I did this on my 2013 Denali xl, went exactly as described, and the kit was 145 bucks on eBay. Thanks for the information.
The video was very helpful. Thanks for the tip. Great job 👍
To make less mess, could a suction tube/ pump be inserted through Transmission dipstick and pump out fluid that way?
Video when helpful to me cuz I need to know where do the transmission fluid goes I can't find the stick
This is a transmission fluid change, not a flush. Most of the old fluid is still in your torque converter.
Better to do a flush? All I've heard is bad things about a flush
@@acres90 If your fluid is black, a flush might not be a good idea. If its still red, a flush is the best way to get any contaminants out of the system, increase cooling, and give the trans a better chance at a long life.
@@WillRyder3rd ok. I have 45k miles on it
@@acres90 Full flush will be fine. This guys video explains it pretty well. th-cam.com/video/kmx2C8ya0Oo/w-d-xo.html
@@WillRyder3rdwhy not flush if the fluid is black?
Is there a drain plug on the torque converter?
