Thank you guys for all the love and watching! Miss ya'll and hoping to do some livestream soon. Stay tuned! ❤️🎥 All gear mentioned can be found here: dslrvideoshooter.com/entire-video-studio-on-one-cart/
In one year from now “this is the 700th installment of Caleb turns something into a studio” …. Can’t wait for all the future content!! Also, love the cup holders 🔥
My "R2Y2" as I call it holds all 5 of my cameras, lights and charging stations for my studio. Best thing I ever did, NO MORE tripods and light stand clutter!! Great build Caleb!!
So many great ideas Caleb, I see your influence everywhere. While visiting a friend's studio yesterday, I took one look at their desk setup and said, "Caleb Pike?" and of course his response was "Yep".
THANK YOU for the idea of clamping the stands to the cart. I now have a production cart setup with wireless audio, a monitor and video receiver, laptop, and enough shelf space and lighting for product shots. This video was my bolt of inspiration!
Honestly, you keep exceeding my expectations with each installment! every time, I am like "this is the ultimate setup", yet you keep coming up with more and more
Just when you think he can't think of anything else that would possibly be better or more portable this guy just comes through with a banger again LOL Nice job Caleb!
you can easily make a Scabbard/sheath for your Mic Boom from a section of suitable diameter PVC (or ABS) pipe, mounted in a similar fashion to the stands, with the lower end capped.
Bro thank you so much for this! I was trying to figure out how to attach a monitor/tv to a cart to create a portable livestreaming station. I pretty much already had everything that I needed to create my version ... I just needed to see a video to show me how to put everything together the correct way! I use a portable power station in the bottom shelf since I have an atem extreme. Thanks again!!
Won't the shotgun mic pick up room reverb unless sound treated ??..for a mobile rig I'd imagine it would be important to get something that would reject the reverb
Is it possible for you to make a playlist with all of these setups? Very interested in comparing and contrasting the multiple setups and tailoring it to my needs!
I just bought this cart for production after it popped up in my amazon recommended! Super happy to see that you of all people took the time to plan out some of the best ways to kit it out!
I would love to know what that beastly thing is that you mentioned would be coming soon in reference to the cart not being as robust as you would like.
The king of the "All-In-One" build is back! You know Caleb, I've been subbed to your channel probably since the Canon t2i came out, and it's honestly hilarious to me to see your influence on these builds reach massive channels and ripple through the entire industry. It's hilarious because when I first started watching, we were all just a bunch of guys trying to figure out how to get "the film look" buying cheesy plastic cameras rigs and "nifty fifties" 😆 Now look at you... setting trends that we all look forward to. Thanks for all the great work throughout the years bro. I love this channel
I built an earlier set up and am 100% building a cart like this! At the end you mentioned a more robust cart in an upcoming video. I agree that this cart will be. A little small for what I will need. I am ready to order a cart and get started, I would love to know what cart you are going to use next!
Obviously could be added off-cart as well, but I have been using one of those large collapsable reflectors in my studio with stand clip. Could possibly add that or another "utility" arm on the last available leg.
The 5" casters destabilizes the cart (it even starts making squeezy noises as I push it around). If you need that kind of rolling power I say get something more robust entirely, otherwise stock wheels are good on this cart esp. if you're going for something more nimble and lightweight.
Soooo good Caleb! As someone working in a multi-floor open office with two halls, we could totally use something like this. Much better than the other "infommercial" sponsored versions of these setups that pop up a few months later on certain channels! Ahem. Your videos are always a must-watch. Would love to see some kind of international version of a video where you go through some of the most reliable/useful grip pieces you recommend, those pieces are really hard to discover without knowing all the names of things and what's out there.
Thanks so much, Caleb, for building and sharing this fantastic setup idea. It came exactly when I was searching for another mobile solution for my gear and for a fast build up solution for my small office. You are so inspirational! Great job!!!
make one for streaming like one used for building a machine with has overhead shot and face cam. and a computer or moniter or pc (like one husky table with drawer )
This is easily my favorite channel on TH-cam. Thank you for consistently putting out awesome and unique content! I am actually in the market for a production cart so I will hold off until your beastly build drops!
I've been meaning to build something like this for my streaming setup. Ideally with some kind of collapsing legs (like an ambulance stretcher) so I can get it in and out of a station wagon without disassembly.
Why did you get a less good audio when you where mooving further from the camera but extended the boom ? Will also wait for a robust kit with a larger surface for moore gears.
OK Caleb, I’m nearly complete with my cart set up. I have one problem though that I’m not sure how to deal with. The mini clamps that you suggested are slipping and causing my poles to lean due to the rubber padding adhesive coming loose from the clamps. I was wondering if you have encountered the same issue and if so what you have done to deal with it. If I can’t get those to work I may have to spend the extra money for more full-size super clamps. Oh, and one more thing. You mentioned at the end of your video something about a sturdier cart that you had found. I would be interested to know which one that was as I agree with you this one is a little flimsier than I like when it’s all loaded up. Appreciate any thoughts you may have. Thank you!
Been looking at all your videos and others on here. However I have a question. How do you setup a studio for less sitting talking head but to stand and walk around a little to show things. I know very shallow depth is popular but how would you setup an studio cam for more movement?
@DSLR Video Shooter Yet another fantastic Caleb build! Thank you for sharing your wonderful builds. So far, I've made your studio on a desk and in a Pelican case. Going to share my mods, right after I finish grading final exams (ugh). But first, I must catch up on videos by Caleb & a few others, repaint the living room, organize my sock drawer...
All I can say is.. Great minds think alike! I also screwed in a Kupo mounting plate on top of my cart to set an extra mount for mics or cameras or lights.. good video great work!
this is fantastic! i will never ever build it! love it!
We keep on wanting to make one of these builds but then you go make something even cooler! 🤣
So true. I can’t keep up with his genius.
agreed!! :)
This is the youtube crossover comment I never knew I needed. Hope the move is going/went well!
Just cast everything in epoxy
Thank you guys for all the love and watching! Miss ya'll and hoping to do some livestream soon. Stay tuned! ❤️🎥 All gear mentioned can be found here: dslrvideoshooter.com/entire-video-studio-on-one-cart/
What about the heavy duty cart you mentioned?
What microphone are you using for the voice over? Sounds noticeably better than the one on the cart.
Caleb is like " Oh, NOW everybody's copying my one stand setup huh? Hold my beer..."
so true :D
Cart holds my beer
But what gets me upset is that the other youtubers are not giving him credit
@@MiguelReyes-sx1vs if only Caleb was Canadian, they would include him more....
@@OmarCordy you are ABSOLULETLY right!!!!
Hey friends. Any tips on how to cut the carpet to match the trays exactly?
In one year from now “this is the 700th installment of Caleb turns something into a studio” …. Can’t wait for all the future content!! Also, love the cup holders 🔥
😂 You know it'll happen one day!
Would you recommend swapping out the Deity mic for the Sennheiser 416?
Another winner! Can't wait for "Entire Studio in an Altoids Tin" to drop!
CONGRATULATIONS on y’all’s new addition to your family !! 👶🏼
Thank you so much Sam!!! Appreciate you!
My "R2Y2" as I call it holds all 5 of my cameras, lights and charging stations for my studio. Best thing I ever did, NO MORE tripods and light stand clutter!! Great build Caleb!!
Next time: today we're going to build an entire studio in ONE CAR 😂
It’s not an entirely stupid idea
Actually on the list... Don't know if I'll do it but definitely considered!
@@dslrvideoshooter This serie of videos is great Caleb, thanks for such research and imagination !
Amazing idea
Okay but that would be such a next level dash cam!
Brilliant- and the cup holders really take it to 11. 👍
So many great ideas Caleb, I see your influence everywhere. While visiting a friend's studio yesterday, I took one look at their desk setup and said, "Caleb Pike?" and of course his response was "Yep".
I love this series where you build an entire studio into things! Keep up the great work
Thank you Conor!!!
This is pretty sweet! I could see news crews using this setup.
I film outside usually as I travel the U.S. full-time in an RV. Looking forward to the more robust setup!
THANK YOU for the idea of clamping the stands to the cart. I now have a production cart setup with wireless audio, a monitor and video receiver, laptop, and enough shelf space and lighting for product shots. This video was my bolt of inspiration!
When is the strong cart video coming out?!? Also can you mention what this beast is? I NEED this setup
Very cool video, please do you have a video about a studio at a reasonable cost ?
This is badass! And I love the way you show it and then explain the build! Well done and thanks for sharing.
Great tip on light stand -> boom pole! I've got a bunch of old stands I no longer use (switched to c-stands) but now they can be useful again!
Yep… building this immediately! And using the links provided in the description! 😉
You're definetely the "MacGyver of video setups" ;-) I have seen many of your videos about gear and setups by now and I love them all!
At this rate, we are definitely going to get a "how to turn your sofa into an all-in-one film set up so you never have to get up" by Caleb.
Honestly, you keep exceeding my expectations with each installment!
every time, I am like "this is the ultimate setup", yet you keep coming up with more and more
It’s the ultimate of ultimate of ultimate, which we know could only happen in Caleb’s universe 😆
@@YiowMade 🤣🤣

Man, that is a great build on the Olympia Cart! This is the go to cart for sound guys because it's so inexpensive and easy to mod out. Great job!
Excellent overview.
I do something similar with my Magliner Gemini Jr, but it isn't nearly as quick to break down.
The mobile studio is so helpful whenever I need to film myself for videos. I currently use a mobile tripod as my base for my setup.
You are one of the best TH-camr who not only have good content but also have good shooting
Decided I'm going to do this at work. Planning on adding a teleprompter as well as some other stuff. Great video!

i love watching the studio videos you share, very creative and professional, thank you for sharing this meaningful video👍
Caleb I'm loving this. Pls do the car studio sometime!!
Until you build a studio on a plane (for those "on the fly" shoots!) I refuse to be impressed! Awesome work again Caleb, thanks for the inspiration
I volunteer to supply a plane! 😜

Awesome! We've already adapted several of your past build ideas for our college's mobile Zoom carts. Can't wait to see the upcoming beastly build!
*I looked up "brilliant" in a dictionary, and "Caleb Pike @ DSLR Video Shooter" was recommended.* 💡👍🏾
Wonderful you did mobile studio. So Smart. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and details gear
Thanks for watching!
future installments of these custom build videos could be niche specific. testimonial shooters case/cart, event shooters pack, etc
I already bought that cart. Now you’ve given me better ideas of how to make it more useful.
Won't the shotgun mic pick up room reverb unless sound treated ??..for a mobile rig I'd imagine it would be important to get something that would reject the reverb
This is so awesome! Love these setup videos, you’re helping and inspiring a lot of people
Does anyone have advice on cutting the carpets accurately like the ones in the video?

also, I now makes sense for why those specific clamps were recommended under "people who bought this also bought"
This is INSANE!!!
Just Loved this, Caleb.

I wanted one for a photo setup. Your videos come in handy.

In the process of building a modified version of your acoustic blanket setup. Thank you sir.

Your 1/4 to 1/4 Male Bolts link takes me to audio cables. I already have them but was curious which ones you used.
Here we go again…crazy fantastic useful setup that I love!
Now I’m just eagerly waiting for “Entire Film Crew in a Box” 😅

I have no reason (yet) to buy these things for work, but I get excited when these build videos come out.
I am currently working on one as my affordable audio cart setup. I am working on smaller projects where I don't need as much gear.
The GOAT. Love this setup so much, Caleb!
If this was all you ever did I’d keep watching. You’ve inspired a whole new genre of Video makers.
I've been meaning to build something like this for my streaming setup. Ideally with some kind of collapsing legs (like an ambulance stretcher) so I can get it in and out of a station wagon without disassembly.
Awesome! You gave me an idea for my monitor speaker and stand . I’m trying to do the same thing for my keyboard and gigs.
Why did you get a less good audio when you where mooving further from the camera but extended the boom ? Will also wait for a robust kit with a larger surface for moore gears.
This takes the cake. I've used some of the others to build studio/workspace on a rolling standup/sit-down desk.
Any tips on cutting the carpet perfectly to fit?

Fantastic. Looking for something that I can take out with me to film me drawing and painting outside from nature. I love the idea of the cart here
wow - knocked it out the park *AGAIN* Caleb 🤩 ..quick question if pos - could you pls confirm what camera AND lens you used for the wider shots??

this is fantastic Caleb!
All I can say is.. Great minds think alike! I also screwed in a Kupo mounting plate on top of my cart to set an extra mount for mics or cameras or lights.. good video great work!
Ordered most of it!! Great concept. Thanks. Instantly become a 2 man crew.
I lieu of the heavy duty glue gun, what glue would you recommend to adhere the carpet to the cart shelf?
How did you get the stock casters off and install the larger ones? I can’t figure out how to get mine off.
This is great!! I might have use this to have in my shop when recording videos for my channel! I love how compact this is! Thanks for the video!
Love these videos Caleb! I end up watching them over and over as there's so much goodness to learn. Can't wait for the next one!
