Question maybe someone can answer I have the same cart just got it two days ago. I have the x-top also thought it would fold down I see screws on each side does everyone here take the side off and just leave it off? Also when you take the screws out does the panel bend down?
Hey Kevin! On the cusp of pulling the trigger for an Inovativ cart and I'm torn between the Voyager EVO and NXT. A few things that drastically affect the price point for these are: 1. The height adjustability feature for the top shelf? Does your NXT model have this? If it doesn't... do you wish it did or would it conceivably help you? 2. The "nicer" wheels add a big $400+ to the NXT. Do you have the upgraded wheel kit? If you don't... do you wish you did and would you notice? Those two features seems to be the biggest differentiator in an NXT that costs. $3,384 and one that costs $2,644 (with the $194 rail mount plates). Hope you can provide some insight as to whether these expensive additions would really make life much different. Thanks!
Nothing crazy - just connect an SSD with a pre made folder structure. Most times I’m just connecting the capture media and backing footage up to the SSDs. If I can a DIT on set, I might have he/she go a few steps further by importing footage into my editing software, adding a base color grade, and prepping the project to be edited. But most times I’m simply just connecting a drive and copying the footage over.
Hey, thanks for the review - just got one during Inovativ's sale. Question - the cart's pretty tall, do you ever sit at it when using it as a workstation? I feel like even on setting '1' it's too high...
I was researching this cart and saw that you had the Atomos Sumo 19 monitor. I was wondering if you still had it and would you recommend it for on-site production work today? Also I have heard it was a bit "soft"...could you pull focus on it? Thanks for your thoughts!
I have the Apollo. People ask me al the time why I paid so much for cart. 1) It's my cart. I want to be happy with it. I want it to be something to be proud of. 2) I WILL NEVER NEED ANOTHER CART AGAIN. it will seriously last me a life time. plus these carts always get tons of compliments which is nice haha
Hey Arther I'm seriously considering the Apollo 40". I don't see myself flying with it, but I would be breaking down all the way to go into a car a couple times a week. Is the weight when loading a major pain compared to the Voyager Evo? Looks like 25 lb. in difference. Wish I could just try it out but am forced to buy online. Any input would be welcomed. Thank you.
I just can't understand anyone getting excited over a cart. Now, Pelican cases are a different thing all together. 🥰 They're almost as hot as a craft service table with Red Vines AND Skittles!
Great review! I just ordered a new Voyager 36 after having the Scout 42 for a few years. Excited to have the smaller size!
This influenced my decision to purchase this today. Appreciate your effort in making this. And, love the hacks!
Just got one, used but only 6 months old will be using your hacks. I have a pretty neat power setup I'm working on might have to share.
Such a dope video Kev! This is the best video I have seen on an Inovativ cart on the internet!
Griffin Conway thank you bro!!!
Thanks for the support!
This is kinda like a dream car for me. You make it so cool👍
Solid video Kevin! I love that the cart has so many functions throughout the shoot. Really great stuff!
Thanks Jordan! Totally, love it’s versatility

That was a great video man, love to see how you set up the cart
Hello Kevin, thanks for the review vid. Are you related to Steve Reyes. Drag Racing photographer.
Thanks. Good review.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
I'd really like to learn more about the DIT station. Like what's the best way to backup your footage

There's probably a future video of you getting a production van?
Great content! Looking forward to the next one!

@@KevinReyesDP Thanks!
this cart is making me drool
Youre literally making me want to buy all this stuff i dont have the ability to purchase.
Also, 32 never looked better ayyyyy
Haha I still got it baby!!
With the X-Top keyboard shelf, can you insert a lip so you can close it and keep your gear from falling off? Or does it always stay flat?
It comes with a decent foam insert to cover the gap, but mine is starting to fall apart so may think of a different solution soon.

Great video
Thanks for watching! :)
Does the cart include the dop? That would be great 😄
Fernando Gomez haha sure does, hit me up for my day rates 😂
After 3 years, does it still work? Anything broken?
Still working nicely!
Thanks for the video. What hangers did you use to hold the c-stands?
Sunchase Media I’ll be posting a video of a few cart DIY’s including the c stand holders. Stay tuned!
Kevin Reyes ok it’s not that serious just would like to know for mine.

Those don’t look like the cheap, steel, Chinese made NXT wheels. Are they? Oh I see they paint the steel black now.
sometimes some people like cheap ones, then they get the wished one, but with bad quality.
