I guess it's supose to be Pantumaca (which is like a full tomatoe spreaded in the toast) Here we usually eat a lot of Mixto too (ham and cheese sandwich) The coffe, usually we have it with milk and sometimes even with condensed milk. The orange juice is good, coffee and orange juice is not a good combo but we take it anyways 😂 I hope it helps and sorry for my english 🩵

Come down south to Granada or Malaga, lovely cities and much cheaper than Barcelona!

Correct, small cafés don’t really have size options like Starbucks. European countries tend to have a much deeper, much more embedded coffee culture than the U.S., especially countries which were under heavy Ottoman and/or Arab influence, and much of modern Spain was Muslim-ruled for most of the Middle Ages. Drinking coffee is much more of a social activity in such countries than it is in the U.S. rather than just something you do on the go on your way to work.

That's the problem. People who were working hard labour jobs on farms etc., *actually* needed that fuel for the day. It boggles the mind how anyone nowadays could eat a Full English and then be sedentary for the rest of the day, nevermind have lunch, dinner, snacks, tea etc. I would presume the most common breakfast nowadays in the UK is boiled eggs with wholegrain bread. Or cereal/ oatmeal + fruit. Or even just a coffee and a cigarette. There's really very little emphasis placed on it anymore. Especially considering people snack well into the early hours, or have dinner late after a long day at the office.
