Same reason I switched to S24 Ultra from iPhone after using them for 17 years straight. The rounded corner slabs have become boring. I've been far more "excited" over S24 Ultra than any of the last 4-5 iPhones I've owned? It feels like MY phone, not an iPhone I've "rented" from Apple until they release a new one. The customization options are insanely granular, allowing users to customize just about anything within Android. The beauty is that customization is purely optional and by no means required. I was blown away by the options to customize the keyboard alone. My only regret is not switching earlier. 🤦

I can’t wait til under display cameras get perfected as they are my favorite solution to the whole notch/hole punch/Dynamic Island situation. I definitely think pop up cameras are neat too but having more moving parts in a phone, especially like that would probably result in a broken and glitched out front facing camera at some pint, despite the supposed durability. Also, having fans on a phone is a neat way to limit heat, keeping not only the phone cool but the battery. A hot battery = a degraded battery so having the fan is quite nice. Idk if these fans actually help cool down the battery but if they do that’s pretty sweet.

I still use Asus 7 Pro with a flip-able camera module and it is the best solution. No notch or hole in the screen. Main camera, which is always way better than front-facing camera in any phone, acting as a selfie camera. Wide-angle camera is very useful when you want to take a selfie with a large group of people. And flash light is also available. Moreover flip-able module allows to take a panorama photos very quickly and reliable, it scans around in less than 2 seconds. And last, but not least, sometimes I rotate camera module by just 45 degrees to conveniently take a photo of tall buildings or a photo from below.
Shame that the concept never became popular and it is completely abandoned now.

I have an ASUS gaming phone I don't use for gaming, and is no less amazing for normal use. Best thing about these phones is they have unusually large batteries and better wifi.

I know aesthetics are subjective, but I dig these designs. Very refreshing to see something different in the phone scene! Great Job Red Magic!

I've been alive for 21 years and I never thought they'd deliver a bezel less smartphone so flawlessly. Been thinking of getting it after a while during discount season.

      There are most certainly bezels.

@@youdontneedmyrealname its like me saying "I didn't think the graphics in games would look so realistic, its like real life" and you replying with a "but they dont look like real life"

I own the Red Magic 8 Pro. Go ahead. These phones are real beauties. The black version of the 9 Pro is so sleek.. I'm barely containing myself from upgrading.

@gametester8769 there are definitely decent sized bezels on this phone bro

Thank god it has nice fat bezels. Those wrapped glass edged phones are such a horrible idea. Not that I'd spend this kind of money and not put a case on it anyways.

It looks like it’s a bit thick but with no camera bump and the blower fan it makes up for it.
And it’s a really good gaming phone plus a really good looking phone.

Those under glass cameras look absolutely wild, though im sure they had to compromise space which could have been used to further improve the picture quality with more depth in the camera module.

it's crazy how much those under-screen cameras have improved! i love seeing improvements like these, it really makes me wonder what we'll see over the next few years
