Thanks, Brett. These videos have basically helped rekindle my interest in what's new on the roads. Sowhat your suggesting bit more coin you can score a Hyundai n line Kona /seltos sp 1.6t same underpinnings but haven't they suffered complete meng failure well after 100km and warranty has long expired and Nissan Qurashi with Renault eng and Nissan's famous CVT now what could possibly go wrong post warranty .I don't think the Chinese vehicles will be as bad as those I just mentioned

Lads, i can now buy an MG4 xpower 2023 for 24k pounds uk...the Hyundai is trying to be innteractive and engaging but bang for buck goes to the mg4. Anyone who says china brands are shite is unsubstantiated bias...buddy has an mg5 taxi with 235k km....all good with it. Its like brits saying japanese cArs were crap.in the 70s....

Might be slower but I prefer the NA 4 pot. Sounds much better, and will last longer. Definitely needs the manual tho. Honestly, if you buy Chinese junk instead of one of thoae you're out of your mind.

I love my 5 door, dunno what all the fuss is about it being too slow...ever heard of 110kph? Anyhoo, Ive order a couple of Ramjets from Rocketdyne in case i need a little extra acceleration.

It's a bit frustrating that they got rid of the turbo. It was better on fuel, power and emissions. They had almost zero reason to remove it from the lineup, and if they had paired it with an automatic, it would have been the main pick. Most people can't/don't buy manuals, and that is essentially what killed the GT - it only came in manual. I think the ONLY reason it was removed is because it sold comparatively poorly (duh, no auto option in a market segment DOMINATED by autos) and they needed to be more price-competitive. Personally, I would have purchased another Picanto GT if it came out with the turbo in auto with the lane centering and radar cruise even if it cost like 26k lol. I already had one, but I'd buy another with those features instantly.

For that money a 40/20/40 rear split is mandatory…it seemed to spring to 60 clicks then kinda bog down a bit… gauge cluster looks blingy…

Love this car, will have to look at getting one. The hyper cars are almost useless on the road and may go the way of superbikes which ar now only track regeristable.

it used to only get 100 miles to a charge...after this it was at about 29 miles.

Thrashing a car non stop, the novelty would wear thin, especially on a long drive.
