NOT TRUE. LS4 ALSO came in both flavors. In 07, the LS4 switched from a 24x to a 58x. It was the true transition between Gen3 and Gen4, containing elements of both.

Just looked over my new PSI harness for a rear engine Porsche. Everything fits perfectly, since you were able to wire it for a reversed intake manifold, as well as a long enough cable for the 6-pin throttle pedal.

Can you just cut the belt and leave the pump on the engine after rerouting the vacuum line? Or do you need to remove the pump and block off the oil passages

I would have to agree, I shopped around looking for what to put my 5.3 in an get it fired up, ran across these guys seemed simple enough, people wanted $200 to clean out my vats on my computer,$400 hundred to tune it, these guys sold me a computer , $200 with vats already cleaned up, $700 wiring harness, that was 3 yr ago, been running ever sence with no tune,I’ve watched other videos of people doing this with using there donor computer an wiring harness with a lot of trouble, I show my project on my channel using psi goods

I have a Gen 4 motor with no harness nor pcm. Would it be wise to run a 4l60? Second question, would the e-38 Pcm and T42 the best option for my swap build with a DBW instead of DBC? Do you guys customize the DBC instead, and do I need to retune the PCM to make it work for a DBC?

i have The PCM with service number 12589463 is typically used in drive-by-wire (DBW) I want to use Drive by cable - does the unit neeed to be programmed for DBCable?

When programming the tcm can you just take the actual piece in for programming or do you need too have it installed and towed too dealer so they can program it thru the obd2

About 40,000 misinformed people who watched this video including myself. The plug is not recessed a 1/8” on mine. It is recessed almost one full inch. Hopefully helps someone and don’t spend a bunch of money trying to fix something that isn’t broken.

Can the transmission temperature sensor be replaced in the unit.

So is there a way to use one of these transmissions behind a small block or even an ls style engine not a factory combo? Ive decided to stay with an automatic and i got a 6l80 2wd unit essentially for free. I know the controller is internal and relies on inputs from the pcm so is there a way to mimic the signals that thebtransmission expects to see or....?

I got a 92 with a 6.0 ready to go i was thinking about running a 6l80 i got a local shop that builds them and said it can hold 1000hp Will i have any clearance issues with that transmission?

I replaced the passage sleeve twice and it’s still leaking from the connector. I have a new TECHM installed as well. At this point I’m tired of dropping the pan to address the sleeve. Plus the pins aren’t loose.

So im curious....does this mean a procharger aluminum intake with fuel rails would work on a c8 even though it was designed for a c6?

I have the following problem: I do not have a ground in any sensor and it is all new, when connecting a separate ground they do work but not with the cable grounds.

I have a 2012 camaro SS 6.2 with a 2010 6L80 behind it. The TCM wont communicate with the ECM. Took it to the fifth shop today and all they did was to loose my tune. Can you delete the vin and install the correct vin into my TCM,

If u have issues with the E12 and it doesn't grab. Apparently some sockets are deeper than others. What i did was grind down the E12 i had a little and it worked. When i first put the E12 it would slip off like it was to big but the issue was that the the curved par of the socket was too deep and the star pattern wouldn't make enough contact. Great vid helped me get an idea of what to expect before taking it apart thanks 👍

Looked up parts. Bare sub frame 400.00 rear diff 1100.00 and what ever the coil overs cost depending on brand. Probably be in it for 3500.00 total if you do it yourself I'm guessing.
