  • There is no camera bump in the future. Current pricing of the RedMagic 9 Pro here: na.redmagic.gg/pages/redmagic... I enjoy gaming phones, since its usually the smartphones built for gaming, like this RedMagic 9 Pro where we see new technology, and designs, really shine.
This RedMagic 9 Pro has a built in RGB Turbo fan that spins at 22,000 RPM to cool down the internal processor. It also has a headphone jack AND 80watt charging AND an under screen camera. (5th generation) And no camera bump on the back.
If this is what the future looks like - I'm all for it.
To win one of the 2 non-damaged Red Magic 9 Pro's in this video just leave any comment on this video - and Ill pick 2 (two) Random winners in the next 7 days. The winners will be notified publicly with a response on their comment from my verified TH-cam channel.

I've been far more "excited" over S24 Ultra than any of the last 4-5 iPhones I've owned? It feels like MY phone, not an iPhone I've "rented" from Apple until they release a new one. The customization options are insanely granular, allowing users to customize just about anything within Android. The beauty is that customization is purely optional and by no means required. I was blown away by the options to customize the keyboard alone. My only regret is not switching earlier. 🤦

I absolutely love the microscope view of the under-screen camera. Seeing the tiny individual LEDs next to the already tiny camera gives you a good perspective on how insane the engineering and manufacturing of those screens must be, even more so if you keep in mind that all of them are individually addressable.

Okay, the no camera bump thing actually made my jaw drop. I can't believe the amount of stuff they could fit inside this phone, meanwhile other brands keep removing features like headphone jacks because "there is no space". Although I'm not sure I'll upgrade to this in a good while since I have the redmagic 8 pro and, as this test showed, it's really sturdy! I can tell it's gonna last many many years.

If you are under 10 and believe portrait orientation is the best then the camera position is fine otherwise they should be in the middle of the back. This will reduce vibration. Is there some technical reason for not placing them there?
Why glass backs? I would gladly forgo wireless charging for the better cooling of aluminium. Then there might not be a need for the added complexity of the fan.
Apart from that, I like it

What is missing here is some sort of docking station for this phone so it could be used as "desktop", at least in some form. Modern phones do have enough power to be used as such, it would be really nice.

I still use Asus 7 Pro with a flip-able camera module and it is the best solution. No notch or hole in the screen. Main camera, which is always way better than front-facing camera in any phone, acting as a selfie camera. Wide-angle camera is very useful when you want to take a selfie with a large group of people. And flash light is also available. Moreover flip-able module allows to take a panorama photos very quickly and reliable, it scans around in less than 2 seconds. And last, but not least, sometimes I rotate camera module by just 45 degrees to conveniently take a photo of tall buildings or a photo from below.
Shame that the concept never became popular and it is completely abandoned now.
