Either on the cab itself of on the frame of the vehicle; somewhere that there is bare metal for you to run a ground wire too and have a good connection to raw metal and will be secure for a long time and check if it wiggles loose.
My buddy actually got my engine running using one of y'all harnesses. got a question is there a way you can make the gauges work with the harness or the wires please help out with that
On most Gen III and IV the tach and speedo are outputs from the pcm. Gen IV can also output coolant temp, oil pressure etc though the can, with a BIM module from dakota digital. Otherwise, you want to use the senders that match your gauges, coolant temp, oil pressure, etc.
@@psiconversionyoutube thank you I might have to order those parts. And find time to install the freaking gauges that I've been looking at on your website. But I might have to save money and eat nothing but Ramen or cereal or just shoplift my food
So if i purchased a harness from PSI. I had to change my intake and the map sesnor will not integrate. Can i buy a pigtail to splice in from PSI. SUGGESTIONS?
i was planning on using red power box and wire to starter . i have 85 k10 . on the fire wall there is a needed constant power that is a fuse able link that needs power my plan was to also come from red box to a isolated block mount your two red wires and a jumper to block of k10 . the battery cable has a smaller ring terminal i was going to use to power my electric fan relays that i got from you . see any problems with this install ?
Do you guys have a person that will video chat with me so i can try and start my swap today? Got a PSI harness over a year ago and still have not heard my car run. Please help!!!!

If you put more info you might get a reply from them or someone else. I use their harness on all my customer ls swaps. Best harness for the price.

So both of the red starter wires go to the same starter terminal and a third wire which comes from battery?
Yes. You probably have a wire from the battery to the starter already. It powers the starter.
Hey Tim , I have a g body El Camino, can I use the pink wire the use to go to my coil power when I had my old 350 ?

i really dont want three wires on starter and i need to feed truck power too
I have used it went back to howell yours just well howell easy
The red wire coming from the fuse box can that be hook to the jump button im starting my engine with? FYI Im starting the engine outside the car
The red wire needs power when cranking and when the engine is on. Your jump button might only have power when cranking
What are some examples that I would connect to the ignition power single red wire to
any 12v key on and cracking power source (example on some older cars you can tap into the fuse block)
