One reason I suspect this house hasn’t sold in several years, and has dropped in price by like 50%, is the interior looks more like a hotel or an office building than a home. Entrance looks like a lobby. It’s very cold and sterile. I know Saddle River well and I’m always puzzled by the need of people who are not super rich, such as the owners of this home, to build super lavish homes. The guy is a doctor and his wife is a dentist, so, what are they trying to prove? I know a multi-billionaire who lives elsewhere in NJ in a comparatively very modest house, and drives a 15+ year-old Lexus because, as he says, it’s reliable and there isn’t a need to replace it. If you’re not a billionaire but live in a 25,000 sq. ft. mansion, you’re just a poseur.
