
The tester did not mention heated seats or switches in roof for extra accessories.
1 it’s a bi turbo for that money needs the v6 lip stick in a wild trax shell
2 those wheels are so wrong
Embarrassing black sheep of the next gen family
You could DP Chip the engine then it would perform better then the V6 engine 🤷
